Vessel Hotel Campana Kyoto Gojo

The hotel is quite old, and many facilities show clear signs of aging. One bedside lamp even had a loose connection at times. Thankfully, the cleanliness was fine. Initially, I was given a room facing a busy road, and it was incredibly noisy. After requesting a change, I got a room in the center of the hotel, which eliminated the road noise. However, there was still a loud, low-frequency hum, possibly from the air conditioning, and I could hear water gurgling through pipes, likely from neighbors showering. I ended up needing earplugs to sleep. Overall, the facilities are old, soundproofing is poor, and there's a lot of noise. On the positive side, the location is convenient, with a 7-Eleven and subway station right outside. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was good; these aspects definitely live up to a four-star standard. However, I probably won't consider staying at this hotel again.

The room was clean and well-maintained with complete facilities, making my stay very comfortable. It's very close to Kyoto Tower, and within walking distance to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kamo River, and Hanamikoji Street. The street food nearby was also quite good.

Booked a triple room this time, and I'm really happy with the atmosphere here. It's super spacious! I slept very comfortably. They offer complimentary drinks and coffee in the pantry until 11 PM. There's a laundry room with a dryer available. The complimentary skincare products are excellent; they're very moisturizing.
