We paid just $185 for 4 nights at this stylish hotel in the heart of Bangkok's best LGBTQ+ nightlife. Here's the scoop: The Good: ✔ Amazing location - 5 mins to Silom Soi 4's drag bars (Balcony, Stranger) and 10 mins to DJ Station ✔ Modern room with comfy bed and good AC ✔ Pool is was nice. ✔ Small gym but enough equipment. The Not-So-Good: ✘ Shower temperature was unpredictable At under $50/night, this was a steal for being right in Bangkok's gayborhood. We'd definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, it’s around 15 minutes walk from the closer MRT/BTS, but hotel do provided the shuttle service to the MRT/BTS, can ask the time schedule from the staff. Room very clean, cosy and lovely place. Only things need to be seated is need to give the small amount of the deposit which is understand. Overall, I’ll come back again! Definitely good experiences and also the rooftop bar is so nice!

If you're planning to explore Bangkok and want to stay somewhere central, Silom Heritage Hotel definitely checks the box for location . It's within walking distance to BTS, surrounded by local food spots, 7-Eleven, and easy access to key attractions. That said, the facilities are quite basic, rooms are clean but showing signs of age, and amenities feel more 3-star than boutique. Service was polite, but nothing exceptional. 📸 My take: It’s a good pick for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize convenience over luxury. Don’t expect resort vibes, but for short city stays, it does the job.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. On my last night, a stranger got into my room TWICE at around 3:30am - 4am, first time, he opened the door the pee himself to the toilet floor, i was awoken cos of the strange sound made by him, I was terrified that someone who I dont know would be able to open my door without my keycard, I pushed him out of the door and shut the door again. 5 - 10 mins later, he was able to get into my room again and this time walked into the foyer of the room and spoke language I don't understand and I nearly needed to fight him off and shouted to him and pushed him out of the room, I was terrified and scared and put the chair against the door in case of any intruder. I called up the front desk and they said would let the security handled that but no update. On the morning, when I checked out, I complaint that to the front desk and she said she would investigate. The security and safety of the guest should be the number 1 priority as is a stranger could get into the room without my room key card, it's a very serious issue, and who knew who would get in and may be life threatening. My wrist got hurt when I pushed the intruder out of the room. The experience was terrible, and I felt so scared and insecure with such incident, which was totally unacceptable and it's absurd that the hotel could not provide a safe environment to their guest. 100% disappointment and this is something that any future guests or the hotel need to seriously look into this issue. As if a hotel could not provide a safe and secure environment to their guests, they should not be running/ operating.

”Pleasantly Surprised – Worth the Stay!” At first, I was a bit skeptical due to some negative reviews, so I only booked 2 nights. But after experiencing the stay myself, I ended up extending for an additional 4 nights. Very satisfied with both the quality and value. Try one night —then decide!

Bangkok is well connected to the world, with two main airports welcoming international travellers. Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) handles most long-haul flights, while Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) serves many regional and budget airlines.

  • Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK): Located about 21 miles (34 km) east of the city centre, this is Bangkok’s largest and busiest airport. It handles most international long-haul flights and many regional connections. The airport is well connected to the city via the Airport Rail Link, taxis, and buses.
  • Don Mueang International Airport (DMK): Situated about 15 miles (24 km) north of central Bangkok, this is one of the world’s oldest operating airports. It mainly serves low-cost carriers and regional flights, particularly within Asia. Transport options include taxis, buses, and train services to the city.

Want to start your trip to Bangkok with ease? Booking a hotel near the airport with a shuttle service can make all the difference. It’s perfect for late-night arrivals or early flights, giving you more time and energy to enjoy the city’s vibrant sights, markets, and cuisine.

Bangkok Hotels Booking Tips

  • Book early (3–6 months ahead) for peak seasons like Songkran (April), Christmas, New Year, or Chinese New Year.
  • Check event dates: Big festivals (e.g. Loy Krathong, International Motor Expo) can cause higher prices and limited availability.
  • Save with deals: New Trip.com users can enjoy up to 8% off hotel bookings.
  • Stay smart: Consider areas like Riverside or Sukhumvit for great transport links and better value than Siam or Silom.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a prime location, just a one-minute walk from Saladaeng BTS Station. It sits conveniently across from Park Silom and right next to a 24-hour McDonald's, making it an ideal spot for easy access to transportation, shopping, and dining. The gym facility is quite minimal, offering only basic equipment. An upgrade with a wider variety of workout options would significantly enhance the experience for guests.

GGuest User1. The hotel is quiet in the middle of the city. In the alley behind the downtown. 2. Very close to Chulalongkorn University and Sanyam Shopping Mall. It is only a few hundred meters to the King Power Building, 2 kilometers to the park of the giant lizard, 2 kilometers to the night market of Chulalongkorn University, and the Grand Palace. It is very convenient. The subway entrance is 500 meters. My three children and I go to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The subway is very convenient. 3. The service attitude is very good. 4. Pay special attention to the number of people: I booked a room for 2 nights online. When I arrived, my 13-year-old daughter, 18-year-old eldest child, and 6-year-old third child, the waiter said that only 2 people can stay in one room. I have to book another room. My daughter communicated in English, and then I booked another standard room for 1,000 baht a night for 2 nights. The 650-meter hotel bed has 1.2 beds, which can only sleep one adult.

CCHEOLDeluxe apartment. 110,000 won per night for 60 square meters. Pros 1. Considering the price, you have to give 5 stars. 2. The rooms are very spacious and have separate bedrooms. Air conditioning is also available. 3. Good bed and bedding. 4. Clean well and no strange smell. The downside is 1. The room is a bit dark even if you turn on the lights. 2. The shower curtain is a bit short, so you will be aware that the water will splash out. 3. Feeling a bit of a softness in the furniture and bathroom. 4. The location of the hostel is ambiguous. (You can ride around ..)

CCHUNLIIt is clean and clean. My sister keeps cleaning. The weifi is strong. The lobby and rooms are all very effective. I especially like a youth hostel. The boss is learning Chinese. They are all people from all over the world. They chat together and the children practice oral English. There are all kinds of food when you go out. Thai food is the best in the world. Nearby is the subway, Patpong Night Market, Japan Street, the hotel is in the alley, very quiet, I like it very much.

WWandering ChildGreat location; not in the centre of the craziness but just a quick walk to the centre of it all. The hotel is also right in the street of an up and coming area getting filled with lovely restaurants and coffee shops and new bars perfect for Instagram pictures. The room itself was also better than what I expected considering how low the price was. The hotel also has its own little restaurant that is open from “dawn till dusk” with very delicious food.

GGuest UserOverall good but breakfast was very expensive. They didn’t clean the room my second day and never restocked the minibar as they stated for the club level room. No water that second day, such a bummer but comfy bed, tiny room lukewarm shower and bath tub. Not enough towels I was using the same ones for 3 days. Wouldn’t go back despite it being modern and nice. The best part was the 7 eleven close by

YYiWould reccomend! Clean and has pretty much everything you need like a hairdryer and a fridge. Only thing is the bathroom toilet bowl is too cramped, i had to sit sideways when using the toilet bowl 🤣 another thing is the aircon exhaust is located inside the toilet, so there will be hot air blowing out when the aircon is on. But i see this as a good thing because the hot air is effective in drying my clothes, i even washed my backpack and hung it up and it dried overnight 👍🏻
