YYingtaoxiaowanziThe hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting me upon arrival and seeing me off at check-out. The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.

1. Excellent location.
2. Service was very good.
3. The hotel is quite new.
4. All basic facilities are well-equipped.
5. Breakfast was very rich and varied.
6. They were very accommodating to our two adults and two children. We booked the room for adults, and only had to pay a small difference and buy children's breakfast upon check-in, which was really great.
Cons:
1. The hotel's parking lot is very small and often full. The other two parking lots are quite far, so we just found another parking spot nearby.
2. Dinner on December 30th (New Year's Eve price) for two adults and two children was 21,000 JPY, but the food was really mediocre. Compared to the excellent breakfast and lunch, it was a bit disappointing. Breakfast and lunch, however, were both very good and highly recommended.
3. I've stayed at three Hilton hotels in Japan (Tokyo Disney, Hiroshima, Nagasaki), and none of them have a consistent policy for children. It's always best to call or email ahead to confirm when staying with kids. However, this hotel's extra charge was minimal, which was very considerate.

JJim and Sue ForrestThe Knot Hotel is conveniently positioned, within walking distance of the main walkways, The Peace Park and the river with the ferry to the island of Miyajima.
The staff are all helpful and friendly and the rooms are new and modern design.
The views from the room and the rooftop bar are spectacular. You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Knott Hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hiroshima is an excellent value-for-money hotel, conveniently located just a 310-meter walk from Hiroshima Station. There's a Lawson convenience store on the first floor, making travel and shopping incredibly easy. The 24-hour front desk offers luggage storage, and self check-in/check-out is super efficient. The hotel maintains impeccable cleanliness throughout, with spotless guest rooms and bathrooms. The bedding is comfortable, and while the room size is a bit small, the layout is well-designed, ensuring a perfectly fine stay. Breakfast is a varied buffet featuring both Japanese and Western options, with plenty of choices including local Hiroshima specialties. Free Wi-Fi is available in common areas, and the staff are attentive, even offering sightseeing and travel tips. The soundproofing also exceeded expectations, making this a top-notch accommodation choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima.

WWobaiwoxiaopangziFirst, the positives: the twin room was spacious, and the separate toilet and shower were a definite plus. The mattress firmness was just right, and the window could be opened slightly for ventilation. The front desk was very quick to resolve any issues. A bus stop is conveniently located near the hotel entrance, and there's a 7-Eleven next door. A large supermarket is also just a 3-minute walk away.
Now for the downsides: the hotel is about three bus stops from Hiroshima JR Station, which is quite a long walk, so I wouldn't recommend it. The nearest tram stop is also about a 10-minute walk away. The room's floorboards seemed a bit thin, as there was occasional noise. The indoor ventilation and the refrigerator also generated quite a bit of noise when running. The washbasin was small and not deep enough.
Overall, despite these minor flaws, it's still a very good value for money.

DDarren_in_BarcelonaThis is my second stay at a Livemax hotel after staying at a branch in Tokyo. I was pleasantly surprised with the Hiroshima branch as the service had been so bad in Tokyo. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The room was spacious and quiet. It was really close to the peace memorial and atomic bomb dome. Also the bus to Hiroshima airport is less than a 10 minute walk. The neighborhood was really quiet and guests can enjoy a walk along the river at any time of day. I’d recommend this hotel for a stay in Hiroshima!

LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi.
The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores.
The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience.
The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
