During our stay, we were bitten by bed bugs, as clearly shown in photos. This is a serious health hazard and completely unacceptable for any guest. Beyond the discomfort and risk to our health, such an infestation poses a significant threat of being carried back to our home through our luggage and clothing. We reported the issue immediately to the receptionist . They acknowledged the incident and assured us that a full refund of €348.30 would be processed within three days, however, we have yet to receive any reimbursement or follow-up from the hotel side from the 11 april. I have called the hotel twice and text them by mail but no news until now :///// I did not recommand this hotel

Very clean conditions and helpful staff. The reception area is very welcoming and a relaxing spot to sit when waiting to check in or if resting after a long day. We were given great amenities and the apartment space was a great size with a large kitchen diner area and TV with a small balcony space.

I was very disappointed in my family's recent stay. Most maddeningly, the internet does not work at all in many bedrooms, and none of the staff seemed interested in fixing the situation – unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. Many other small things went wrong, and the hotel seemed uninterested in keeping us happy. Our refrigerator broke down twice, and even though repairmen were called both times, having to throw out food and wait days without refrigeration was a major inconvenience in a place where kitchen access is a major draw. Nobody offered, for instance, to store our items for us. One of our suites had no detergent and sponges. We were told that they'd never run out before and had no idea what to do: "It's unprecedented!" A more professional hotel would have sent someone down to the store to buy the missing items, which we did ourselves. Likewise, when we ran out of paper towels and asked for more, we were told that only one roll is provided per stay. Considering how much food we had to throw out because the refrigerator didn't work, and how many thousands of dollars we spent booking 2 suites for 10 days, it was petty. We arrived to a bathtub suite when we'd booked a shower suite for accessibility reasons, and they were able to switch us – but it was an annoying and stressful arrival. For this price, you have better options in Barcelona.

Fantastic location if you’re looking for somewhere blissfully quiet at night time and away from the crowds, but with public transport a five minute walk away to the metro which will get you into the city centre in 10 minutes. Big comfortable beds, lovely clean linen, beds made up every day, a great hot shower, a basic kitchenette for fixing breakfast or even dinner if you’re so minded. Has a juicer which was handy given there’s a grocery store nearby selling fresh oranges. The store also has a wide range of food stuffs and even a modest wine selection. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and has very good, reasonably priced Italian food. The other big plus is the service with reception staff sup efficient and friendly. Check in is easy and the staff are very helpful with tips and info. On the downside, the furnishings are looking very tired and the bathrooms really need to be redone bc they are starting to look grubby even though they might be quite clean. The manager told us they are in the process of doing this. Once done this will be much more of a 4 star boutique hotel, but until then you’ll need to overlook the shabbiness and just enjoy the benefits of being in a quiet but convenient location,

Enjoyed our stay at Isabella's house. The apartments are clean and functional, as well as giving a sense of "home". Staff is very kind and helpful, and their restaurant on the base floor has the best Italian dinners. The area surrounding gives a sense of being in the city while also being in a more quiet residential area. Very close to the park and easy to get downtown.

4 people in one of the apartment for 3 nights. After 2 showers water was cold because we discovered, later, that the hot water had limited volume in a heating tank. For 1 day the room was not maden. Position is fine

Isabella's House in Barcelona was a mixed experience for our family of my husband, 13-year-old son and me. Positive: The hotel is located in a quieter area, away from mass tourism, which we appreciated. However, public transport makes it easy to get to the city center. Our room was attractive and the beds were very comfortable. The availability of free WiFi was handy. We also had a small kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and coffee machine, which gave us the option to self-cater. Breakfast, which we booked separately, offered a good range of options, including coffee, tea, fresh juice, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs and bacon, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, fruit salad and sweet pastries. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, although we didn't use it. The daily room cleaning was a plus. Negative: Unfortunately, the rooms didn't quite live up to the expectations we had on the hotel website. Some of the furniture showed obvious signs of wear. In the bathroom above the bathtub, the ceiling was peeling off and there were mold spots. The silicone joints in the bathtub and the tiles showed signs of wear and tear and damage. The black fittings were also prone to limescale stains. This is in urgent need of renovation. We did not think the price of the hotel was appropriate for the shortcomings. We paid almost €1000 for a 4-night stay including breakfast. All in all, we were satisfied, as we spent most of the day outside the hotel and mainly used it for sleeping.

Nous avons réservé pour 3 nuits un appartement avec 2 chambres au dernier étage. L’appartement est spacieux et bénéficie d’une très belle terrasse. Le quartier résidentiel est très agréable et le métro tout proche. Par contre le mobilier est vieillissant, le canapé pas confortable, le carrelage repeint de la salle de bains a besoin d’être rafraîchi. Les toilettes sont dans l’unique salle de bains et il n’y a pas de sèche cheveux, ni même un torchon dans la cuisine. Seulement une couette ultra-fine sur les lits, bien en été mais pas en hiver et une réception qui nous a envoyé balader quand nous avons demandé une couverture.
