Amazing
CCNXGBasel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern.
**Environment:**
Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it.
**Facilities:**
There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers.
**Cleanliness:**
The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels.
**Service:**
Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services.

HHappy visitorThe reception staff are very helpful and forthcoming in providing prefessional services to guests. We enjoyed very much the nice breakfast of high quality in the cosy restaurant . The room was spacious and cleaned. The central location (close to bus/train stops) made it very easy to scenic spots . We made a very good choice of this hotel. The picture shows the dino outside the hotel which makes the environment relaxing.

DDeborah TongGreat hotel right by the exhibition centre with frequent tram connections into the city centre. Comfortable room but a bit cold in the winter. Bathroom is a bit small with mould in the shower. Other than that, a nice stay overall in “Little Basel”!

型型英帥靚正！The location is really good. You will see the blue building once you come out from the railway station.
However there are a few steps in front of the hotel, which make it a little bit inconvenient for travellers with heavy luggage.
The room is spacious with the window overlooking the trains passing by. It is not a bit noisy when the window is closed though you may feel the vibration.
The furniture is a bit old. The shower area is slippery, and so be careful when taking the shower.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel. Stop for the second time. The room category has been increased, but the standard is quite decent room. Windows open. Heating is regulated. It is fashionable to walk to the founded shops and museums, but also a couple of stops to drive is not a problem. Questions are answered in detail. Breakfast is normal. There is an omlet. I will come back. Bed is comfortable, slept.

GGuest UserBreakfast is available if requested, but it is very easy to use the fully equipped kitchen which is mostly used quite well by the guests.
Access by lift is available.
The bunks are quite wide and comfortable and there is lockable storage space.
The site is very near to public transport which is
convenient.
In summer there are eateries and drinking places right next door. There are food shops nearby.
Toilets and showers are all good and kept clean.
