"We stay 2 nights and so happy staying here. Excellent location next to ancient river and like a oasis in old street, very close to Lijing Gate, old town night market and Luoyi ancient city. The ladies in hotel welcome and take care of us with warm hospitality during our stay, so thankful❣️. Two cats are the star, so beautiful and friendly. "Staffs are friendly. They may not able to communicate in English but it does not the problem as they are willing to chat via translate tool. Room is clean and comfortable. 4 free water bottles in room and 2 cans of cola/sprite. Free breakfast. Free light meal during 20:30-21:30. Near Luoyang Longmen high speed station. You may hear some noise as the trains arrive the station. A convenience store close to the hotel. A bit far from luoyi old town but easy to take taxi/didi to it. Overall is it is very good hotel."

We loved our stay to this hotel. We even extended for another night. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has an extremely nice fitness center and free washer and dryer. The breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, pretty standard. Our only complaint is the room and hallways smelled very heavy of cigarettes and smoke.

"We booked this hotel for our family of 4. We were excited to get a family suite, but when we got here we noticed the building was a little outdated. When we got to our room, it smelled old and the carpet was dirty/old. It did not fit the $$$ that we paid for the room. I do need to mention that the staff gave us excellent service! They called in the morning to make sure we weren't missing breakfast or if we needed it delivered to our rooms. The location was excellent, close to malls and restaurants."

"I arrived at noon and was immediately upgraded to a superior king-size room with floor-to-ceiling windows. I checked in right away. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and I was given a snack as a souvenir before leaving. The room was spacious, just the style I like. There was a bar-like sink with plenty of space. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and there was a smart toilet. The TV was large. The hotel was also conveniently located near Xigong Street, and there was a bus stop just to the right of the entrance. Overall, the price was excellent."

There were amazing food shops on the top floors of the Wanda Mall, where there were natives to of Luoyang eat and shop. The locals can tell definitely spot tourists. GGuest UserThis hotel has become a popular check-in hotel with design elements (logs, linen, plants). The interior furnishings are simple and elegant, and the overall design style is indeed quite good.
The breakfast varieties are basically made of seasonal ingredients, and the cooking method is healthy and delicious.
The toiletries are attentive and sophisticated.
The only drawback is that the room was upgraded without prior communication, but it did not match the needs.

NNicDThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

WWeibayuThe hotel was newly opened in 2024. It is very new and clean. The stay experience is very good. The staff are friendly and provide souvenirs to the children when they leave the store, including peony flower cakes and a bottle of water. There is a laundry room, you can wash it yourself, or you can ask the staff to help wash, dry and take it out. The staff will look after you 24 hours a day. There is late-night porridge service from 9:30 to 11 p.m., and the restaurant provides clear porridge and noodles. There is a fairly small parking lot behind the building, which is very convenient. It's very close to the train station, and the street is full of food shops. There are also many barbecue and supper restaurants at night!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is super new! The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful throughout our trip. The room was very very nice...the washroom had a bit of a smell in the morning but it happens sometimes in hotels in china (we've experienced it several times in the past). It wasn't anything having the fan on that couldn't solve and the fan was quiet so didn't bother us.
The bottled teas in the room taste so good! The shower had good water pressure too. One thing I have to say is atour's pillow is the best I've ever slept on that I took the pillow to the front desk and asked them what exact pillow that was so I could purchase and bring home right away. I slept so well throughout.
One night, it suddenly rained so much in Luoyang that all my clothes and shoes were drenched. I only had one pair of shoes and had to go to Shaolinsi the next day early morning...I was able to wash and dry all the clothes...and they helped find a way to dry my shoes in time too! I am sooo grateful or else I would have no idea what to do if my shoes were wet and I had 3 more days to explore.
The beef soup shop next to the hotel was also a good option for breakfast! Truly loved our stay!

LLian SerWe booked this hotel for 2 nights because it is new and next to the Luoshenfu performance next door. Excellent hotel. So beautiful and spacious rooms with separate bathroom and toilet. Way beyond our expectations. Nice bath tub, shower room, projector TV, coffee machine with complimentary cookies and fruits and complimentary drinks in mini-bar. Robot delivering bottled water when requested. Absolutely love the hotel and wish we stayed longer. We will book this hotel again if we visit Luoyang.
Chinese Restaurant had tremendous value. Delicious 9 course dinner including steam fish and lobster, taste really good. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on both nights. The first night we were thoroughly impressed with the private dining room with ensuite toilet.

Definitely the best hotel of our 2 weeks stay in China. Now we have a great impression of Luoyang because of the hotel.
Only feedback is that it will be good if the toilet and bathroom lights can be separate so that at night when sleeping, guests can just switch on the toilet light and leave the rest of the room dark. Current dim light switch leaves bathroom still quite bright and glaring when sleeping. Other than this minor point, this hotel really wonderful and definitely a great hotel to stay in Luoyang!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in the Longmen Grottoes scenic area. You can drive to Dongshan Hotel by navigation and call the hotel for a convenient electric car pick-up. I entered Longmen Grottoes twice during the day and entered the scenic area for a night tour after 4:30 pm. I bought a ticket again at 8 am the next day and there were few people in the scenic area. The breakfast was delicious. You need to go to Dongshan Hotel for lunch and dinner. The meal package of Dongshan Hotel is reasonably priced and tastes good. The room of Dongshan Longyue is very new and clean. I am satisfied!

I checked in with the mentality of giving it a try, but I didn't expect that after checking in, it was still okay, the hygiene and service were very good. The guy at the front desk was very welcoming. He helped us check in and upgraded the room for free. He also gave us a gift when we checked out. I was very happy. The hotel is conveniently located near Zhouwangcheng subway station, which can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. The hotel breakfast tastes pretty good, with freshly made wontons, noodles with soybean paste, fruits, and snacks. It's a great breakfast.

SSam Le ChiqAs a hotel I would give it approximately between four and 4.3 stars out of five. It's not a fancy hotel but the service especially of the front desk is very good. They are very helpful and friendly. In fact they helped me with photocopying some important documents and it's not their job and they didn't charge me any money for it.
The cleaning staff is very thorough and they work very hard but they can be a little loud sometimes talking to each other in the hallway. But as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk they took care of it right away. So I really appreciate that.
Also, the first room they gave me didn't smell very good. It was a little musky possibly because of guests who are smokers. As soon as I mentioned it to the front desk they gave me another room which was much better. Very clean, very comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was Very warm. Also the heating system works very well. It keeps the room nice and warm in the winter. I would like to mention that the hot water shower faucet is extremely good. There's always hot water 24 hours a day to have a nice comfortable shower.
I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThis lovely hotel is as close as you can get to the Longmen Grottoes! Walk or take the hotel shuttle down the hill, and the river and grottoes are in front of you! Our room had great beds, 2 kinds of pillows (I love the buckwheat pillow, my friend prefers the regular pillow), cool air conditioning (it's hot in July), & excellent, powerful shower with high quality shampoo, etc. Although our Chinese language skills are poor, the staff were patient, helpful, & highly service-oriented, using apps to communicate with us. They explained the finer details of getting tickets to the grottoes & moving around the area. The extensive breakfast buffet was terrific, with a huge range of choices to satisfy all palates--I prefer Chinese breakfast foods, my friend prefers Western style breakfast. Both of us were full and happy, ready to climb all the stairs at the grottoes. It is necessary to mention the dinner restaurant at Dong Shang Hotel. It was excellent. Eggplant=100% fantastic! Cilantro salad=100% wow! I recommend their dinner restaurant even if you are not staying at their hotel.

JJosh_mnWe had a great experience staying in the room type with two large beds and one bunker bed. We booked this room kinda expecting the bunker bed to excite our 4 and 7 yo and it definitely proved so. Room is clean, AC is great. The breakfast (made free with a trip.com promotion) is quite a treat. Even some might prefer hot coffee but honestly I cannot complain much with the offer of a hard boiled egg, two potstickers, one pcs of corn, millet congee, etc. The staffs are all responsive and ready to help with request like additional towels/bottled water/breakfast food. The owners had a friendly puppy called “fanfan”on site too. At the end of our trip one of the co-owners used his motorcycles to carry a heavy suitcase to the place we booked our taxi and as we can see they ride people to metro station as well. The location is just a short (maybe 100m) walk from the South Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. We took a night walking into Luoyi Ancient City from the north gate after eating dinner in one of the busiest places known for its street food and getting out of South Gate knowing the hotel is just minutes away. Would definitely recommend this one to others who want to stay near Luoyi Ancient City area.
