Kamo District Hotels with Breakfast

I actually found this hotel through recommendations on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). I saw the hotel offered a shuttle service and thought it might be a bit far from the station, but it's actually very close, just a few minutes' ride. Secondly, the hotel service was excellent! I have to give them a special shout-out for this. When my friend and I checked in, we had just come from the beach and still had sand on our feet. They immediately provided us with wet and dry towels to clean ourselves. On the second day, my friend and I were in a hurry to check out at 12 PM. After reaching the tram station, we realized we had left some things at the hotel. We called them to help us find them and asked them not to throw them away. We were planning to go back to the hotel ourselves to pick them up, but to our surprise, they drove them over to us directly! What's more, they initially said they couldn't find the items, but after finding them later, they made another trip to deliver them! Additionally, the view from the room was fantastic, and so was the private onsen! My friend and I went to the hot spring on the first basement floor. It was very smart; once we locked the door, a webpage showed that it was occupied. There's a smaller indoor onsen and a larger outdoor one. You can see the stars at night while soaking, with a refreshing cool breeze blowing. The air in Izu is also very fresh. All in all, we were very satisfied with the soak! This time, we only got to experience the hot spring on the first basement floor. I'll definitely come back next time to try the private onsen and the other hot spring too! (I only took videos 🥺, so I only have these two pictures 🥺)

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ittouan. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They noticed us from far away and immediately came to help carry our luggage. One of the staff members, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and made communication very easy. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but I would like to thank her again. We booked both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh and the variety was impressive. Every dish was different and beautifully prepared. However, for two women like us, the portions were honestly quite generous — even sharing one meal between two people might have been enough! The location is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Kawazu Station, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting the Kawazu cherry blossoms. It is also very close to the beautiful coastline, so the surroundings are lovely. Our room had a private onsen bath where we could soak while enjoying the view of cherry blossoms, which was a truly special experience. There is also a larger private bath available by reservation (free of charge). We also tried the hot stone spa, which was incredibly effective in relieving the fatigue after my marathon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would love to come back again in the future, hopefully with my family. 一灯庵で本当に素晴らしい滞在をさせていただきました。最初から最後までとても心温まる体験でした。 到着したとき、スタッフの皆さまは遠くから私たちに気づいてくださり、すぐに荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださいました。その心遣いにとても感動しました。特に英語がとても上手な可愛らしい女性スタッフの方がいらっしゃって、丁寧に対応してくださり安心して滞在することができました。残念ながらお名前を伺うのを忘れてしまいましたが、この場を借りて改めて感謝をお伝えしたいです。 夕食と朝食の両方をお願いしましたが、お料理はどれも本当に素晴らしかったです。食材はとても新鮮で、品数も多く、一つ一つ丁寧に作られているのが伝わってきました。すべて違う料理で楽しませていただきました。ただ、私たち二人（女性）には少し量が多く、とても贅沢なボリュームでした。 立地もとても良く、河津駅まで無料の送迎があるので河津桜を見に行くのにもとても便利でした。また、美しい海岸も近く、散歩するだけでもとても気持ちの良い場所でした。 お部屋の温泉では桜を眺めながらゆっくり入ることができ、とても特別な時間を過ごすことができました。また、無料で予約できる貸切風呂もあり、温泉を存分に楽しめました。さらにホットストーンスパも利用しましたが、マラソンを走った後の疲れが本当に和らぎ、とてもリラックスできました。 スタッフの皆さまの温かいおもてなしのおかげで、忘れられない滞在になりました。ぜひまた家族と一緒に訪れたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$ As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!

This was definitely my favorite hotel on this Izu trip! The value for money was exceptional, the views were great, and both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared. I saw some average reviews, but I actually found it to be quite good. My only minor complaint would be the limited shuttle service. In the morning, there are only shuttles at 9:20, 9:50, and a bit after 10:00. I arrived at 11:00 and had to make my own way to the hotel, which was a bit far, but the walk wasn't difficult and was actually quite pleasant. For your second day, I'd highly recommend catching the 9:20 shuttle to make the 9:37 Black Ship cruise to Shimoda!

The hotel provides a pick-up service from Izu Jiudadama. The shuttle bus is on time. I am not afraid of not finding the hotel at night. I booked a Japanese-style room for four people on the same day. At that time, the waiter has prepared the tatami bed, but there are fewer restaurants nearby! But go to the 27th Nanyidou cherry blossom and rape flower festival at night cherry blossom spot and bamboo lantern spot about 10 to 15 minutes away!

A quiet onsen town, with traditional Japanese rooms. It's slowly becoming commercialized, and fewer places offer dinner and breakfast served in your room these days. This stay, however, was a great experience. Since it was our anniversary, the staff even arranged for us to have a pair of mandarin ducks in our room. They took photos of us and gifted them to us at check-out, which was a lovely touch. We visited on a weekday, so the public bath felt almost like a private one. Enjoying the public bath all to ourselves, gazing at the ocean and listening to the waves, was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's shuttle bus is super convenient, getting guests to Izu-Atagawa Station in just a minute.

This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are  the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.  Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.

I'd love to gate keep because this could well be the best ryokan in Izu, but I also believe that Mayu Futahari deserves to be complimented for their service and privacy. We love the location and the peacefulness of Nishiizu. Privacy in this 6 rooms ryokan is out of this world. You've your own dining room and lounge located just steps from your room. Service is simply amazing with an attendant who is there from the morning until she finishes serving your dinner We would definitely return to this rare find again.

I sincerely recommend Hokkawa Onsen Hotel! Our stay completely exceeded our expectations. The hot spring water was incredibly soothing. I highly recommend trying the private onsen, which only costs an additional 2200 JPY (about 90 RMB). It's perfect for two people and offers fantastic value for money. The hotel's free public onsen and the outdoor open-air bath were also super enjoyable! The hotel's public lounge area was very thoughtful, with free cola, various teas, oranges, and coffee available for guests. I must especially commend the elderly gentleman at the front desk – he was exceptionally kind and provided excellent service! The location is superb, right next to the popular and top-rated ryokan ”Bousui”! While Bousui can cost anywhere from 3000 to 5000 RMB a night, this hotel is a fantastic alternative, costing only around 700-800 RMB during the off-season and just over 900 RMB during peak times. It's just a few minutes' walk to the stunning natural Kurone Iwa Onsen by the sea, which hotel guests can use for free, and the views are truly breathtaking. The nearest Lawson convenience store is about 1.1 km away, a 2-minute taxi ride. The hotel also sells instant noodles for 200-300 JPY, which is similar to outside prices, making it very convenient for stocking up on supplies. Our room in the main building was a generous 50 square meters, super spacious! The lobby environment was comfortable, the room was impeccably clean, and the Wi-Fi speed was excellent. The bedding had no unpleasant odors, and walking barefoot on the floor felt perfectly fine. The bathroom had a wet-dry separation, with a very practical layout. I honestly feel this place is underrated and fully deserves a rating of 4.8-4.9. Our entire stay was incredibly pleasant, and we will definitely come back!

The hotel is right by the sea. The view from the window of the room is very beautiful. Dinner and breakfast are complete and delicious. There is an outdoor onsen upstairs of the hotel. And there is a private onsen as well. The staff are willing to serve even though they can't speak English. But try to communicate with the guests Overall worth the price paid.
