The Embers Hotel

Stacy greeted us at the front desk and upgraded our room… we were clearly exhausted from traveling! Our room is beautiful and well appointed. Shout out to Stacy and Alexa for great customer service and for creating a friendly environment! Perfect place to stay in Blowing Rock!

This was our first time to Blowing Rock. The hotel is new and well appointed. The day of our arrival the hotel was hosting a fundraiser for High Country Hurricane Relief to benefit Hospitality House. It was a great event and a wonderful experience for a worthy cause. The staff really care about their community, and it showed. Our room was very spacious with wonderful amenities. The bed was so comfortable, and the balcony was a nice addition to enjoy the sun and fresh air. We enjoyed our in-room fireplace and comfortable seating. The staff was caring. The hotel has a great deal of potential as they grow with the Blowing Rock community. It is located within walking distance to everything.

My husband and I just spent 4 magical nights at The Embers Hotel for my birthday. We stayed in suite 212 which has a double balcony, a separated living room with entertaining room, a gorgeous shower for two and double granite sinks. Then the master bedroom has a king bed, sofa, two chairs, a fireplace and flat screen. The bed, pillows and sheets are exceptionally comfortable!! I can go on and on about the design and quality of the room, the remote black out blinds and the fluffy huge towels BUT the best thing about The Embers is the STAFF!! General Manager Ben made sure everything was absolutely perfect for us! Everyone else was professional, friendly and considerate. The free warm cookies, water, sodas, snacks and more were pointed out each time we walked through the lobby. I have been around the world and this hotel is now in our top 5!!!

I had an opportunity a couple of weeks ago to have drinks and dinner at The Embers Hotel bar and was impressed with the service and food. I had reservations last weekend at another Blowing Rock hotel but decided to switch to The Embers since they are running a promotion and it is a brand-new property. All was well during the first two nights of my stay. I found the room very comfortable. Luckily, as other guests mentioned, I didn't experience any challenges with the A/C. My satisfaction changed on Saturday evening as I returned to the hotel for the evening. Cars and trucks were parked on every inch of the (small) parking lot, presumably restaurant patrons, without room for overnight guests. The valet finally found a spot for me and had my husband park his truck illegally in front of a dumpster. When I asked the front desk staff why they didn't ensure that oversight guests had guaranteed parking, he blamed the hotel's zoning limitations. As mentioned by someone else, it was a very amateurish answer. I recommend anyone booking this hotel on a busy Saturday night to ask about getting a guaranteed, assigned parking space.
