A pleasant surprise this hotel next to the San Mames stadium, close enough to many points of interest in Bilbao. Very clean and with everything you need in the room and good quality as well. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could want, local specialities, champagne and wine, orange juice freshly squeezed, hot chocolate, a wide range of special teas, home made cookies and pastries, everything so tasty and diverse that it was a very difficult choice. The staff everywhere in the hotel was polite and helpful. Highly recommended for services and quality.

Rude staff. This hotel is the only hotel where before 11am I have been shouted at repeatedly by waiting staff . But the evening before I was shouted at twice too so basically if you enjoy paying over the odds to have rude Spanish people shout at you. Enjoy! We were moved to hotel because the other of the same chain over booked so they did not have a disabled room for us. My husband is a wheelchair user..We arrived after a lot of upset and were told we should be grateful for an upgrade…. Ffs . We stayed in 5 star many times . This is 4 beside a building site .. the bar closed at 10am when we went up late 10.30-shouted - closed!!!! Breakfast - 40 mins before close- food not replaced, scrambled eggs egg all over the counter… sign on the table stated you can ask for fresh anything. I asked was told there’s bacon there… then left with pastries for my son who didn’t get up fur breakfast. Shouted at and embarrassed and told stop there now! I had already been shouted when I arrived. (No good morning!) to take only a small table. Two more nights here… can’t wait to leave. Hate this hotel . The cleaning staff of the rooms are lovely.

The location is great. In the core of Bilbao New Town, there is a parking lot on one or two streets. The overall decoration of the hotel is simple and warm. It has just been renovated in recent years. However, due to the old facilities of the building, it is inevitable that you can smell some kerosene-like smell in the bathroom. Dao, it should be a hot water system. The restaurant downstairs tastes very good, stylish, slightly low cost performance, beautiful rooftop scenery, great bartender

The location of the hotel is particularly convenient to go out, the breakfast is also rich and varied, the service is warm and friendly, stayed for 4 nights, the room is clean and tidy every day, it is to catch up with the cooling and rain, the hotel does not have an umbrella to borrow.

We had a very comfortable stay in Hotel Carlton. It’s my third time to stay there. The location is fantastic. The whole experience is special. The rooms are very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room are very much appreciated. The little bar is nice for a nightcap after a night out. I’ll certainly stay again

The stained glass is very easy to find, the front desk service is efficient and considerate, the room is not small in Europe, the facilities are complete, it is very close to several check-in points, and there are many restaurants nearby.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the at Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia - Great welcome, Our ‘Privilege’ Room on the 7th floor was lovely very spacious with a very comfortable King size bed, large closet with hanging and shelf space and a large safe. There was a minibar with complimentary water 2 still and 1 sparkling, 2 beers and 2 Coca Cola which was replenished every day. There is a coffee machine. Good controllable air conditioning. The Bathroom had a large walk-in shower. There is a nightclub nearby so there is some noise at night so if you are a light sleeper you should ask for a quiet room. Perfect location - The hotel is 15 min stroll to the Guggenheim museum and its about 10 minute walk from the centres of both the old and new towns, there is a Corte Ingles about 10 mins walk away on the main street and the hotel is just a couple of minutes from the river. The Lobby bar is great and the staff are pleasant and helpful and prices are very reasonable – it was lovely sitting outside having a glass of wine. It is very easy to get to from the airport A3247 bus stop, Journey from the airport is about 20 minutes. Great staff All the staff we met were helpful. Reception is on the 3rd Floor. Breakfast is on the 4th floor with good coffee machines and a great fresh orange juice machine. Thank you to all the restaurant and bar staff especially the manager and also Pedro. The housekeeping was efficient, and everything was spotless. There are so many amazing restaurants and bars in Bilbao serving great food – We were lucky enough to be in Bilbao for the start of the festival and we really enjoyed the amazing firework display on Saturday night. We are already looking forward to returning to Bilbao and the Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia.

This trip to pick 🌟 to Bilbao booked this suite I have to say that the hotel in the north is really cost-effective Booked a suite Not only is the living room huge It's also great to have a corner balcony Although it was a rainy day The scenery is really good to me Facilities: water bar snacks are of good quality The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub Hygiene: very clean, after all, it is a new hotel Environment: My suite is on the sixth floor, because the seventh floor is a restaurant, so it is a bit noisy. Our friend's other room is on the fourth floor, which is very quiet. Service: The waiters are very enthusiastic. I went to a spa at night very 👌

The hotel is centrally located, clean, new... In that sense it is very good but they put us in a handicapped room, the closet was very low and you couldn't hang anything long, the shower had a curtain and it stuck to you when you showered apart from that was flooding. The receptionist, very nice and friendly, apologized to us and told us that there was no more free room and that in that hotel the disabled room was considered a normal room.
