Hotels in Riverside, Bangkok

The lobby entrance is huge and impressive - it certainly has the ”wow” factor. The Flow restaurant - where breakfast is served- and Ale House bar both overlook the Chao Phraya river, a welcome ”natural”counterpoint in this very urban cityscape. A great spot, by the way, for watching the colourful cruise boats traverse the waters in the evening. We concluded affairs with a cocktail on the 360 bar on the 31st floor later, another spectacular viewing point. In the morning the breakfast did not disappoint; so many choices, all beautifully presented. In summary, a delightful experience

I have been to Bangkok many times, and this is the hotel with the best service so far. The hotel is strategically located, with its own pier and multiple shuttle boats, which is very convenient to Iconsiam. The hotel has complete supporting facilities, including spa, swimming pool, and specialty restaurants, which is very suitable for staycation.

Not as good as Chatrium in the Siam location Staff nice however -breakfast buffet very average food -our room bed the shower drain was flooding and also the bathroom gel was empty when we arrived -bed too hard however the topper did help -staff were not as attentive eg not asking us if we needed a taxi upon checking out

Great spacious rooms and beautiful lobby. The Chinese restaurant inside had some of the most delicious dishes we’ve had at the hotels.

Fantastic hotel, great staff, excellent attention to detail, a wide variety of restaurants serving great food. Loved the cigar bar and the staff were very knowledgeable. Service around the pool was top notch and of course being by the river made it very comfortable. Highly recommended. 

It was a nice hotel close to the icon Siam. They had a ferry going to few places near by. Breakfast was nice and they make very good light ice latte which I could drink 3 glasses in the morning. The facility was kinda old and some walls in my room were ripped off and having some cracks due to the humidity I guess. They need some maintenance for that. The flower they gave at check in was very nice in smell. And the chocolate cake surprise for my mom’s bday was simply great. Really yummy and we enjoyed it together watching the nice river view from the room.

Having spent 2 weeks on Koh Samui, we ended our trip to Thailand with a 3 night stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel. It's an amazing hotel - very clean, staff very welcoming and most spoke excellent English which made things very easy for us. The view from every room is the river which provides a great outlook. The facilities are brilliant although we didn't have time to use them all! Both pools are in great locations and have a different vibe to each - equally relaxing. Large fluffy towels are in plentiful supply too. Can't fault the cleanliness of every space and the public areas were bustling but at the same time relaxing. Would recommend. There are high end shops and the only thing that was missing (in my opinion) was a small convenience store - we needed sun cream and had to go out for it.

Friendly and helpful staff at the check-in desk. room is spacious and clean, and everything worked as they should. Bed and pillows were very comfy too. Complimentary breakfast was a truly nice touch. Location is great, walking distance to Sathorn pier when planning to experience Bangkok by the Chao Phraya River. Will stay here again when I’m returning to the Silom/Bang Rak area :)
