Meizhou Hotels with Breakfast

百侯山庄 is truly a gem addition to the town. The property is very well maintained, peaceful and tranquil. Everyone from front office, kitchen, security and housekeeping are like family and we had many lovely conversations with them. Special thanks to the chef for our daily breakfast who cooked up all the lovely Hakka dishes and even treated us to a special one on our last day. The climb to the top of the hill at the back of the property is well recommended if you have the stamina as the view is beautiful. Location wise is ideal as 百侯镇 is just across the road as well as 田园农庄 around 600m up from the right of the property serves very tasty Hakka food definitely worth the walk up. Overall our trip back to the ancestral hometown has been made perfect with our stay here. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at 百侯山庄 for making this a complete and memorable trip! (and kisses for the residential dog 绒绒)

This place is a blast, I’ve been really worry before I booked and till the moment I arrived because of the reviews and everything, worrying it is a trap but when the moment I arrived I realised I’ve been too paranoid about it and the whole place is super duper clean and new everything is nice! Washing clothes and drying with notifications functions and also the wifi in room was okay breakfast is nice and simple! Their soy milk is freshly made everyday unsweetened which is super good choice everything is so clean don’t go and believe the bad reviews like me! Front desk and staff are also super friendly and sweet! With manners most importantly! Trust Ji Hotel! Def coming back again! Super recommended! Thumbs up from Singapore!

The scenic merge suite is modern, new and clean. We enjoyed staying in the rooms as everything was perfect and comfortable. The only downside for this room is there is no en suite bathroom hence all 4 of us would need to share the common bathroom. There's a mall opposite the hotel, very convenient for food and leisure.

The hotel had its name changed & its different than the notice emailed to me from Trip.com as per photo attached. So we were confused if we were at the wrong hotel. Trip.com should be updated with any changes and send the right information to clients. Breakfast was very simple & u can do without it. However, the bed was spacious & very nice to sleep in. Although there's laundry, it can only dry your clothes only 30% dry because the washing machine is for home use not commercial. You're expected to bring your wet clothes back to your room to air dry it. We had another day so we could lay our clothes on the sofa & tables to dry. If you're staying only for 1 night, don't do laundry!

The hotel is located in Songkou Ancient Town, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The location is excellent. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and even more picturesque on rainy days. 😍😍 The hotel is a renovated historic building, and some of the design elements (such as the windows) retain their nostalgic character. 🏠🏠 The rooms are bright, clean, and very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, sharing detailed information about nearby attractions. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It was pouring rain when we checked out, but the front desk staff not only reminded us to drive to the hotel's location, but also held an umbrella for us and helped us load our luggage into the car. Very thoughtful. 🥰🥰🥰

This hotel is located right in the city center, which makes getting around and parking super convenient. The decor and amenities are great. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the service was very attentive. It was also really easy to grab a bite to eat on the first and second floors. If you're coming to Meizhou, this hotel is definitely a solid choice!

Newly renovated hotel, the rooms are new, the supplies are new, and the toilet is smart. There is no smell in the room, and the air conditioning is also very powerful. There is a washing machine, scan the code to place an order, very convenient. The only drawback is that there is no service. When I checked in, I had clearly asked not to arrange with the wedding banquet, but the result was still arranged on the same floor. At night, I picked up my relatives and made a noise until midnight. It was very noisy. I smoked and called at the door of the room. The child screamed and ran in the corridor. Contacting the front desk, an aunt came to the attitude is also very bad, ”they have no way to quarrel with us, who knows they have to get it in the middle of the night?” As a tourist, without understanding the local wedding customs, and the hotel is not full, it is really impossible to understand the arrangement of ordinary tourists near the wedding room.

Best Experience staying in China. Its so welcome for foreigner. Im strongly suggest that you learn some basic chinese because you can operate the entire room using voice command. For example opening the window curtain or air conditioner, you just can command “xiao du xiao du” and there will be an AI assistance helping you (only in mandarin). The customer service is also great and very helpful, i can feel that they are so friendly and 前台 002 前台服务态度好 !! 住了两天之内协助了我很多，热情好客接待我们。 one simple thing to add on, if you aren’t used with going to toilet and using tissue to wipes. They provide you a bidet so you can clean using water. Meizhou is my hometown, will definitely come back to this hotel again for the next trip!

I brought my mom here based on a travel blogger's recommendation. The blogger mentioned that the front desk helped with luggage upon arrival, but we didn't receive that service. The location is excellent; it's lovely to stroll along the river after dinner, and it's very convenient to get to the old town. We were given complimentary fruit. The cleanliness was just so-so, and some areas felt a bit dated. My main complaint is that the floors are thin, and the soundproofing from upstairs is poor. We unfortunately had children staying above us who were running barefoot at 11:30 PM, during naptime, and again at 6 AM. I reported it to the front desk staff, hoping they could speak to them, but instead of potentially offending the guests, they offered to move us to another room. I declined because I didn't want the hassle of packing and moving all our luggage. Unfortunately, the noise continued on the second night. This was quite bothersome to me.

The hotel is conveniently situated at a junction where you can find food very easily. There is also a supermarket nearby so we could just stroll over to grab a yogurt drink after meal. The hotel room looked dated and it’s observable from the design and the bathroom, as well as the carpets. However, the room is reasonably clean and service was sincere, friendly and prompt. I sent some clothes for laundry and the staff took the effort to inform me that the clothes would be hand washed then dried under the sun so they should be ready by evening time later on. She also informed me of the pricing, then went on to ask if I was alright with that. I like it that they are very clear with charges and there is no hidden cost. Service was also very prompt. I asked for more water at the concierge when I came back from dinner and the room service staff was already waiting for me at my room door with the water by the time I got out of the lift. The beds were clean and comfortable too. My aunt and I rested well for the two nights we stayed there. The only negative was probably the air conditioner which was quite loud. But once we fell asleep, it didn’t bother us. There is also a very cute tea set in the room which guests could utilize if they wanted tea. It would have been better if they had given us four bottles of water instead of two. Then we would have been having our little tea appreciation session more regularly.
