Guest UserThe environment was quiet, but the hygiene wasn't great. There was a large puddle of water on the floor near the toilet when I checked in. The service was good, though. This is my second stay, and I'm still not satisfied with the hygiene issues. I hope things will improve next time!

Guest User1. Landscape: Core trump card, cured mountain ceiling around Guangfo
1. The hotel is 868 meters high mountain tea garden, with a forest coverage rate of 87%. It is a natural summer resort. The average summer is 23℃. The negative oxygen ions are sufficient and the air comes with tea fragrance. The whole building is built near the lake, surrounded by thousands of mu of terraced tea gardens. The window is the triple landscape of the lake, tea garden and mountains. It is easy to meet the sea of clouds in the early morning on a sunny day. The cable car on the top of the mountain goes directly to the observation deck. The sunset, starry sky, and windmill mountain are all in hand. The walk around the lake plank road is quiet and healing.
2. There are many curves on the last mountain road up the mountain, and the fog in the rainy days will be heavy and the view will be limited. In the evening, the mountain top is windy and you need to prepare a thin coat.
2. The room: clean and comfortable, the Zen tea atmosphere is full
1. Standard mountain view room, lake view suite, parent-child theme room, hot spring villa optional, ordinary room 40㎡ starting, suite with separate living room, multi-person stay is not crowded.
2. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass windows, dry and wet separation bathroom, equipped with towel disinfection cabinet, a whole set of Kung Fu tea set, free elephant nest tea + mountain spring water; soft bedding, stable hot water, good sound insulation throughout the house, quiet at night and not noisy.
3. Parent-child room plus points: equipped with children's tents, small toilets, exclusive toiletries, with a baby worry-free; the villa has its own private soup, and the privacy is stronger.
4. The sanitation is meticulous and the corners are not dusty.
5. Few basic room types have soft mattresses, and it is easy to sleep for a long time. There is a small walking distance between the main building and the hot spring area and the cable car point. You can wait for the hotel shuttle bus with elderly children.
3. Supporting facilities: complete vacation function, rich leisure options
1. Yunquan Valley Tangquan: open-air bubble pool with mountain bamboo forest, special tea soup pool, red wine pool, with constant temperature infinity pool, dry and wet steaming, clean water quality, soaking to relieve fatigue;
2. Free cable car: guests include two-way cable car tickets, direct access to the top of the mountain viewing platform, the sky check-in point;
3. Leisure facilities: gym, table tennis, chess and card room, KTV, small children's playground, Zen tea book bar, you can experience tea picking, fried tea, tea performance;
4. Food and beverage: buffet breakfast and dinner are rich in variety, mainly tea-fragrant chicken, tea-fragrant ribs, mountain spring tofu and other local specialties, terrace restaurant dining can see the night view of the mountain and lake.
5. There are not many outdoor soup pools, and the flow of people on weekends needs to be equal; the children's playground is small in scale, only the wave pool; the cable car has an operating time limit, and the ticket inspection is stopped in the evening, which is easy to miss the mountain.
4. Services:
1. The check-in speed at the front desk is fast, the staff is gentle, and the play route is actively introduced; most room types are equipped with exclusive butlers, and the response to consultation and play, add items is rapid; cleaning and security personnel will take the initiative to say hello when passing by; Children will take the initiative to give small snacks and children's bathrobes, and the needs will basically be met.
2. When the passenger flow is full during holidays, the restaurant and hot spring area are understaffed and the service response is slow; there is no diversion guidance during the peak period of the cable car, and the queue time is long; there is no special person to deliver drinking water in the Tangchi area.
V. Overall summary
Suitable for people: parent-child family, girlfriends short-distance vacation, middle-aged and elderly people to escape the summer oxygen, group building leisure
Advantages: the natural scenery is unique, the air quality is excellent, the room is clean and well-equipped, the tea culture characteristics are prominent, and the price/performance ratio is high in the Guangdong Alpine Resort Hotel;
Slight shortcoming: most of the facilities are crowded on weekends, there are many curves on mountain roads, and the number of soup pools is small.

Guest UserThe space capsule homestay is better than expected, clean and hygienic. The boss is very enthusiastic and gives red envelopes to children when he sees them. It may be newly built, so some facilities are not yet complete. Although the environment in the park is a bit small for the time being, it is not bad. We can barbecue and have hot pot. The boss also added light strips for us, which is very atmospheric at night. (The black goat bought from the nearby market is delicious and not smelly at all). There is a stream next to the accommodation with a lot of watercress in the stream. The boss also cut a lot of watercress for us, which is just right for hot pot.

ZhongxiashiyuThe room was very clean, and the environment was quiet. There's a lake right outside the hotel, and we even saw a rainbow this morning! The location is excellent; it's very convenient to go to Guoen Temple or the Zen Spring hot springs—just a few minutes' walk away. The front desk staff were very friendly and even recommended some reasonably priced restaurants for us in the evening. The porridge at breakfast was delicious. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

Guest UserThe room is very clean and sanitary, the supporting facilities are complete and new, and the accommodation environment is very good. I give it five points. But the activities on this trip were very average. There were originally two May Day activities for children to check in and make handicrafts. There was a small reward for completing the task, but we ran around with the printing cards but couldn't get the materials for coloring and making bracelets. The supermarket staff didn't tell us right away that we had to post on WeChat Moments to get them. They just told us to go to a studio that had paints for coloring, and gave us two boxes of something and two ropes. We thought they were materials for stringing beads, but they turned out not to be. The feeling is that it's so stingy. You stay in a hotel that costs more than a thousand dollars, but they don't even provide such small handicraft materials to make children happy, and they make the guests run around. As a result, the handicrafts are not made, and the hot spring bathing time is also delayed. It's a waste of feelings. The hot spring project is pretty good, but there are too many people. The water play facilities are average, and the wave pool is quite fun. There were really a lot of people going to Jinshuitai Hot Spring this time, and there were a lot of tourists. There are many farmhouses for eating around, and the prices are not cheap, a little bit more expensive. **Lots of group buying. But it tastes good!

Guest UserThe hotel boasts a great location, just a five-minute walk from Guoen Temple. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the room provided Elephant Nest mineral water for making tea, along with tea leaves produced in Elephant Nest – a definite plus. Due to a communication issue between the front desk and the linen staff, my room wasn't cleaned when I swiped my card to enter at 1 PM. Luckily, two people came quickly and cleaned it up, and it was done in no time. Kudos to that lady! 👍 Overall, it was a good hotel.

Posted on Jun 22, 2026|Hot Spring Villa Big Bed Room
Guest UserI booked the A section of Yuetianxia, drawn by the viral water canal, which comes with a private heated pool. Let me start with the only good points, objectively and without exaggeration, 👇
✅Sole highlight: Direct access to the swimming canal downstairs.
The entire canal runs through the villa area, allowing you to play in the water right outside your door. The visual and recreational experience is indeed different from ordinary hot spring hotels, and it's great for photos. However, section A doesn't have any free water toys; they are all in section B.
The room has its own private heated pool, but it's completely useless in summer! The private pool is just for show.
❌Now for all the pitfalls. Families planning to come, take note and avoid these points:
1. All advertised amenities are mediocre, and overpriced.
You can completely ignore the advertised mini-train, glass boat, and children's playground.
▪️The mini-train voucher says it departs at 9 AM, but it actually starts at 9:30 AM, running every half hour – not stated on the voucher at all!
We woke up early and waited by the roadside, with the kids bored the whole time. A solo ride costs 68 RMB, which is extremely poor value for money.
▪️Feeding the deer costs 58 RMB, which is outrageous compared to most parent-child hotels that offer free animal feeding.
2. Zero soundproofing. Night owls and early sleepers, do not stay here.
The public swimming pool is right below the room, with constant noise all day. Several families were having a party in the adjacent villa, making noise and playing until midnight. The soundproofing is so bad that going to bed early is impossible, and getting proper rest is out of the question.
3. Conflicting parking rules. Arriving late means parking on the roadside.
The sign outside the villa states, 'At least one parking space per room, prioritized by room number.' However, when I called the front desk, they changed their tune, saying it's first-come, first-served, with no exclusive spaces. If you arrive late in the afternoon, you have to park on the roadside, which is a huge hassle for families driving.
4. Absurd breakfast. Internal restaurants are unused, forcing guests to a distant, crowded ballroom.
Despite having restaurants within the park, hotel guests are made to go to a huge banquet hall outside for the buffet. It's crowded, the food is mediocre, and I suspect it's mixed with visitors from 'Mijing,' leading to frustrating queues for food and a significantly degraded experience.
5. The park's shuttle service is useless. Waiting for a shuttle takes longer than a public bus.
The hotel claims internal electric carts are available for pick-up and drop-off. I called for one three times and never managed to get a ride. The average waiting time was 20 minutes per call. Walking with kids and luggage is exhausting, making the shuttle service completely ineffective.
6. The front desk's information is unclear, leading to constant information pitfalls during the stay.
During check-in, they only provided simple directions to the room. They didn't proactively explain the mini-train's departure times, schedule, or parking rules. I had to call and inquire after encountering problems myself. The service details are very poorly handled.
My honest conclusion:
I only recommend this place to young people who solely want to play in the water, don't mind noise, and aren't reliant on hotel amenities – basically, treat it as accommodation by a pool.
For families with young children, those who need to sleep early, value comprehensive amenities, or require dedicated parking for self-driving, I strongly advise against it. The promotional hype far outweighs the actual experience.
