Numa I Kater Apartments

So we were on Warschauer Straße, which meant we had great access to 3 local supermarkets including Rewe for gluten free produce and within 5 minutes walk of Bus, Tram aka M and U/S Bahm. So we could be anywhere within A/B areas in 30 minutes. The only challenge with the street was that it contained the local Kebab and street vendors so we had nightly clashes / drunken outbursts at 1, 2, 3 and even 5 am during our stay. Due to no Aircon we had to have the windows open, so not much sleep. Also if it wasn't the people it was the emergency vehicles or the U Bahm starting at 5am. The apartment had a dishwasher, fridge, hob and microwave, so really only designed for light cooking. You couldn't really cook for the potential 7 guests. Pin code setup was good though the large handle and tight door meant knuckles got caught most times. The apartment was clean, tidy and everything in working order (we didn't use the hob/microwave). I would recommend using the company again as they were responsive and helpful etc... though I can't recommend the two front apartments due to the late night noise unless Aircon was installed.

We booked a 3 bedroomed self-contained apartment at the Numa Kater in the East Side Gallery part of Berlin. The apartment was brilliant! Fantastic base to explore, well decorated and kitted out with full kitchens and bathrooms - even a washing machine and dishwasher! Automatic check-in was brilliant and service and maintenance requests were prompt via WhatsApp messaging. On one night we had trouble getting in and they were responding to messages after midnight and sorted immediately. Cannot recommend enough for a family - perfect for exploring in comfort and very well priced. Will definitely be going again!
