The hotel was completely renovated in 2023 with contemporary decoration. The Best Western Metz Centre Gare is located 100 meters from Metz train station in the city center, Centre Pompidou, and the congress center Robert Schumann. The location is just perfect!
This three-star hotel will offer you comfort, convenience, and tranquility.
The hotel has three room categories from a standard room to a deluxe. The difference between those rooms will be the size of the bedding and the size of the room. All our rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a coffee machine, and a television with Canal +.
The breakfast will be served under an American buffet with local products.
We offer a snacking selection with the offer BOCO and you may enjoy a local drink at the bar.
At the Best Western Metz Centre Gare, the front desk is open 24 hours. The team will be happy to assist you with your request.
"The location is in front of the station, so it's very convenient for getting to and from the station. You can walk to most destinations in the city in about 20 minutes, and there are delicious cafes nearby. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away, but it's not that far, so it's convenient to stay in front of the station. The staff were all friendly, and I recommend it if you're coming to Metz.
However, the bathroom was a bit of a problem. There was no curtain in the shower room, and there were almost no steps, so the shower water would flow into the bathroom no matter what you did. I managed to get by with a bath mat, but it was difficult to use, so if there is a room that doesn't have that, I would choose that and stay there again next time."

"I had a fantastic stay here! The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to walk around for shopping and exploring the best local eateries. The room was spotless and well-maintained. I especially loved the spacious bathroom and the super comfortable bed, which ensured a great night's sleep. Everything Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and comfort!"

beautiful hotel is located right next to the Cathedrale and within the city center. So close to all restaurants and a lovely walk in the city.
Room is pretty and fully equipped with all amenities.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Despite there is no lift to go up stairs, friendly staff was able to assist with the luggage.
Highly recommended this hotel.

Guest UserThe hotel is located near the train station, about a 5-10 minute walk away. The rooms are spacious, but the cleanliness is average; only paper cups are provided. There is an electric kettle, but its cleanliness is questionable; there was water in the kettle when I checked in, suggesting it wasn't cleaned properly. The room cleanliness was also poor. Toothbrushes are provided for an extra charge. Check-in is only available from 4:30 PM. Overall, a poor experience; I will not stay here again. There are large supermarkets and department stores nearby.

Great hotel, room and bathroom are not very large but contain everything you need. Breakfast was fine and I even got freshly picked gluten-free bread. We were able to park the car in an underground parking garage 👍

The location is very good. It is just about 300 metres from the train station. From my apartment (217), I had a view of moving trains as the property is located close to the rail lines. It is just in the centre of Metz City, close to supermarkets such as Carrefour, Match and the rest.
The facilities worked very well throughout my stay with the exception of the heater in my room. I improvised with the heater in the rest room. The interior is very neat though the exterior can be better.
The staff mind their business but assisted when approached. I asked for an extension of 2 hours beyond the checkout time to relax before the scheduled time of my train to Paris and it was approved without stress.

We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine.
If we have two big suitcases and we need to unfold both, we need to find our own arrangements. Anyhow, in general, the breakfast service was good! The reception desk was very kind and helpful.
The location of the hotel is not far from city center, located in a very quite place for living habitats I think. I give 4.5 / 5 points.

There is a supermarket next to the hotel, not far from Metz Cathedral and the city center. There are many Christmas markets nearby during Christmas. It is convenient to travel and the room is small.

Small downside for the gentleman at the reception who was very friendly, but who asked me for an identity document. So I gave him my driving license issued by the state and therefore serves as an identity document accepted in France from the moment the photo on the document resembles the person.
Fortunately my wife had hers, otherwise he would not have accepted us.
After research his explanations were completely false.
Otherwise the rest is good

Very suitable for self-driving, the room is really small but you can also put down two big boxes, the bed is still very comfortable, the health is also done well, there are two big supermarkets at the door.

Leider haben die Bilder nichts mit der Realität zu tun. Das Hotel ist abgewranzt und verwohnt. An vielen Stellen ist Schimmel oder Rost. Dennoch ist alles blitzblank sauber. Die Lage ist wirklich extrem zentral und sehr ruhig. Der Pool war nicht befüllt und sah er fürchterlich aus.
