"The breakfast buffet had sea bream rice chazuke, which I thought was ingenious, and of course it was delicious. I was able to start the morning feeling rich and had a good day. I have relatives nearby, so I stayed overnight in Fukuyama City, which was a good starting point for Onomichi - Shimanami - Imabari - Takamatsu Castle. I don't have any photos of Fukuyama, so I'll post a photo of Takamatsu Castle."

Amazing
GGuest UserStopped for a night here during our roadtrip and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a traditional ryokan and the lobby is nicely decorated with some really old furniture. Breakfast is delicious with local fish and ingredients, I wish we had order dinner the night before.
GGuest UserThis was one of my favorite places I stayed. The room was so nice and spacious! There’s an onsen you can use at a hotel next door and it’s a quick walk to the station! The people are also very kind. There’s a cafe so there is always staff which is very helpful!
This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very well that night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was quick, and they even thoughtfully recommended local restaurants. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and I was very satisfied. A must-try!
Hotel had everything you needed and nothing more. Not that there was one power outlet on the desk, labeled “24h power”, that would keep providing charge to an appliance even when the key card is not the in room power slot next to the door. Use that if you need to charge something while you are out for the day. Complimentary breakfast was basic but got the job done and it was nice to have different spread each morning. The view from the higher floors (mine was on the 13th floor) was amazing, view of the Shinkansen tracks with the Fukuyama castle in the background. The room was insulated sufficiently that the sound of passing Shinkansen trains didn’t bother me too much, but could be more of a problem if you are a light sleeper.
The downside is that it's far from the station, but there aren't many hotels with large public baths, so I decided on this one. It was clean and I had a comfortable stay.
GGuest UserIt's a good hotel for adults and provides free breakfast. Parking is available downstairs. However, one thing to note is that this is an adult hotel. After entering, there is a vending machine-like device to pay, and no one can contact you during the entire stay. If you need breakfast, please call
