Very bad experience at the Leonardo Hotel – Las Ramblas (Barcelona)
I would like to share a very disappointing experience I recently had at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were met with a particularly unpleasant welcome. A tall receptionist, whose name I unfortunately didn't remember, was extremely rude and disrespectful. Her attitude toward guests is unacceptable: aggressive tone, haughty demeanor, no listening skills, and no willingness to help. This got our stay off to a very bad start.
Regarding the room, the situation is equally regrettable. My colleague and I had each booked a room advertised as 13 m². To our great surprise, we were placed in very small rooms which, according to the same receptionist, were barely 8 m². When we pointed out the possible error and asked for a verification, her reaction was incomprehensibly violent, refusing any discussion or solution. She even confirmed that the rooms were indeed 8 square meters... without ever acknowledging that there was a difference from what we had booked.
In short, between the poor reception, the disregard for the customer, and the failure to respect the services booked, this stay was a major disappointment. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
