5-Star Hotels in Luoyang

We had such a lovely time staying at your hotel, which is perfectly located just a few steps from the gate of Old Town Luoyi. The building itself is an architectural treasure, a beautifully curated traditional structure dating back to the Republic of China era in 1922. Despite being in such a central spot, the property is situated in a pedestrian area, and the garden is incredibly quiet and peaceful. Our room was wonderful, featuring a nice bath and a balcony that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn’t have been nicer to us throughout our stay. We were so touched by the thoughtful details, including the fresh fruit and treats waiting for us in the room, the fan-making activity, and the lovely sachet. To top it all off, we were even given a small gift upon our departure. It was a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciated everything.

This hotel is excellent, truly deserving its place on this year's Black Pearl Guide. It's perfectly located right outside the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, just a few minutes' walk to the scenic area, and very convenient for reaching the high-speed train station or the city center. The surrounding area features Longmen Ancient Street, offering plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel itself has a fantastic design, making it very photogenic. What's even better is the attractive price – the value for money is outstanding; I doubt you'll find a better deal on the entire Black Pearl list.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I just had to because the hotel was so exceptional, and I didn't want the hard work of all the staff to go unnoticed. I stayed for four days, and the room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, clean, and beautiful. But beyond the room's comfort, the service truly provided an overwhelming amount of emotional value. 👍 The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. The driver was formally dressed, neat, and proactively helped us with all our luggage. The car was also spotless, and everyone received a wet towel and a bottle of mineral water upon entering. The attention to detail in their service was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and diligent. Every day, they offered a free selection of snacks, beverages, ice cream, and tea bags. Whenever we had questions, they answered with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, and even gave us various small gifts, which was a delightful surprise. The housekeeping service was absolutely unparalleled; it made you feel like royalty (like even the emperor would bow to you! 😂). All the housekeeping ladies not only fulfilled every request but also proactively anticipated our needs. For example, when they saw my glasses on the table, a housekeeping attendant proactively brought an eyeglass case. When they noticed we had a lot of clothes, a lady would bring a drying rack. And when they saw our cosmetics scattered on the table, another lady brought two small cosmetic bags to help us organize and carry them more conveniently. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, with a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western, hot and cold dishes. The restaurant staff would also proactively and randomly ask guests daily, 'How was your rest last night? Do you have any suggestions for improvement?' If they saw a guest carrying too many plates, they would offer to help carry them back to the table. For dishes that took a few minutes to prepare, they would ask for the table number and deliver them. If you didn't want to go downstairs for breakfast, they could even deliver it to your room. The parking attendant was also amazing, helping with parking, moving cars, and safekeeping keys. Whenever you parked, the attendant was always there, truly providing constant assistance. 😂 Across every service, there were so many instances of such proactive service that it truly deserves the highest praise.

The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing, oxygen-rich getaway. The balcony in the room offers a great view of the hotel's rockery. The service was excellent, especially from the lobby manager (the lady in the yellow shirt). The changing rooms by the pool are very nice, with individual shower stalls equipped with toiletries. The pool itself is spacious and uses an external circulation system. My only minor complaint is that the bottom of the pool was a bit slippery, suggesting it might not be cleaned with a robot very often.

Luoyang is truly a city you won't want to leave once you've arrived! So many museums to explore, endless beautiful sights to see. I stayed here for all 4 days of my trip, and the hotel was fully equipped, with excellent service and a fantastic location. It's far enough from the noisy city center but still conveniently close to the attractions – a taxi to any major scenic spot never cost more than 15 yuan. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

Very good, great service! We originally planned to stay for one day, but the air was fresh and the environment was great by the reservoir. With the upgraded service, we stayed one more night. The room was clean and tidy, with floor heating and air conditioning fully equipped. It was highly intelligent, with a wide view and a great lake view. Special thanks to the kitchen and front desk for their support and help. The children worked hard to take care of us during the Spring Festival. Thank you! Stayed in Family Room this time. Been stayed in many high-end hotels in many countries, the level of services of Pury is impeccable. Picked up at the train station, the friendly driver even taught us how to speak in Luoyang accent! Special thanks to Mr Han, Ms Zhang(Karen) and the ladies who made our room everyday, you made our stay a wonderful experience. Warm, detailed helps and at home feeling. We will definitely come back when we visit Luoyang again!

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic breakfast. We were a little frustrated at check in as we had paid for a more expensive room that wasn't ready on time so they tried to give us a lower end room under the false claim that it was an upgrade when it was in fact a downgrade. Additionally the pool was a public one located off site from the hotel. It was a nice facility but it would have been good to know as I almost went in my bathrobe which would have been an awkward walk around the block. With this minor issues we still had a nice and enjoyable stay.

I had heard about Huayang's excellent service before, and experiencing it firsthand was truly wonderful. Upon check-in, I was offered a hot towel to clean my hands. The front desk lady smoothly took my ID and immediately put a protective cover on it. The room was clean and tidy, and there was an abundance of toiletries. Every staff member was very friendly, always greeting me with a nod whenever we met. During a typhoon, my laundry wasn't drying well, and the staff promptly helped me resolve the issue. What really stood out was returning to find my clothes, which I had hung in the bathroom, had been taken out and neatly arranged on a drying rack. It felt like a 'snail girl' (a mythical helpful fairy) had visited – these small gestures made me feel incredibly cared for. Next time I'm in Luoyang, I will definitely stay at Huayang again. Looking forward to my next visit!

Several friends highly recommended we stay here if we were visiting Longmen Grottoes. I'm glad I listened to their advice, because their taste is excellent! The hotel is located on East Mountain, facing the Longmen Grottoes on West Mountain across the river. You can even see some of the grottoes from the rooftop terrace of Building 5. The hotel is right next to Xiangshan Temple and surrounds Bai Garden, offering beautiful scenery at every turn. The service is also excellent. You can book an electric shuttle at the front desk to take you to the East Gate of the Grottoes, then walk or take another shuttle to the Northwest Gate ticket office. After exploring the Grottoes and Bai Garden, it's just a short walk back to the hotel. The room type we booked even included a free send-off service to the station, which was very convenient. While the decor might be a little dated, the facilities are complete. It's clean and hygienic, with welcome fruit and complimentary snacks and drinks. The breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, all rich and delicious, though the coffee was really not good, haha. We had lunch in the banquet hall, using a BOGO deal from Ctrip for two people, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous and tasty! Upon check-in, we received a voucher for the tea room on the upper floor's terrace. Enjoying tea and a book there was incredibly pleasant! The lady working at the tea room provided amazing service. Overall, I highly recommend it!
