The location is very good, turn a corner into the square center. Turning in the other direction to the Tram station is very convenient. But called Taxi, the car can't come in and must go to the Tram station to take a ride. The equipment of the house is very good and the room is bright. Although the restaurant and bar are downstairs, it does not affect sleep at night. I didn't use the hotel's cooperation restaurant for breakfast. I didn't see the previous evaluation. Because the cafe is downstairs, brunch is provided, which is very convenient. The elevator is very satisfied, don't worry about the old house climbing stairs.

The hotel is clean and comfy, perfectly warm for the freezing temperatures outside. Situated right next to Kraków Grzegórzki train station, it was easy to get to/from the airport and to other places via the train as it connects to the Kraków Główny main station.
Staff were helpful, explained where we can go around Kraków. We were given plenty of clean towels, room cleaning service daily. Hair dryer was also provided, with a drinking water dispenser right outside the lift.
Only thing would be the shower as it sometimes pulses between slightly hotter and colder water. Was pleasantly surprised when it’s got heated flooring in the shower though!

I absolutely loved my stay at Stradom House, Autograph Collection. From the moment you enter the lobby and bar, the stunning interior decor sets the tone, and the room itself was spacious, artfully designed, and luxurious yet comfortable, with elegant furniture and a beautiful bathroom—easily a 10/10. My room was located in a separate building accessed through an underground tunnel, which at first seemed quirky but turned out to be utterly charming, as the tunnel itself is beautifully decorated and enchanting to walk through. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious hot dishes made to order from the à la carte menu complemented by an abundant buffet, all enjoyed in a gorgeous breakfast room overlooking a peaceful garden—a truly fantastic way to start the day. The location is another strong advantage, within an easy walk of the Market Square, Wawel Castle, and the lively Kazimierz district. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, style, and unforgettable experiences—I highly recommend it.

cool_dudeIf you are on a short trip to Krakow, this is the best hotel to be at. First of all warm welcome at the reception, welcoming staff, freshly baked cookies with aroma, delicious apples if you are hungry. Everything is so perfect, i will consider again if i want to stay.

albertltThe location was the best, right next to main station, big shopping mall, and tram stops. The room was modern ( it is either very well maintained or recently renovated ). The breakfast was great. It even provide juicer machine where you can make fresh juice by yourself (choices are: apple, carrot, beetroot). Something that I rarely see even in five stars hotel. The most amazing is the hospitality of the staff. We received welcome wawel chocolate during check in and polish pretzel during check out. Special thanks to the receptionist, Ola for passionately explaining the major tourist attractions in the city ( seriously, you have the talent to become a tour leader ;-) ). Also not to forget special thanks to Anita for recommending local polish restaurant and offered welcome chocolate. Both are amazing staff and I can feel their sincerity when serving guest, so make sure you treat them well Mercure, they are your assets :)

Great hotel, good value for money. Free parking next to the hotel. Lidl within walking distance. Good location right between the city center and the airport, although taxis are a factor.

I really liked the Columbus Hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Grzegorzki train station, which is the next stop after the main station Rynek, coming from the airport. I was in a twin room with a balcony, bathtub, fridge, complimentary water, toiletries. Lovely, bright and clean, comfy beds and nice bedding. Breakfast was delicious. The scrambled egg and little sausages were so tasty. The cakes were lovely with coffee afterwards. Also cereal, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and breads and juices. Lovely and quiet, never heard a sound from other guests in their rooms. A real calm and relaxed vibe. There's also an outdoor seating area and a shop across the road. The tram stops are just to the side and are so easy and frequent. Ticket machines are at the stop, or you can pay on board. Don't forget to validate your ticket. Great base for exploring the Jewish quarter and ghetto, Schindler Factory Museum and don't miss the Plaszow guided tour, a highlight so far. Tram 3 and 24 takes you there from outside hotel and coats 4 zlotys. They are in the process of building a museum there, so it's going to be much busier in the future. Go now while its not as well known. I would definitely return to Columbus hotel, an excellent choice, enjoy!

Guest UserThe positives. The hotel was modern, well positioned from the central square, and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was good quality with a diverse choice.
The negatives. A member of the cleaning staff walked into my room early morning without knocking. I believe she didn't realise the room was occupied. I was in my underwear in my bed exposed. It caused much embarrassment to me and her. I made a complaint. However, it was brushed aside, and there was no apology. From the staff member at reception. I ordered in food, and when it was delivered by the outside restaurant, it was left to sit at the hotel reception. When I eventually received a call from the desk via my moibile, the meal was cold and ruined. The receptionist claimed she had called my room telephone - she hadn't. Another incident with the cleaning staff, they threw my water bottle away when they cleaned the room. I asked where it was, and they went rifling through the black bags. I was totally shocked that they thought they could put my possession in the garbage.
The staff can be abrupt, Each job sector is very dislocated from the other, so it feels quite cold in the atmosphere of the hotel. If they could address the harmony of the staff, then the place would feel more welcoming.

Guest UserNice hotel on the outskirts of Krakow. 10 minutes walk to the train station, from where 7 minutes to the airport. The room had water, a kettle, tea and coffee. Nearby, across the road - McDonald's.

Stay ok. It's a pity that there is a bathtub in the bathroom - I don't know if it's only in our room or in all of them. The room is large, the bathroom too. The price of the room includes access to the swimming pool and sauna
