Malang City Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel owner, an older sister, is incredibly kind and caring. My brother didn't return to the hotel that day, and when she couldn't reach him, she called the police. When she found him, he had already been in an accident and was in a semi-conscious state. She kept in touch with me, took my brother to the hospital for examination, arranged a ward and doctors, and even helped find a caregiver and contacted embassy staff. She truly is my brother's savior! When my brother's parents went to Surabaya, she also arranged their airport pickup and helped take care of them. She's such a wonderful person! (And her Chinese is excellent!)

Exceeded expectations overall! The facilities are excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. Great value for money, definitely recommend staying here. The environment is lovely, the front desk staff are friendly, and the hygiene is top-notch. It's also very convenient for getting around.

A Warm Welcome That Feels Like Home Santika Malang From the moment I arrived Santika Malang set the tone for an exceptional stay The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and immediately offered a complimentary traditional Javanese herbal drink a thoughtful local touch that was both refreshing and welcoming They were also quick to assist with my luggage and guide me to my room without me even having to ask Throughout my stay I found myself spending quite a bit of time at the hotel café The bartender was friendly and attentive and the relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a late night coffee and some light bites something I genuinely looked forward to each evening One of the highlights The hotel offers free bicycle loans which is a fantastic perk I explored the city on two wheels and it made the whole experience so much more personal and fun The location is also incredibly convenient Right next door you will find a 24 hour Indomaret and Alfamart for any daily essentials and the surrounding area is full of great local eateries I highly recommend the Sop Soto Betawi at the stall just in front of the hotel authentic delicious and very affordable Overall Santika Malang delivers on every front warm hospitality great facilities and a prime location I will absolutely be returning Highly recommended

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. the staff so kind and helpful. its near with train station and city center. i will definetely back to this hotel if i come to malang again! thankss, i had such a great time here

The hotel strictly requires you to pay deposit of 200 thousand rupiah when you already have prepaid full. I don’t see the need to pay a deposit of such amount because theere isn’t any mini bar provided in the rooms. I booked a king premium room with the balcony and with breakfast!! There is no mini fridge at all, no tissue, no coffee and no tea sachets, no electric kettle. The soap is so small and the shampoo and shower gel is very small bottles also. I paid the room with breakfast but The breakfast provided is not even a buffet! For halal breakfast, you have to go next door cafe and the hotel only gave you breakfast coupon of 50 000 rupiah for each person!! And you have to pay some more for the breakfast because the money coupon the hotel gave is not enough to claim for the breakfast food!! Ridiculous service this hotel has. Usually if you paid the room with breakfast, you dont have to pay anything more! Even the hotel towels not clean! The cafe in the hotel at roof top is NON Halal which serves pork. Muslims not recommended to stay here due to non halal food which has pork. Honestly, we didn’t know until we stayed here. Luckily it was only one night. But it was terrible with no amenities and service staffs not welcoming and not smiling genuinely. Only the location is good at Kayoetangan. But you can choose the Whiz Prime Hotel which is better which is nearby and also in Kayoetangan.

Well, a very nice property, but it's a shame it wasn't well-maintained. The bathroom was damp and poorly maintained. The amenities were good, but they didn't ask us if we wanted a smoking room, but it seemed like the entire hotel was designated for smokers, as there were ashtrays in every corner.
