Beach Hotels in Bang Lamung

Booked a sea-view room but got a partial sea view. The front desk staff were very unfriendly, especially towards Chinese guests. The first night was great, probably because it was election day and alcohol sales were banned. However, on the second night, the bar directly opposite was incredibly noisy until the early hours of the morning. There's virtually no soundproofing. All sea-view rooms will experience 360-degree noise disturbance. If you're a light sleeper, definitely don't book here; it's genuinely very loud. A single terrible bar ruined the whole hotel experience. And a bunch of awful Thai people, so stupid.

Excellent hotel! We were a bit worried that there wouldn't be any quiet and peaceful areas, as it's mainly families with children who stay here, but everything turned out perfectly! Everyone can find a spot they like! The suite rooms are very good, as are the club lounges. The lounge on the 12th floor now offers decent drinks and cocktails with snacks from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. At breakfast, you can enjoy a glass of Australian brut. Juices, water, tea, coffee, fruits, and cookies are available throughout the day! The staff are very polite and friendly! The sea in mid-July was calm and very warm, with no waves. The water temperature near the shore reached up to 35°C.

I'm a repeat guest at Fifth Pattaya. And I keep coming back for more. I find the Grand Deluxe rooms more than adequate with a fantastic kitchenette, private balconies and many of the rooms have just undergone renovation. The breakfast is most acceptable, the location from the beach is just a 3 to 5 minute stroll, the staff of super friendly and efficient. There's no place I'd be happier to stay at.

Excellent Stay with a Great Vibe – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful and truly relaxing time at this hotel. It is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. What I loved: • Amazing Atmosphere & Peace: The hotel is incredibly quiet and peaceful. If you love sunbathing, I highly recommend the swimming pool on the 2nd floor. It offers a great view, a super refreshing breeze, and a totally serene vibe. • Outstanding Service: The staff were lovely, always smiling, and more than happy to answer all my questions. Plus, a huge bonus: they allowed me to check in before 3:00 PM since my room was already ready! • Wellness & Facilities: I unfortunately missed trying out their ice bath wellness experience this time, but I am definitely coming back to try it next time! A few notes: • The room has a charming, vintage style. • In terms of cleanliness, I did find a few stray hairs in the bathtub when I arrived. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning for a quick double-check. Overall, it was a great experience with top-notch hospitality. I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Dara Resort Pattaya. One of the things we loved most was the resort's direct access to the beach, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and relax by the shore. The complimentary shuttle service to Dolphin Roundabout was also a great convenience, especially for exploring the nearby cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas without needing a taxi. The pools were fantastic, and both Twinkle and Walala offered beautiful sea views. They were the perfect spots to unwind with a drink while watching the ocean. A special thank you to The Radius Restaurant for reserving such a wonderful table for us during sunset. The view was absolutely breathtaking and made our dining experience even more memorable. Our corner room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a stunning panoramic sea view. We were also pleasantly surprised when housekeeping created a lovely pair of elephant towels on our bed—it was such a thoughtful touch that brought a smile to our faces. Overall, the service was warm and attentive, the facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily return to Cape Dara Resort on our next visit to Pattaya.

We had a great stay here , the room itself was great. Very spacious,cozy and modern at the same time. The restaurant offers a huge variety of different options although the breakfast was the only average part. The swimming pools are nice and well looked after and the massage bed beside the pool is a very nice touch. I recommend everyone to try it at least once. The staff was very nice,cheerfull and very much helpful and ready to assist us in any matter. The gym was very underwhelming for me as the equipment is very very limited and it’s not a 24h gym as other hotels around here offer. The hotel is located by the beach so that is a big advantage as well. Overall I enjoyed my time here and I praise the staff for the wonderful hospitality and the smooth service they provided us.

The traditional Thai style, with direct pool access from the room, is perfect for a family vacation with kids. Stepping out, you're right at the sea, and an evening stroll along the beach is incredibly relaxing! It's very clean, and the breakfast is tempting too! The pool is lined with classic tropical frangipani trees, giving off a strong holiday vibe! Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and security guards were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home!

I was very satisfied with the location and service. Everything was outstanding. I'd like to thank all the staff; they provided me with an amazing holiday. The location is already a perfect 10. With doors opening to both roads, you can exit from the Beach Road side and reach Central Festival or Walking Street in 5 minutes via baht bus. If you exit from the Second Road side, Terminal 21 is just a 3-minute walk away.

Huge thanks to the ladies at the front desk who handled all questions and requests with great responsiveness and care. I also want to commend their excellent English and exceptional politeness. Some initial cleanliness issues in the room upon check-in were quickly resolved. Regarding the Deluxe room: great view, very comfortable beds, a good work desk, a cool balcony, and a questionable bathroom design (very little space). The concrete floors in the room were quite cold. The slippers provided were not disposable and showed signs of wear. The curtains could use a wash. Breakfasts were good. The main issue was with housekeeping; it seems like the hotel might be understaffed to properly clean a large number of spacious rooms. Plus, there were occasional communication breakdowns between departments. The hotel is located in a scenic but somewhat remote area. Also, someone blocked the upper pathway along the wasteland with “private property” signs, cutting off the area from most of North Pattaya. The beach is good.

The staff here are great specially the young lady working in the morning shift, and the location is perfect for exploring the Night Bazaar and Walking Street. Unfortunately, the room quality doesn't match the service. My room felt unhygienic with stains on the walls and bathroom surfaces. The bed was also very hard with thin, worn-out sheets. This is strictly a ”sleep-only” hotel for those who prioritize being close to the action over room quality.
