"This was our first time in Beirut and we weren’t sure what to expect. The Ramada downtown was everything we could ask for - at a fraction of the price of other luxury hotels. The room was spotlessly clean with a great comfortable bed and ample space. Overall very well maintained. The location of the hotel is also excellent - in a safe area surrounded by great food and seaside walking paths. The hotel also has a generator so power cuts weren’t an issue at all. Above all, what really made the hotel standout was the staff and the three individuals at the front desk. World class professional service with the warmth and class of the Lebanese people. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to share helpful hints and tips given we were first time travellers to Lebanon. In particular, as other reviewers have stated, Amira was exceptional - so kind and welcoming and amazing at her job. The staff really make this hotel special. We hope to return and will definitely stay at the Ramada downtown when we do. Thank you to Amira and the Ramada Downtown team for taking such wonderful care of us!"

"I recently stayed for two nights at the Royal Tulip Achrafieh and overall had a very positive experience. The location is one of the hotel’s strongest assets—right in the heart of Achrafieh, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and key areas of Beirut. It’s convenient whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and good sound insulation, which made it easy to rest despite the busy neighborhood. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive without being intrusive. Service was generally solid. The staff were polite and helpful, especially at the front desk, where check-in and check-out were smooth. While not overly personalized, the service was efficient and professional. Breakfast was varied and of good quality, though it can get a bit busy during peak hours. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that some areas of the hotel feel slightly dated compared to newer properties in Beirut, but this doesn’t significantly impact the overall comfort. In summary, Royal Tulip Achrafieh offers a reliable and comfortable stay in a prime location. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations for the price paid. The breakfast presentation and service were below standard, and the concierge offered very limited information or assistance regarding the city. Guests with cars should be aware that valet parking is mandatory and charged as an extra fee, even for those staying at the hotel. There is no option to decline this service. Additionally, despite being a beachfront hotel and the weather still being pleasant in mid-October, both the pool and beach services were closed. Overall, I expected better service and amenities for the rate charged."
