Kevin Lyle ThorntonThis is a three in one booking. Mecure, Tokyu stay and Share Lounge. This is a fantastic hotel with in-room washer, enough open space for two suitcases to open, TV and separate shower & toilet. The location is perfect for walking around to explore the sites, food and shopping. They have a nice light breakfast, if you book it, and free snacks & drinks for hotel guests 10am-10pm. The only thing we wished we had more of was clothes hangers. We highly recommend this hotel.

LuxiaoliThe hotel is located on Heiwa Boulevard, a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station, and offers a free shuttle bus service to the Shinkansen station in the morning. Public transport is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven convenience store diagonally opposite. The rooms are small but cozy. Like all Dormy Inn hotels, there's no bathtub in the room, but you can enjoy the public hot springs on the rooftop. Standard amenities include free late-night ramen, ice cream, and lactic acid drinks in the morning. Overall, I was very satisfied. There's a shopping street right behind the hotel with plenty of food and drink options, so you don't need to walk far to get to Hon-dori. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is also just a 20-minute walk away.

Kenneth ZhangMy stay at this hotel was quite good overall. The location is decent – it's about a 10-minute walk with luggage from Hiroshima Station if you cross the bridge from the Fukuya side and turn left. There's a FamilyMart convenience store about 20 meters in front of the hotel, and Shukkei-en Garden is super close, roughly a 7-8 minute walk away. Most of the city's shopping areas (Kamiya-cho, Hon-dori shopping street, Hiroshima Castle, Peace Memorial Park, etc.) and major department stores are all within a 20-30 minute walk, so nothing is too far.
The hotel lobby on the first floor is staffed 24 hours a day, and the cleaning staff tidies up daily. The breakfast selection is also quite varied, and you don't have to wait long for the elevators.
There are plenty of dining options nearby as well. All in all, it was a good experience! I'd consider staying here again on my next trip to Hiroshima.

Benji95Had basically zero complaints, room was clean and didn’t feel dated. Seemed good value for cost. Showers a bit awkward for people who are tall (6’3+) as I accidentally hit my head on the roof once but it was was not really an issue.

An above-average room with three tiny, loophole-like windows, the blackout blinds of which couldn't be opened during the day due to broken blinds. A large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and rain shower. A well-equipped kitchenette, but no table or chair, just a sofa and a side table—barely suitable furniture for properly consuming home-cooked meals. Strict adherence to check-in times. We had to present our passports several times and then enter all our personal information, from our date of birth to our address, into a computer terminal. This data was all known from the reservation or could have been read from the passports. In other hotels, such data was pre-entered, and after verification, we only had to sign. That would be a standard that corresponds to today's digital world. The selection of amenities was extremely modest. Only instant coffee was available, no drip coffee bags. For breakfast, we were referred to three station cafés, some of which didn't open until 9:00 a.m. We cannot understand the extremely positive reviews from other guests.

There was a feeling of cleanliness, the room was beautiful, and the amenities were abundant, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.
I would like to introduce it to my friends.

Location is great you almost arriving on the same street by using walking bridge from the station. Onsen is hreat and everything refurbished and appear newish. Breakfast was great with wide selection.
Now what i didnt quite like are doors to capsules , it just impossible to not produce sound while opening them and obviously people staying here to get to station early so you are inevitably be woken up. Also there is opening that you cant close to your capsule which let light through everytime someone walk to bathroms.

This hotel is located in the heart of Hiroshima, but it's a bit far from the main tram lines. If you're coming from Hiroshima Station by bus, you'll need to plan your timing carefully or be prepared for a short walk after getting off. The nearest tram stop is about a 10-minute walk, which is reasonable. However, if you're arriving late at night or returning late after sightseeing, make sure to factor in the extra time. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom has a good wet/dry separation. The hotel also offers complimentary welcome drinks at the restaurant next to the lobby from 2 PM to 11 PM, which is a nice relaxing space after a day of exploring. The breakfast is excellent, with a rotating selection of Hiroshima's local specialties every day, such as okonomiyaki, fried oysters, and beef tendon stew. The hotel has a laundry room with reasonable prices and combined washer-dryer machines, which is very convenient as you don't need to transfer clothes. If you plan to do laundry, I recommend going in the late afternoon as it gets very busy in the evenings. Overall, this is a great hotel with a very reasonable price.

Anonymous UserAfter all, it's a high-end IHG hotel, so the facilities are very complete. Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. There are many 24-hour convenience stores nearby, and it's also very convenient for dining and business meals. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If I travel to Changdao again for business, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

BlueBulbInitially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands.
I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen.
There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later).
Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean.
The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face.
I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me.
Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after.
One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen.
There is a convenience store in the hotel.
But I believe they closes at 2200.
Also, there is hot spring in the hotel.
There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use.
I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too.
For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast.
1st day was Japanese breakfast set.
2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast.
They were delicious.
The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections.
For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay.
I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride.
Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue.
I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima.
Thank you.
