2-Star Hotels in Malang City

The hotel owner, an older sister, is incredibly kind and caring. My brother didn't return to the hotel that day, and when she couldn't reach him, she called the police. When she found him, he had already been in an accident and was in a semi-conscious state. She kept in touch with me, took my brother to the hospital for examination, arranged a ward and doctors, and even helped find a caregiver and contacted embassy staff. She truly is my brother's savior! When my brother's parents went to Surabaya, she also arranged their airport pickup and helped take care of them. She's such a wonderful person! (And her Chinese is excellent!)

The receptionist was very friendly, explaining all the facilities and showing us to our room. The dorm room and toilet were also clean and fragrant. They lent us towels, had a hot shower, and provided liquid soap. When I booked, I asked for the bottom bunk because I didn't want to climb stairs, but it turned out the stairs were safe to climb. There's a dining area with simple tableware, and you can also use the stove to heat up food. There's a refrigerator and water refills provided. It was a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy. There were 2 towels. Shared bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. There was water dispenser with hot drinking water in the common area. Staff was super welcoming and helpful. There were some tour options to visit Sewu falls and Bromo volcano. But the internet speed was a bit slow.

The place is very strategic, lots of food around, next to it is also Alfa Mart. Suitable for those of you who are backpackers and don't bring a vehicle. If you bring a private vehicle, the parking is not very suitable because it is narrow, few and hot, even though there is a guard at night. Pretty clean with the competitive prices offered by trip.com. For those of you who bring children, the rooms are quite spacious...so the children have space to play.

the hotel is very beautiful and clean. The hotel is very good with food shops such as coffee shops and fast food, this hotel is also close to a mosque which is good for Muslims.. This hotel is quite classic but interesting to come and visit

Everything else was pretty good, but for the shampoo and soap, there were dispensers but no actual product inside. Also, maybe the towels could be updated, as they're starting to feel a bit stiff. And please, check the TV regularly for any issues! 😁 Other than that, it was okay. For the price, it was definitely worth it. Thank you, Safa Guesthouse.

Good hospitality. Near terminal bus malang arjosari. Recommended for backpacker. Minus hot water in bathroom.

The room is fine but it doesn’t look very clean, they should put more effort into cleaning the sheets and the pillow cases, besides that, everything was great. Great location, great services, and great food.

Really suitable for backpackers who only want to sleep when it's late at night and just put things away. Very strategic location in the city center and very close to the train station.
