Holiday Inn Bangkok offers a great stay. Well-located, with clean rooms and friendly service. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and varied breakfast. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Room - good size but filthy I really hate it when I enter the room and the bed linens has not been changed for the next guest (me) cabinets and floors were all dusty I had to clean it myself When i watched how housekeeping made up my room the next day she just change the towels and made up the bed She DID NOT vacuum the floor and wash the toilet bowl and sink I thought staying in Holiday Inn would be better but no coz other 3-star hotels like Centara Watergate Mercure the cleanliness of their rooms are impecable
Breakfast Buffet - GREAT food selection BUT terrible service VERY SLOW and it seems Thais have a different concept of HOT I mean everywhere I went the food and drinks are NOT hot but lukewarm so disappointing they cant seem to understand when I say I want it searing HOT i mean I want it really hot Im referring to the coffee and hot chocolate Egg station also takes so long to bring ur eggs to ur table bec they dont want u waiting infront of them
Facilities - for a 4-star hotel I was expecting they should have a free shuttle service like a tuktok to Big C at least but times have changed back in the 90s these hotels provided FREE tuktok service to nearby shopping malls
I arrived late in the hotel so I ordered Minestrone Soup and it was the SALTIEST soup ive ever had Im really disappointed coz this is Holiday Inn not some cheap hotel so I expected good food Clearly the cook who made it did not even taste it although Thais prefer salty food I noticed anywhere I went to eat their food are salty and cold

Pros: The hotel location is convenient, great amenities nearby and excellent services and hospitality.
However, I do not recommend you to stay at this hotel, unless you prefer a super soft bed for your holiday rest.
This is solely based on my experience:
I do not recommend to stay in room 3XX, north wing, if you are ever being offered/assigned.
The bed and pillow were so soft, way too soft infact, for any proper rest. I fell sick on the second night out of six nights booking due to improper rest. We have feedback to concierge for a change of room with a firmer bed, and the staff mentioned all the rooms have the same type of bed. He offer to let the housekeeping to make the bed firmer and to provide firmer pillows.
The pillows are as flat as you can imagine after lying on it. When the housekeeping came to make the bed firmer, he place a wooden plank on top of the bed and laid a bed sheet over. We rejected it, who thought to be sleeping on a piece of wood. Then the staff proceed to flip the bed over and gave an extra blanket to cushion over the hardback of the bed. It was a much better alternative than sleeping on the soft bed and pillow. But definitely not comfortable.
Never expected a hotel bed to be so soft. It felt as though the bed has not been replaced for over 30 years, that kind of softness. Totally provide no support.
Booking a hotel, the very least expectation is that the bed provides support and a good rest. Not sure about other rooms, but this is definitely not a room you want to stay in during a holiday break.

Amazing Service and Great Location!
Loved my stay here! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful city view. The breakfast buffet was delicious, Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok!

The hotel is well located and within walking to shopping and food. The room is clean and the service is excellent. The only disappointment is that the shower water temperature fluctuates and could get quite hot occasionally.
