GGuest UserIt was cold, so I went to sleep with the air conditioner on, but it seems that if you ask for a blanket, they will lend one to you free of charge.
There were no problems or issues.

食事はついていませんでしたが、元日でも対応されている近くのカフェを予約してくださり、イタリアンのコースをいただくことができました。
古民家をリノベーションした宿泊場所は、ワンフロアを広く贅沢に使うことができて、とても居心地がよかったです。
時間があるときに、町全体の雰囲気をゆっくり味わいに、また来たいなと思いました。

HHuihuimanThere is no bathroom, but you can go to the bath in the hotel next door, breakfast, like the apartment hotel can try, the only drawback is that when you check in, the room is very hot, the air conditioning strength is not enough, and the whole room is cold for more than half a day.

GGuest UserThe breakfast buffet had sea bream rice chazuke, which I thought was ingenious, and of course it was delicious. I was able to start the morning feeling rich and had a good day. I have relatives nearby, so I stayed overnight in Fukuyama City, which was a good starting point for Onomichi - Shimanami - Imabari - Takamatsu Castle. I don't have any photos of Fukuyama, so I'll post a photo of Takamatsu Castle.

GGuest UserI booked early, so I was able to get a room at a low price. Considering the price, I wasn't expecting much in terms of service, but the room was clean and spacious, and there were plenty of amenities available, including an indoor bath, a large public bath, and a sauna. It was great for tired bodies. The free breakfast buffet was also a welcome treat.
To check out, all you had to do was return your card key to the check-in box. It was great that there was no need to go to reception or go through any complicated procedures. It was also helpful that it was close to the station during the scorching heat of midsummer.
Of course, the staff were all very friendly and it was a comfortable hotel!

GGuest UserEasy walking to the hotel from Fukuyama station. The Castle near the station can be easily accessed by walking ( not too tough for me who has a knee issue). I could see Toyoko Inn at the top of the Castle ground.Also the cathedral.

GGuest UserThere is a convenience store about 5 minutes walk away, and shopping facilities and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away, so I think you will be able to spend there without any problems. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, but there are free areas, and since I only use the shower when I'm working, the plan without a shower in the room was not a problem. The facilities are old, but considering the price, I guess it's acceptable. Thank you for your help.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was delicious. When I stay at a business hotel, I prioritize a hotel with a large public bath and sauna.
At Candeo Fukuyama, the sauna was good, but the water temperature in the cold bath was high, estimated at 25 degrees Celsius, and it was disappointing as it wasn't very refreshing. I wish it was at least kept below 20 degrees Celsius. I hope they improve this.
