The place of the hotel is quite near the lake,was than ten minutes walk. And the breakfast there is elegant. However, because of the facilities, it’s not up to a 4-star standard shown in google map. And more like a B&B.

Lovely hotel room was smaller than expected and also the bathroom but it had everything we needed and was lovely and clean the breakfast was lovely catered for my gluten intolerance and the staff were really lovely especially Olivia who served us drinks for both nights nothing was too much trouble for her would highly recommend and we will be back

My wife and I stayed at Burn How for 4 nights. Immediately we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The pleasant atmosphere was maintained at breakfast throughout our stay. The spacious room- with everything you might need- was part of a block of chalets set romantically amongst some beautiful trees. If we return to Bowness we will look no further than Burn How for accommodation. Glyn Davies

It’s a nice cozy hotel. People are friendly. I believe the bathroom is newly renovated. Location wise is close to the Lake.

Difficult to find the hotel, especially at night time, as it is inside a narrow side street close to a cross junction and there is no obvious sign at the entrance of the street. But once you are inside the hotel area, the ambience is adorable. Room is clean and service is good. It is conveniently within 10 minutes walking distance to the city centre and ferry piers.

In the small town of Bowness on Lake Windermere in the Lake District, you can reach the lakeside pier just downhill from the hotel. The scenery is beautiful and you can take a boat. During the New Year's Day holiday, accommodation is still a bit tight. The breakfast here is great and it deserves an award. Parking is convenient and free, and the parking space is right outside the house. There is a garden outside the suite. It should be very comfortable to sit in the yard in summer.
