Good hotel in the center of Paro. May be too loud at nights - shouting people, running children etc. Location is amazing. Some good momo-cafes nearby

Amazing hotel, staff were extremely attentive and great place to stay. Will be back!

Location: The hotel is very close to Huxue Temple. But a little distance from the airport. Hygienic: It looks very clean, but I don't know why. There is a dirty one that can't be said. Look carefully, the sheets are damp, there are stains on them, the bed cover is still pilling, and it feels very uncomfortable when sleeping. The bathroom has a serious anti-odor, and there is also a smell in the room. Service: There was an uncle at the front desk, the English was bad, and I couldn't communicate at all. At first, I gave us the wrong room. I turned the order out before changing the room. I called at night to ask if we wanted to eat, and I had already lay down. Booking process: I don't know why, every hotel said that we didn't make a reservation, and asked us whether we booked on ******* or agoda. In fact, we booked on Trip.com , but it seems that there is a problem with their handover, which leads to every stay. It takes a long time to explain. Negative Ratings.

The positive thing, the location is very nice, right at the riverside. Now the negative… for starters, staff at the reception, especially those boys, needs more training on how to handle guest requests. Their attitude is not helpful, borderline rude sometimes. One staff tells you something and a minute later you hear exactly the contradictory thing from another staff. Very confusing and frustrating. Don’t expect 5 star service here …  Let’s move on to the amenities. The rooms are simple and clean, but very outdated, the floor queaks and you clearly hear footsteps from above.  Then there is the spa… first of all, you need to inform them 20-30 mins before you want to use the sauna in order for the staff to turn it on. Then the steam room had really dirty floor which a kinda of unknown black gluey thing sticking to your feet, kinda disgusting. When I told the spa staff about it, then they just ignored it.  Finally, the food in the one and only restaurant, last recipe, was „underwhelming“, if you want it said in a polite way. The pizza dough was still raw when it was served to us.  I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again but I guess this is your only choice if you want a safe option besides Aman or Six Senses.

Really beautiful property

Location - excellent food - average. The food needs variety and taste. Service- varies. Poor- any minor change from the menu served, they levy extra charge. Good- room service is prompt. Hygiene - the towels are not very fresh and bathroom does not smell very fresh, maybe due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. Amenities: the resort needs to keep a luggage weighing scale for international travellers. The property has been an orchard and farm house. Morning walks are good within the resort.

The boys and girls here are very kind, quiet and hygienic. The hotel also provides mosquito repellent. It is the same as the Punaca Hotel, and Punaca has air conditioning. Everyone must have a tipping habit, their wages are very low, drivers and guides sometimes need to find their own place to live and eat.

Everything was amazing right from the word go. The hospitality and cuisine were top drawer stuff. The host took time to drop and pick me up at the inaugural ceremony of the first royal bhutan festival amid-st heavy rains. Looking forward to visit again. Recommend strongly for any first time visitors and i am sure who will automatically make this venue a permanent one.
