A single painting instantly brought warmth to the entire room – a masterpiece by the owner, truly! The three-cannister tea set and the foot bath infused with medicinal herbs were such thoughtful touches. After seeing the impressive fortress, it was so relaxing to sip tea and soak my feet. The young lady (staff member) was absolutely fantastic! She's a strongwoman (helped with luggage) and an excellent guide (showed us a shortcut to the scenic area). Make sure you leave time for breakfast – it's colorful, flavorful, nutritious, and delicious! Did you see the cute little bunny on the egg? It made my whole day! 😸❤ Having such a great employee, you, the owner, must be secretly thrilled. Oh, and by the way, the wild mushroom and free-range chicken soup she recommended (at Changchun Garden) was incredibly delicious!

The doorman was quick to help me with my luggage, which I really appreciated! The front desk staff were very attentive, providing complimentary hand cream, wet wipes, fruit, and yogurt. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Although the duvet and sheets weren't brand new, they were spotless. As always, there were White Rabbit candies and nougat in a small bowl. I called for 6-8 bottles of mineral water (to boil Chinese medicine), and a robot delivered 8 bottles very quickly. The breakfast was delicious, with my favorite NFC peach juice, and the wontons and xiaolongbao were great. Just a couple of suggestions: It would be better if the fried dough sticks for breakfast weren't fried too far in advance, as they get a bit tough when cold. Also, the shampoo makes my hair feel a bit dry, so I'd recommend adding conditioner.

The hotel has a great location and is convenient for getting around. Upon arrival, the hotel proactively upgraded our room. The room facilities were good, the bedding was comfortable, and it was quiet enough to sleep in. The breakfast was plentiful. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommended!

Perfect for families with kids! The room was spacious and odor-free, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We all slept soundly. The front desk staff were really friendly, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Our whole family had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for those traveling with children.

The hotel is easy to find; navigation takes you right to the entrance. There's ample parking both in front and in the back courtyard, which is super convenient for those traveling by car—no need to worry about finding a spot. Even though it was a holiday with many guests, after checking in, the residential building beyond the lobby was very quiet with good soundproofing, allowing for a restful stay. It's understandable that the hotel was busy during the holiday, and overall, the cleanliness was good, making for a comfortable and accommodating experience.

The room was quite comfortable, and they provided disposable towels and toiletries. There's an elevator and parking available. The hallways are quite long, giving it a bit of a maze-like feel, but these aren't major issues. The only inconvenience was that in the afternoon, the main entrance was completely full of parked cars, making it difficult to bring luggage into the hotel. The path was very narrow, and with steps at the entrance, it would be quite troublesome for a woman traveling alone with a large suitcase. Other than that, everything else was fine.

I loved this hostel for its vibes - really great owners who are informative and helpful, and of course, friendly. It's literally just outside the main entrance to the museum and fort. Initially, I thought it would be really remote and out of the way, but I could reach it by public bus from the train station (though some distance away) and there are a number of restaurants around the area that are not just catered to tourists with crazy prices. There's also a restaurant attached to the hostel with good food options. Good facilities including a laundry area, a kitchen, ice machine (they use bottled water)....

This hotel has a unique, retro decor, setting it apart from the common minimalist wooden style you see nowadays. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, making you feel completely enveloped. The biggest surprise was the breakfast – a huge variety, including coffee, and it all tasted great. Honestly, it was the best breakfast I've had in a hotel at this price point in years!

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The front desk staff were super enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. The room was also spotlessly clean. Plus, the parking lot is huge and even has charging stations and car washing facilities – very comprehensive!

Good location in the south of city where many shops and eateries are around. There is a street market next to hotel. The breakfast buffet was tasty and good variety of Chinese food options incl cooked food (meat, fish, prawn), salad, vegetables, soup, fresh fruits etc Had 2 dinners in the restaurant - roast duck and chicken herbal soup were good All staff provided excellent service with smiling faces, welcome gestures. Check in and out were very efficient and quick. There is a self service laundry which is handy after a day out on the Great Walls and Fortress. It's not a 5 star hotel compared to Hilton or Sheraton. The facilities and rooms showed their wear and tear marks .
