I liked this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, room was nice, clean and huge, with a lot of lights, breakfast is ok but needs more normal food like fish, porridge and vegetables, location close to metro but a little far from the center

The hotel is very clean also have a small backyard. The receptionists are very friendly. Location is just a few minutes walk from the station.

“I had an amazing stay at here! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!”

I would say the hotel overall is good, but I had a negative experience with the receptionist, Eduardo. Upon check-in, he asked for my card details. I initially thought he only needed the last four digits to verify the booking, but it turned out he was asking for the full card number, including the CVV and expiration date. I found this highly concerning and, to my understanding, it is not standard practice—possibly even against the law—to request such sensitive information without a clear explanation.
When I refused to provide my card details, he then demanded a €100 deposit. Additionally, he made me wait until 3 PM to check in, even though I noticed him checking in other guests before me. I felt that his attitude was somewhat rude, possibly because I didn’t comply with his request.
To be honest, I got the impression that he might be taking advantage of tourists. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and none of them have ever asked me for my full card details in this way. This experience made me feel very uncomfortable and disappointed.

Comfortable clean spacious well furnished rooms, location is very good and 5 minutes walk to Navas metro station in a nice neighbourhood. The reception staff were very professional, attentive and helpful. Arcelon will be My first choice when I visit Barcelona again.
