Linhai Hotels with Breakfast

It was the first time I brought my baby to Shanghai and wanted to find a clean and quiet B&B. I looked at many B&Bs on Ctrip and finally chose Xingshuli. The boss communicated in advance and helped us carry our luggage. He was very considerate. The environment is indeed very quiet and suitable for relaxing. , the boss and his wife knew that we had a baby and helped us upgrade the room for free. They were so loving~ It is worth mentioning that the cooking skills of the boss's wife yyds! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious🤤. I communicated with the boss for a while in the evening. The boss’ craftsmanship is admirable. The carpentry in the room was all done by the boss himself, and the bedding was so comfortable ~ I couldn’t bear to leave until I left🥹 The boss also gave me handmade brown sugar as a gift. If I have another chance in the future, I will definitely come back~

I have been following this place for several years and finally went there during the National Day holiday. It's a pity that I only booked one day, otherwise I would definitely stay a few more days. This is the 20th homestay I stayed in this year, and it is one of the few that I strongly recommend. The food is also great. It's a pity that there is no latte, but the experience housekeeper made two hand-brewed coffees with different beans, which I loved. Thank you housekeeper, I also like all the atmosphere created by the owner and the boss lady. It's very comfortable, I love everything here, I will recommend it to many people, and I will come back to stay a few more days next time if I have the chance

A morning stroll under the tree makes time feel like it slows down. 💁 Top-Notch Service: The butler service deserves a huge shout-out! Their response time was incredibly fast, truly ”answering every question.” They not only offered great travel advice but also meticulously arranged our daily needs, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥣 Dining Experience: Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, featuring all local specialties. We didn't need to search for guides to enjoy authentic Linhai flavors, starting the day off with great energy. The evening bar service was also good, with well-made cocktails. The reading room had a wonderful, quiet, and elegant atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. 📝 Minor Drawback: Just a small suggestion – while the bar's service and drinks are excellent, there isn't a non-smoking section. This slightly detracts from the experience for non-smoking guests. Overall, the minor flaw doesn't overshadow the positives. It's a hotel with warmth and style, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Linhai!

This hotel, touted as a must-stay for Shanghainese visiting Linhai, certainly lives up to its reputation! Or at least, that's what the book 'Linhai is Quite Interesting' claims. It says the building was originally a pawn shop, later transformed into a hotel named 'Yu Tong Feng' by a local owner with a passion for preservation. It remarkably survived the pandemic and has now become one of the two essential spots for Shanghainese tourists in Linhai – since I couldn't get a table at Xīnrongji (which has a 500 RMB tea fee!), staying here felt like a decent compromise. Ah, about the hotel's unique features – as soon as you enter the room, you'll notice them. The most impressive is definitely their bathtub. Just look at the size; it's practically big enough for three people, absolutely incredible! Backing onto Jinshan Mountain and facing the Lingjiang River, perhaps it allows guests to feel Linhai's complex relationship with water, even from their beds.

The location is really amazing. Before booking, I didn't expect the hotel to be located inside the ancient city wall. I could go up to the city wall to see the night view at night, which is very convenient. The service is very good. The customer service will contact in advance. The hotel has free parking, and the parking lot is directly connected to the hotel. There are welcome fruits in the room, and there are snacks and tea in the hotel lobby. Milk peach gum is provided as a good night dessert in the evening, which is very delicious. The drinks in the refrigerator in the room are also completely free. The breakfast is also good. There are also Western-style breads for Chinese breakfast, and the coffee is not bad. Then when I returned to the hotel, every time I met the staff sisters, they would greet me warmly. The room space is not large, but fortunately it is a loft apartment with high floors and is not depressing. However, the air conditioning noise on the second floor is very loud, so loud that I can't fall asleep. In fact, the window is basically shaded by green trees. From certain angles, you can see the ancient tower next to it. The privacy is better, but I always feel that the scenery is not beautiful enough. In addition, the space in the bathroom is not very large, and there is no washbasin to put cosmetic bags and toiletries. The space is very cramped. The TV is also quite old. In fact, such a large space behind the staircase can be used as a projector. It is a bit tiring to watch TV in bed. One drawback is that the housekeeper confirmed with us in advance that there were 3 adults staying. We arrived at about 7 pm, but the room was not arranged for 3 adults at all. The bed on the second floor was not made, and all toiletries and towels were for 2 people. It was obviously not prepared. So we could only ask the front desk to come and arrange it temporarily. Overall, I think it should be the best and most designed hotel near the ancient city wall of Taizhou, and the price is also here. You can experience it.

This is a new hotel within walking distance of the great wall and food street. Around the corner there are tons of eateries, you won't have trouble finding dinner here. Check-in was smooth and the rooms are brand new and super clean. This hotel had the best breakfast I had during my 2-week trip in China. Great coffee, and it included local dishes and snacks (the seaweed filled cookies are so good!). Staff was attentive, and would help you whenever they can, and you get a small token of appreciation during checkout (cookies!) I wish I had a bit more time in Linhai, and this hotel was part of the reason!

There is no problem with the room facilities, but the service awareness of the breakfast restaurant needs to be strengthened. The weekend breakfast is completely over at 9:30. We arrived on time at 9:30, and they had already started to clean up. There was no freshly cooked hot food at all. The most important thing is that there are still many guests in the restaurant. Cleaning usually starts after most of the guests have left. The waiters ignored the guests and sprayed water while cleaning, which almost made me slip and fall. They also said that slippers are not allowed in the restaurant. I have stayed in so many hotels, but I have never heard that slippers are not allowed in restaurants. I never comment easily, but this is the first time I've seen someone clean up a restaurant in such a hurry.

So comfortable hotel in the center of the city😍 everything is clean inside the room, big and comfortable beds. Kind stuff work there, they are friendly and every time ready to help☺️ I will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

The price is cheap and the quantity is sufficient. Parking is also very convenient. If you want to climb the Taizhou ancient city wall, it is only a few hundred meters away from Lansheng Gate and passes by Donghu Park, which is very good.

The room was very clean, and the hotel service was very good. I was supposed to check out before 2:00 PM, but after explaining the situation to the front desk, I checked out at 2:30 PM. The only problem was the soundproofing was a little poor. Last night after 3:00 PM, there were still men and women chatting and laughing next door. Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. It was also very convenient to sell food nearby. I will book this hotel again next time I'm in this area. Please ignore the poor pixel of my phone 😂
