I would rate this hotel as a 3* only, certainly does not live up to a 4*. On the plus side, very clean and reception staff are charming. The room we stayed in had a flickering bathroom light and a patio door handle which looked ready to fall off, both were immediately reported to receptionist who kindly removed flickering lightbulb and said maintenance would sort the handle 'tomorrow', neither issues were sorted in the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast was OK but repetitive, no variation. In the national electricity breakdown there was NO emergency lighting on the staircases at all. A torch was reluctantly supplied by reception. Despite travelling as a party of 4 we were originally allocated rooms 2 floors apart, us in one and the grandaughters 2 floors away. Unacceptable. All in all, very unimpressive hotel.
