"On my arrival I found out that there were no bathrooms or showers available on my floor. They were all closed for renovation.and there was no heads-up about it. but the worst part was their crappy breakfast that they charged 20 CAD for.The breakfast was a choice of either one croissant or a chocolatine, and a little bit of a musseli prepared by the bartender and a small cup of coffee., that's it!!these petty scrooges wouldn't even let you have another croissant or coffee for 20 CAD.you can get a full buffet continental breakfast with half of that price in other places.the only thing good about this place was it's location which was at the heart of the old city. The staff seemed friendly enough. The first one who I complained to about the closure of the bathrooms and showers was kind of sympathetic and offered me a beer at half price to make up for the inconvenience.I wasn't very impressed with the second one that refused to give me another frea...ing croissant for my shi....tty breakfast. I have to admit that the lounge room was ok and the rooms weren't dirty. I loved Bordeaux and I want to go back but will definitely not stay there again.I'm surprised that they have a 4 star review on Google!"

Hôtel Burdigala by Inwood Hotels
"The overall experience was OK, but there was a problem with the water filter in the shower on the last night, and the room was flooded. I was not satisfied."
InterContinental Hotels BORDEAUX - LE GRAND HOTEL by IHG
"Thanks to the hotel for upgrading me to a suite. Unfortunately, it faced a small courtyard and was on the second floor, making the entire room quite dim. I couldn't tell if it was sunny or cloudy outside from within the room. However, the room itself was excellent, and the furniture was beautiful and comfortable. If I plan another trip to Poreč, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but I'd request a room not facing the inner courtyard. Also, the bathroom lacked a small shelf for a phone; one should be added near the toilet paper holder. The coffee machine and water heater were both great. I'd suggest replacing the single power outlet with a dual one, as currently, there's only one outlet for two appliances, meaning you have to constantly unplug and replug when switching between them."
Mondrian Bordeaux les Carmes
"First time to Bordeaux to participate in the red wine marathon. These are two things I like! The inefficiency, relaxation and slightly arrogant attitude of the French are the reasons why I don't like them. This restaurant turned out to be a Japanese restaurant. It's not bad if you can choose the wine you like, but there was no hot main course. As an exception, I was given a bowl of French-Japanese style Chinese vegetable noodles! Finally, the next day, my Boston Marathon commemorative jacket was gone. In addition, I was overcharged by more than 2,700 euros at the checkout. They said it was a mistake. At first, they refused to give me the bill. In the end, I found out that it was a mistake. I almost called the police before they admitted their mistake. This issue has always been in a state of inconclusiveness. Ctrip's communication is also pale and powerless. It seems that Ctrip is not influential enough overseas, especially in Europe. By the way, the parking fee is 40 euros per night..."
Le Palais Gallien Hôtel & Spa
"A magnificent hotel in Bordeaux; it's hard to imagine such a beautiful place is hidden in the heart of the city. The jacuzzi in the room was fantastic, as was the staff."
Renaissance Bordeaux Hotel
"Fancy view, nice observation deck on the roof, enjoy some drinks but quite to the city for lunch or dinner. Poor-quality Italian food for the end of March 2026. Cozy rooms, nice design."
Novotel Bordeaux Lac
"Hôtel is located very close by the tramway terminus. The parking is big and closed As for the hotel, the rooms are nice and comfortable The restaurant offers a big and diverse buffet The gym is small and you have to ask reception for the key to use it Overall, nice hotel for a 2-3 days stay"
Pullman Bordeaux Lac
"Disgraceful We booked 3 nights and had to cancel last minute (36hrs before check in) due to a family emergency and they still charged us full price for all 3 nights."
Hôtel Mercure Bordeaux Lac
"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our family's stopover. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-located, perfect for a stopover. The double bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. The only minor issue was the sofa bed mattress, which wasn't comfortable, but otherwise, the overall experience was very positive."
Radisson Blu Hotel Bordeaux
"Not bad, quite enthusiastic"
Hôtel de Sèze & Spa Bordeaux Centre
"We booked a deluxe room with breakfast included. The hotel is a 17th/18th century European building; the top floor was where the maids used to live 🤗. It's in the heart of Bordeaux, a very convenient location. Most attractions and shopping spots are within walking distance, about 10-15 minutes' walk each 🤭. The cleanliness was commendable, and the other guests were very quiet and friendly."
Hotel la Zoologie & Spa Bordeaux
"The hotel is nice, living in an historic building of the university of Bordeaux. Just not recommended for friends to stay as the shower room is too open and too many mirrors inside the room."
Le Boutique Hotel & Spa
A stylish boutique hotel in central Bordeaux, offering elegant accommodation within easy reach of the city's top cultural landmarks and shopping streets.
Hotel Konti Bordeaux by HappyCulture
"Great hotel. Clean, perfect location."
Best Western Premier Hotel Bayonne Etche Ona - Bordeaux
"Premium location , easy access to all center , breakfast simple and good . Service was perfect"
Residhotel Galerie Tatry
"Firstly, I must say that the hotel's accessibility to the train station was excellent. Additionally, considering the price, it offered good amenities, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary items. The cleanliness and quality of the bed were also good. However, the photos showed rooms with a bathtub in the bathroom, but the unit I stayed in did not have a bathtub and was not similar to the pictures."
Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre
"We booked a junior suite for three nights. was told when checking in there was a "technical issue". We guess they have messed up and overbook. We were offered 20 euro per night for downgrading to a double room. However this offer was not even enough for the difference of the two room types. We have to help them to work out the correct difference amount and argue for more compensation. Very poor customer service."
