"The Lancaster Hotel has always been great, with good customer service, location, hygiene, etc. It has always been my first choice for business trips to Beirut. However, I am very grateful for the thoughtfulness of the customer service staff and the timely response of the front desk during this stay, including the room change. Only the bathroom facilities after the room change were a little unsatisfactory, and the other feelings were almost perfect."

"Waited about 30 minutes to check in. After checking in, I found there was no water in the bathroom, so I called maintenance. The tap water had a strange salty taste, and my facial cleanser wouldn't lather. The safe broke twice and wasn't fixed properly either time. The room's soundproofing is terrible; one night, young people in the next room were making noise until 2 AM. I had to call the front desk for help, but then they started up again at 5 AM. The location is in an older central area of Beirut, but now there are many Syrian refugees living there, making it feel a bit dirty and chaotic."

Amazing
MMVery nice, helpful, English speaking staff. The hotel is in a great location if you’re in Beirut for the tourism or the nightlife.
If you’re booking, do bear in mind that it’s got somewhat of a hostel vibe(even though it is a proper hotel) and if you’re looking for a place with lots of amenities you might not be as happy.
I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Beirut and will stay here again when I return.
GGuest UserIt was a great stay. Overall experience perfect. Cleanliness and friendliness and service just great . I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is traveling to lebanon especially if he is going to be in achrafiyeh. Out experience with Citea was just great . We both want to thank them for everything .
GGee88The hotel is beautiful, clean and the location is very central. However the indoor pool in the spa was being emptied in the middle of the day when we tried to use it. Service around the outdoor pool was bit slack for the prices you are paying. However the biggest problem was parking. Felt like we were being taken on a ride, we were told that a full day parking was $25 which we paid, despite the fact that is a really extortinate price for the area, however at the end of our stay we were told that the $25 covers 8 hours only so we were charged twice and extra $9 for an additional three hours stay. So in total we paid $59 for around 20hours of parking which sounds extreme, not to mention the rude way we’re asked to pay. It was the experience I was hoping for, I am unlikely to go back, which is a shame because it is such a historical and beautiful hotel.
MMH1A big thank you for Nadia from in reception who tried to get us a free upgrade, even tho she couldn’t since there were no possibility due to limited availability but she still switched the room type to one of our liking. Our stay was very nice and we will definitely return.
IIrma555The hotel is nice, located near the sea, with its own excellent beach area, several pools, a restaurant, and a bar. Standard room with breakfast. The downside was the room was very smoky, and there was always smoke coming from the next room.
GGuest UserWas a little tricky to find but not that difficult. The hotel is quite charming and has a really nice bar. The dorms itself was quite clean but the bathrooms outside the dorms left more to be desired. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is really the gem. It is in a nice area to explore
SSpringfieldFirst time staying here, the feeling is particularly good, especially the bathroom, which is fully equipped and has hot water as soon as it comes in, which is rare in hotels of the same level in Lebanon. The wooden floor, large bed, and international sockets are very convenient and will choose again next time👍
GGuest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Exceptional Stay — Highly Recommended!
I had an absolutely amazing stay.
The room was spotless, the corners were perfectly clean, and the floor was shining the moment I walked in. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room felt fresh, well-maintained, and welcoming.
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, making the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out.
The toilets were very tidy, clean, and organized, which added a lot to the comfort of the stay.
The hotel is safe, quiet, and in the best location in Hamra, just steps away from AUBMC, restaurants, and all main attractions.
Great value, great service, and truly exceptional cleanliness.
Honestly, a 10/10 stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose it again.
