Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Birmingham

Less than 10 mins away from New Street Rail station so very near Bull Ring and other attractions as Birmingham Library which looks like a cake!Amazing! Easy check in and out. Hotel has a luggage area so on check out we managed to stroll around comfortably. Friendly staff like Elsa. Good breakfast. I love the vegetarian sausages and the cute, soft little pancakes. Coffee is important for me so I loved that they have 3 coffee machines so no long queue! The reception area has a very nice smell. I want to buy the air freshener they use☺️ Clean room with a very nice view. Had a good stay except that some nearby guests would rather close their doors so loudly that it disrupted my sleep. I just wish people could be a bit respectful.

The room has a terrible moldy smell, no ventilation, the air conditioning drips water all night. There are staff but no sense of service from the lady at the front desk.

We recently booked 2 rooms. We had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn NEC Birm, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. I also appreciated the attention to detail. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The selection was varied, fresh, and delicious. The dining area was bright and inviting, making it a great start to the day. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. Whether you’re looking to explore the city or just relax in a peaceful environment, this hotel offers the best of both worlds. The staff were outstanding – always friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any requests. Their customer service truly stood out and added to the overall positive experience.

Friendly professional staff even when it was extremely busy over breakfast Rooms very clean and well stocked We had to turn the room ventilation/heating off as it was warm enough for us Great location for us - we were attending a women’s football game at Aston which was a 30 minute walk away. Lots of eateries over the way. The only negative I can comment on was the fact the road sign was not lit so we missed the turn off as it’s tucked down a little slip road. We had a good stay and would definitely book it again for our next visit.
