Super lovely hotel. The staff is one of a kind, warm and helpful. Location is superb cuz its so close to one of my favorite areas in Barcelona, which is the El Born area. Its in front of the beautiful beach port so the view up on the terrace bar is awesome. Also, get some time to walk around the port area and park. The breakfast was so so to me. Quite pricey (32eu) for what the have. Rather you should go to Bobo or Hoffman nearby for some nice croissants. One down side is the cords and not right next to the bed stand. It was underneath which was quite inconvenient, compared to where a lot of hotels has the usb plugs right by the bed these days

My daughter is currently studying abroad, and for her spring break we had planned on meeting in Barcelona, where neither of us had visited before. Freezing temperatures and snow in the United States unfortunately tampered with our plans, and I was then detained and unable to join her. At first I was nervous, but the Hotel Arts took amazing care of my daughter as she experienced her first solo vacation - and loved every moment. From all she has told me, it sounds like the Hotel Arts made a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience in every way. Special shout out to the incredible bar staff in the lobby bar who gave her an amazing list of restaurants, bars, and site recommendations. Bartenders Alex, Nicola and Diego, whose service went above and beyond, by her report, were welcoming, gracious, and terrific hosts. My daughter also tells me the woman who helped her with check in and check out was wonderfully friendly and helped her arrange a taxi for her departure and also gave some local tips. Her name, however, seemed Catalan and my daughter cannot remember how to spell it. On check-in my daughter was given both a spa and drink voucher, both of which were very much appreciated, and put to good use. In the room as well, was a lovely gift of fresh clementines, which I am told tasted wonderful. The location of the Hotel Arts is also perfect, sitting on the beach and close to attractions and public transportation. The amenities were also wonderful, and the gym was clean, spacious, and had lovely equipment. The property itself is gorgeous, with astounding views of the Mediterranean. This hotel truly held up to Ritz Carlton and 5 star standard, and every part of her experience far exceeded expectations. She couldn’t have been in safer hands and I am so glad she has such a good experience at the Hotel Art. She recommends it so highly that we are now changing our summer vacation plans from France to Barcelona. we look very much to returning to this amazing property!

I really like this hotel. It's by the sea. It's very comfortable to eat breakfast and look at the sea view. The only downside is that the deposit is a bit chaotic. Booked 1 night due to it’s proximity to our cruise ship, as it is literally about 50m to the South Terminal N quay. Detractors saying it was not 5 star anymore are rather over critical in my view. We stayed Sept. 25, and all I can say is that check in was easy, our request for a high floor was met. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and well appointed, with sofa and 2 comfortable chairs. All rooms appear to have a balcony. We arrived late so had no dinner, but the breakfast and service on the terrace was excellent. The array of buffet choice was as good as it gets. The roof terrace is sensational with views of the port, Barcelona over to the Gaudi's Sagradia Familia. It is true that this has dated a little, but it's still a very good hotel, and we would gladly stay here again without a cruise on our itinerary. It is just 10 mins walk to La Ramblas. A minor point, but in the bathroom the tiling on corners doesn't have the usual edging strip; it actually has recessed polished tile edges (see pic), which I have never seen before, so whoever set the spec and budget for it's build was not thrifty. Marble abounds. Staff readily gave smiles, and were helpful, so I take it as I find it One final point regarding room choice 1 night ok for internal atrium view room, any longer ask for an outside room. Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel: I stayed here 17 years ago in my first visit to Barcelona although I could not remember much of my experience then. I decided to stay at the Hotel Royal Ramblas in my second visit to Barcelona for 5 nights in September 2022 because of its good location. I must say its location on La Rambla is excellent and exceptional. It is close to many popular tourist attractions, it's just a few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya metro station, and bus stops at Plaza Catalunya for the hop on hop off buses. Port Veil and the beach are within walking distance. The room we got on the Planta Royal (just one floor above the breakfast restaurant) was comfortable and clean. Although the room is facing La rambla it is extremely quiet during the night. The wifi was fast, the shower was great and the aircon was so quiet and effective. The breakfast was excelent throughout our stay and the staff at the reception were very helpful and freindly. I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Barcelona. One complaint I would like to make is that for a four star hotel, there isn't any tissue paper in the room. I have to buy one box of tissue papers from Carrefour nearby. But in my opinion Hotel Royal Ramblas is an excellent hotel and I would stay there agin in my next visit.

The room was clean. Good location, seven or eight hundred meters from the beach, about two kilometers from the Sagrada Familia, and about two kilometers from the sailing pier (the casino is here, the tourist gathering place), one kilometer past is the passenger terminal, and another one or two kilometers past is Monte Hui Qishan. Barcelona is the largest city in Spain. Although the population is only 1.6 million, in this big city, it is impossible to choose a hotel not far away. I especially like the streets of Barcelona, leaving two lanes on both sides, with a wide open space in the middle, and nearby shops setting up tables and drinking at night. Probably because of its large area and small population, it is so suitable for living.

Just arrived back from a really nice 4 nights stay in Barcelona. Overall, we had a lovely stay at the Hotel 54., no problems at all. Don't be put off by previous negative reviews... at the end of the day; you get what you pay for. For less than £100 per night in Barcelona... what do people expect? As we arrived at the hotel (around 11am) from an early flight, our room was not ready for us. This wasn't a problem for us, we were happy to head off and explore for a few hours, albeit in the rain! The lady on the hotel reception had actually tried calling us and emailing about an hour later to let us know she had managed to get a room ready early for us. Room was cleaned each day, towels changed daily too. Comfy bed and a nice Juliette balcony. Really big rainfall type shower, always lovely and hot. Only odd thing about the room was the glass around the bathroom, it didn't bother us too much, but it did shed some light through on a night time from outside. Location was great; 5 minute walk to the beach, 15/20 minute stroll to La Rambla. We enjoyed staying a little away from La Rambla, as it was more relaxing and not as frantic and the main tourist area. Some nice restaurants in La Barceloneta area if you like seafood. Breakfast was nice and simple, croissants, omelete, coffee, juice. Due to Covid this was waiter service, We had an early start on our last day. The chaps on reception/ breakfast duty, kindly provided us with some croissants and juice to take away with us. Nice touch.

We have just returned from a four night stay at this Hotel. This was the first time we have been to Barcelona and stayed with the H10 brand. The hotel itself is beautiful, from the reception, bar and restaurant areas to the bedrooms and the top floor terrace with the pool and bar (Closed for our stay however it is the winter months) The views over the harbour from the terrace were brilliant, I could picture how popular and lovely this space would be to use in the summer months. The two rooms we had were great and very well appointed, with modern decor and shower rooms! The hotel provided a mini bar which we didn’t use however was a nice touch, along with a Nespresso machine, Ritual shower/hand soaps and shampoo. The bar was nice to relax in for drinks before exploring the city. All the staff have been amazing and all are a credit to the business. We would certainly return without hesitation. The hotel is perfectly located on Port Vell, which has great restaurants, bars and the beautiful marina. The airport was around a 20 minute transfer away, with La Rambla being around a 15 minute walk. The only negative I could think of is the price of a Gin and Tonic.

First of all the rooms look nothing like the photos on their website. We booked a superior queen room with a terrace and a view. The view was a solid concrete wall around our balcony that couldn't be looked over even if you stood on the bench provided. The bed also wasn't a queen. I know in Europe they push two single beds together, that's fine, but in photos online and in other hotels they put a piece in the middle to join the two beds and dress them as one queen size bed. Ours was two separate beds. My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights and we sleep close together. It was terrible having to sleep in a little twin bed. And did I mention how hard the beds were? We didn't sleep the first few nights because we had to keep tossing and turning otherwise the side of your body would go numb and ache from the hard mattress. The weather channel was saying it was going to rain the next few days in Barcelona so I asked the front desk if they had umbrellas to lend out. They had none. I've been all over to many different countries and I'd say probably all good hotels offer such amenity. Lastly, 100% I know I left a few pieces of clothing behind. I know exactly which pieces were left behind. I remember hanging them in the closet and I specifically remember not packing them. I contacted the hotel immediately. First I got the, you need to call back and speak to management. Then I got the, I need to speak to housekeeping. Three days later they told me no clothing was found in our room. Liars! Straight up liars! I would completely understand if they told me that the clothing was thrown away as standard policy or whatever but don't blatantly lie! The positives were that the rooms were clean and spacious enough and the location was great. Walking distance to the beach, the metro and many restaurant and bars at your doorstep. But we won't be back. I don't support liars and poor management.

I have to rejoice about the size of the rooms, because in two people it was hard to move and handle the baggage together with the rest. Nothing to rejoice on the cleaning, because the rooms were cleaned carefully, but what left a little disturbed was the lack of the safe and the mini-fridge. It's good that it's cheap for the position you are in, but at least a mini refrigerator to put us 2 bottles of water or something else must not miss absolutely!!!

I tested positive for covid and the hotel is not willing to change the dates or refund my money. I sent the test report as proof, but there was no flexibility with the situation. Worse than that is the fact that they are willing to have guests with ”mild covid” cases. According to them, that's what the law says in Spain right now and I could still go to the hotel as I had planned before ”as long as I wore a mask and cleaned my hands”....really? No matter what the law says, I think that it should be common sense that a business should not put their client's health in danger. Unbelievable the lack of responsability and care with the guests You should be ashamed for lying like that! I tested positive in the May 25th and notified you through *********** in the same day! My reservation started in the 27th! I have proof of the conversation through *********** when you said that I could go to the hotel even having Covid! Zero respect for the client, zero commitment to the truth and zero commitment with the client's health safety...I am indeed grateful for not staying with you. I can only imagine how bad the experience with you would have been....by the way, EVERYBODY is in risk of getting Covid! In what world are you living???
