Mumbai Hotels with Breakfast

The Taj is always going to be superb, of course, and this one is no exception. Two small points - 1. For some reason I had to keep re - signing in to the same WiFi network when I went from the room to various public areas of the hotel 2. There was a peculiar smell of drains in the corridors outside my room which never entirely went away Barring that of course, marvelous hotel, lovely staff, amazing breakfast buffet, super rooms, very nice pool and gym.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at whilst on vacation in India. The staff is really friendly and attentive. The breakfast selection was also really amazing. Situated next to the Palladium mall which was really convenient.

Chose this hotel as I was attending an event in Bombay Exhibition Centre, 10 mins ride away from the hotel in smooth traffic. The airport is also 15-40mins away depending on traffic. The room is spacious from bathroom area to the main bedroom, it could even fit 3 beds comfortably. The bed is too soft for my liking but pillow is good. The bathroom comes with a tub, standing shower and separate toilet. Water pressure in the shower is good and heats up fast. The open concept wardrobe is just next to the shower but having the luggage rack built just under the safe is a safety hazard, almost hit the corner couple of times when taking things out of the luggage. I don't know if it's because the door is heavy or my neighbors are strong, the doors appear to slam each time it closes. I love the scent of Westin's White Tea series which is provided here too, ***** with all basic amenities. They are also very generous with the complimentary bottled water, 6 in all. I appreciate that they noted and acceded to my request for a room near the lift. Service was excellent, the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and full of smiles from the bellboy to security team to front desk to housekeeping and those at the breakfast service. Breakfast at Seasonal Tastes on Level 18, had a view as amazing as the spread, of both international staples to local flavours. Live egg and Paratha/Dosa stations, wide selection of nuts, fruits and juices too. A true 5* stay and will be my choice hotel every time I return to Mumbai.

The yoga courses and Zimbabwe courses are not there but they will pretend that they are there. I asked 4 times to get the schedules through email but that email never came . Be careful cause the security at swimming pool is just like a decoration cause everyone can enter without having the room card to the swimming pool area by just jumping in while some clients are entering. And maybe there is a collaboration with the staff because actually in such beggars clothes how can they pass unobservant even the main door of the reception of the hotel! They have strict policies about cancellation which normally all the other marriotts of the world have..specially with clients who have diamond and travel genius highest level as vip clients .they dont consider that they stayed the entire week 7 days and it can happen that the last day some unpredictable work thing can happen. The 24 /7 service is just a fake thing cause if you call at a normal 10 pm the person's who ll pick up the phone after a LONG wait they still make you wait for the next morning for the concerned person to come and ask. They say ”we ll call you back but that call never comes” .

Great staff, super helpful and very accommodating, beautiful and cozy rooms, and the best breakfast platter one can ask for.

The Ambassador Mumbai on Marine Drive is a standout choice for travelers seeking a blend of historic charm and modern convenience. The hotel, situated behind Taj Mahal Palace, is convenient for exploring Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway and the colonial district. The impressive CSMVS Museum (formerly known as Prince of Wales Museum of Western India) and Vidhan Bhavan metro station (with metro service to/from Mumbai airport) is within 15 minute walking distance. Thanks to Gateway of India, the area around the hotel has very heavy traffic in the afternoon and evening. (If taking a cab to the hotel in the afternoon or evening, you may be stuck in traffic for a long time.) My room is on the 2nd floor and there was quite of lot of traffic noises from the streets. Thankfully the traffic noises died down by 11pm/midnight and the area remained quiet till the morning. My room was clean and comfortable, with decent wifi and complimentary morning newspapers. Electrical sockets in the room accept India 3 round pins, UK 3 square pins, EU 2 rounds pin, etc. Breakfast (available from 7am to 10am) has a small selection of Indian and English items. Staffs that I encountered were polite and efficient. There is a lift/elevator but it's very small (with room for only 2-3 people) so I took the stairs most of the time. My only complaint is that my room was very close to the housekeeping room and the phone in the housekeeping room rang frequently. (Once the phone rang at 4am and nobody picked up.) Nevertheless my stay was generally pleasant, due to the very convenient location.

Though small, it has everything you need. It's quite convenient, especially for getting to the airport in about ten minutes. It's also well-located for visiting clients in Mumbai, as it's centrally situated, making it easy to get anywhere.

Stay was comfortable and rooms were clean. The location is just perfect for someone visiting for us visa formalities. Compared to the other options in the chembur bandra kurla area. I enjoyed my stay. I don't have picy
