Jiayuguan Hotels with Breakfast

The doorman was quick to help me with my luggage, which I really appreciated! The front desk staff were very attentive, providing complimentary hand cream, wet wipes, fruit, and yogurt. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Although the duvet and sheets weren't brand new, they were spotless. As always, there were White Rabbit candies and nougat in a small bowl. I called for 6-8 bottles of mineral water (to boil Chinese medicine), and a robot delivered 8 bottles very quickly. The breakfast was delicious, with my favorite NFC peach juice, and the wontons and xiaolongbao were great. Just a couple of suggestions: It would be better if the fried dough sticks for breakfast weren't fried too far in advance, as they get a bit tough when cold. Also, the shampoo makes my hair feel a bit dry, so I'd recommend adding conditioner.

Very impressed with that hotel and the staff. Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around. The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅 The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system. Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely. The fitness area is a bit minimalist. Self laundry is available and works great. I will return for sure. A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option.In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops). Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

Perfect for families with kids! The room was spacious and odor-free, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We all slept soundly. The front desk staff were really friendly, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Our whole family had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for those traveling with children.

The room is quite big, but the carpet is still a little dirty, and the toilet is not very powerful. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the facilities are in place. The children are also very happy to stay here. It felt very hot when sleeping on the first night, and the air conditioner seemed to have no effect. There are no restaurants around, so it is suitable for self-driving tourists. It is also suitable for model workers to recuperate.

The hotel is easy to find; navigation takes you right to the entrance. There's ample parking both in front and in the back courtyard, which is super convenient for those traveling by car—no need to worry about finding a spot. Even though it was a holiday with many guests, after checking in, the residential building beyond the lobby was very quiet with good soundproofing, allowing for a restful stay. It's understandable that the hotel was busy during the holiday, and overall, the cleanliness was good, making for a comfortable and accommodating experience.

The location is perfect, right at the entrance to the scenic area. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. They speak English and can provide recommendations. I think it’s a really friendly hostel, and it’s easy to make friends here. Jiejie even took us for a drive near the desert so we could get a closer view of the snow-capped mountains. It truly was a great stay!

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The front desk staff were super enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. The room was also spotlessly clean. Plus, the parking lot is huge and even has charging stations and car washing facilities – very comprehensive!

The exterior looked nice, and the room was quite spacious. I even saw a complete sunrise over the Gobi Desert this morning. However, the design of the facilities was really problematic. The sink faucet was partially obstructed by the bottom edge of the mirror, making it difficult to turn on. The facilities also needed repair; the shower water was extremely difficult to adjust—either scalding hot or freezing cold. After struggling for a long time, I finally managed to take a shower. I wanted to change rooms, but it was late, and my luggage was all spread out. Anyway, I was just passing through and staying one night, so I figured I'd just leave it at that. Oh, and the sink water was also difficult to adjust. The first thing everyone should do upon checking in is check the shower water; if you don't have this problem, it's not bad!

Good location. The bodyguard was very nice when he introduced us the best local restaurant. He also followed us to show us the way to go there. Only one comment that we booked non-smoking rooms but the hotel gave us the smoking room so the smell was not so good. Please check customers’s request at the check-in time.

It is located opposite Xiongguan Park and very close to Jiayuguan. The room is clean and tidy, and parking in the yard is very convenient. It is very suitable for guests traveling by car. Breakfast is relatively average. It is packaged food, including milk, bread, etc. It is generally good and recommended to stay.
