Dongtai Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel service was so-so. The front desk staff were rather inflexible. After staying two nights, my key card stopped working on the second day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it renewed. The door lock also broke that night, thankfully it was fixed in time, but it was still a bit of a hassle. There weren't many restaurants nearby, so I ate at all three hotel restaurants. I'm not picky, but the food was all pretty good, and the portions were huge – three people couldn't finish four dishes! The hotel pool was only 1.5 meters deep, not suitable for those who aren't good swimmers. The staff recommended renting a swim ring for 20 yuan. The pool wasn't crowded, so the experience was okay. Overall, in terms of service, the Mercure next door was better. Because the food was served late, they even gave my child a complimentary steamed egg. I didn't mind the egg, but it made me feel respected!

The hotel is located right across from the Dongtai Yaohan Department Store! The transportation is extremely convenient, and the rooms are elegant and clean! The landlady is beautiful and kind; she even gave me extra breakfast and bottled water. Most importantly, the price is very reasonable! The hotel is fantastic, exceeding my expectations.

We stayed here during the May Day holiday. The hotel is located inside the scenic area, so the shuttle service was very smooth, and check-in was prompt. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, offering complimentary fruit. We had children with us, and the staff were very friendly towards them, which was a big plus. The kids also enjoyed the hotel's activities – everything was great. I do have a few minor suggestions: When checking in with children, it would be helpful to proactively ask if they need kids' toiletries and slippers, rather than waiting for guests to request them. The mosquito repellent in our room was nearly empty, and despite calling twice, it was never delivered. Also, there was no information provided about the hotel's facilities, leaving guests to figure things out on their own.

Living in such an environment is part of the travel experience in itself. Listening to birdsong in the morning and watching lanterns at night, it feels like ”crossing”. The whole is imitation of Song or Ming and Qing style buildings, blue bricks and tiles, wooden structure, deep courtyard, taking pictures is very good, can meet the tourists' ”old customs”.

The room is very big and clean. The hair dryer is from Xiaomi. The facilities are very complete. It is very comfortable to live in. I heard that the Shanyu room we stayed in is a 10-year-old room. You can't tell that it has been ten years. It is very well maintained and clean. , I heard that the newly built room also has a smart voice assistant 😂 It’s so advanced. The hotel service is also very good. We provide pick-up and drop-off services to and from the lobby. Fortunately, we met the driver, Master Yu, several times. The master was very enthusiastic in introducing us to the surrounding area, and even spotted wild deer in the distance with his sharp eyes! So happy. When we started chatting, the master also performed a ventriloquist performance for us. The calls of magpies and various birds came randomly, which was particularly powerful. The forest park is large and clean, with a very good ecology. There are many wild animals such as magpies, egrets, and peacocks. I don't know if it is due to the tree species or because it is well maintained. There are no bugs and the facilities are also well maintained. The food was relatively small, but the taste was okay. The old fisherman's food was quite delicious. Although the seasoning was normal, the seafood was very fresh. I had a lot of fun and will bring my friends next time!

We took the kids to Tiaozini and chose this hotel. They had a tide chart posted at the entrance. The rooms were pretty good, and there was a small children's playground near the stairs on the second floor. However, it was quite crowded during the May Day holiday; it seemed like one family had booked several rooms, making the hallway a bit noisy at night.

The stay experience was particularly good, the hotel was strategically located, the travel was very convenient, the rooms were spotless, the lighting and ventilation were good, and the bedding was comfortable. I slept very peacefully at night, the staff was friendly, the response was timely, the service was meticulous and intimate, and the supporting facilities were perfect. Full of cost performance, highly recommended to everyone.

The May Day holiday was more than 11 o'clock in the evening to check in. The hotel did not turn on the lights. It was dark and the location was a bit scary. We walked twice to find the door. The floor was a bit dirty. The children played on the ground and the clothes were dirty. The room facilities are different from the purchase page. There is no weight scale, no double sofa, and the hair dryer is not Feike. The first time I went, I didn’t know the situation. I couldn’t order takeaway here, so there was food at the door. The hotel also has instant noodles sausages to buy. The hotel has breakfast. Not bad, Yangchun noodles are very delicious, overall it is not too good for our stay experience this time, but it is indeed a place to sleep
