I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The room was more comfortable than I expected. The bed was large and very clean, and the sheets and duvet covers were already changed, so I didn't have to do it myself. The shower room and toilet were separate, which was very convenient, and the hygiene was well-maintained. It was very quiet at night, so I wasn't disturbed. The hostel also has many activities, so even staying alone wouldn't be boring, and the overall atmosphere is great. I especially liked the lobby; it's spacious, warmly decorated, clean, stylish, and comfortable. You can sit there to relax, chat, or watch movies. Overall, the stay was much better than expected, and I would definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Luoyang.

Anonymous UserPros: The hotel boasts a garden-style design, offering a resort-like feel. Its proximity to the Longmen Grottoes is a major plus, making it very convenient. Guests can access the shuttle bus to the grottoes directly from the hotel's parking lot – just ask the front desk for details. The rooms are clean with relatively new facilities. The front desk staff provided excellent service, upgrading my room and offering a late check-out. There were welcome fruits, and customer service was very responsive. During check-out, the lobby staff proactively helped with our luggage and even took a family photo for us. Thank you for your warm service! 🥰
Areas for improvement:
1. The breakfast restaurant staff lacked service awareness. We were a group of 8 (6 adults, 2 children) and had booked 3 rooms. Our two children were slightly over the height limit, and the staff insisted we pay for their breakfast, with an unyielding attitude. This was a disappointment for a five-star hotel and negatively impacted our stay. The breakfast variety and taste were also mediocre.
2. Some electrical outlets in the lobby corners show signs of aging wires, posing a potential safety hazard. Parents with young children should be mindful of this. We hope the hotel addresses this issue promptly by inspecting and replacing old wiring and outlets.

Huge shoutout to Mr. Duan, the hotel's security guard! After checking out and walking to the parking lot, I found my car sparkling clean, all thanks to him. It was covered in dust when I arrived, so seeing it gleaming like new really took me by surprise. The note the hotel left on the car mentioned 'warm companionship' for our journey, and for the first time ever, it didn't feel like an empty platitude. I truly felt it in my heart. Thanks to Mr. Duan for starting my day off on such a positive note!

Guest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money! It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway, making daily commutes super convenient and hassle-free. The breakfast spread is extensive and delicious. The room itself was clean, with excellent natural light, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and efficient. The overall environment is fantastic, plus it's right next to Wanda Plaza and Peony Plaza. The service attitude was great, and I'd say the entire room layout and facilities were excellent – it just made me feel so happy!

Guest UserThe location is great, walkable to both the old railway station and long distance bus station. Tons of local restaurants and stores are right downstairs. The room is very clean and decorated with a modern style, equipped with a big TV. The breakfast included is typical with many choices, and some local specialty food like beef soup, hula soup. Although located in the downtown area, the hotel is actually pretty quiet inside. We also like the roof garden very much. It has a live bamboo wall and a couple of pavilions, excellent for resting and light exercises.

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

Guest UserBEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one.
Hotel & Facilities:
I stayed here for 4 nights.
The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained.
The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area.
There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site!
The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay.
Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard.
The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful.
As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help.
Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle:
During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle.
The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night.
The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle.
Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care.
The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice.
Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites!
Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism.
I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition.
As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me.
Overall:
Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel.
The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special !

Guest UserBeautiful hotel with a fantastic breakfast. We were a little frustrated at check in as we had paid for a more expensive room that wasn't ready on time so they tried to give us a lower end room under the false claim that it was an upgrade when it was in fact a downgrade. Additionally the pool was a public one located off site from the hotel. It was a nice facility but it would have been good to know as I almost went in my bathrobe which would have been an awkward walk around the block. With this minor issues we still had a nice and enjoyable stay.

The hotel offers complimentary jasmine tea bags in the room. Enjoying a cup while gazing at the ancient city's night view from the window was truly delightful! The lobby also has a tea room where you can relax, perfect for unwinding and chatting over a cup of tea after a long day of sightseeing. These small details, though seemingly insignificant, truly show the hotel's attentiveness and care. Such warm moments during a trip are what make it truly memorable!

Guest UserThis is by far the most reassuring and pleasantly surprising hotel I've stayed at during my trips to Luoyang. The weather in Luoyang has been incredibly hot lately. When my girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, sweating, the front desk staff immediately offered us two bottles of water and even gave my girlfriend a hair tie. Check-in was very quick. We were also delighted with the room; it's very spacious and expansive, with an overall ancient-style decor that's perfect for photos and truly reflects the character of this old capital. The breakfast was also fantastic, offering both Luoyang specialties and stir-fries – you can eat whatever you like. The location is excellent too, with a snack street about 500 meters away. I highly recommend this hotel!
