Great
GGuest UserWe love staying here when visiting Fantasy Springs ******. It's less crowded and quiet. The only thing is that it's a hit and miss with their service. The last time i stayed, everyone was so nice. This time, not so much. The breakfast area wasn't refreshed as it should, cold stuff. It used to be so much better! The lady started taking everything out one 930 hit. On the dot. It seriously isn't that serious. Someone grabbing a sausage link at 9:34 should be okay. The front dest ladies seemed in a bad mood. Im a reward member, and checking out late time is really never given to me. They always have an excuse as, why not. The hotel is really clean though and the rooms are very spacious. The only horrible thing is that the AC unit makes such a loud noise, keeps me up most of the night until i knock out! Book it...
GGuest UserI appreciate that the hotel is brand new and it was very clean. However, I will never stay there again. It was the loudest hotel I’ve stayed in and that is saying a lot. I didn’t sleep at all because if people walking around above us. You could hear people walking in hallways, you could hear toilets flushing, etc. Absolutely no insulation in the walls at all. Also, the breakfast ends at 9:30. Checkout is at noon and especially for a weekend, the breakfast should be served until later in the morning. Part of the draw of staying there was the included breakfast but my whole family couldn’t get up before 9:30 and ready to eat, so we missed it. Both the check in employee and the check out employee were not friendly and very cold/dry. Bottom line, clean hotel, but never again.
GGabrielaGreat ambience, first time staying in the hotel. The staff was excellent and hospitable we were greeted by every staff member that we came across. They were all passionate and knowledgeable of the history of the hotel. We were able to check in sooner as our room was available. Even though we had a pool side view, there was very minimal noise. The only down side was that someone randomly knocked on our door at night and apparently there was a leak on the lower floor and staff needed to enter the room the following day but they did apologize for the inconvenience. Can't blame them though as I'm sure the person experiencing the leak was WAY more inconvenienced than us. Aside from that everything was great, the food, drinks, staff, and even the guests would share/recommend things to do or see. Would definitely come back again!
SSamanthaOur first time staying downtown Palm Springs and we loved it! The hotel was gorgeous (just like the photos!) Walking distance to the main ***** with lots of restaurant & shopping options, a weekly Thursday night street festival/market and even a Grocery outlet across the street where we were able to stock up on some low cost snacks/drinks. When checking in the staff saw we were staying for 6 nights so ensured we had a quiet room, away from the street - which was thoughtful and appreciated. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. The pool and pool bar with Happy Hour has us feeling like we were in Mexico. As you can probably tell, my fiancé and I loved our stay and will most definitely be back again!
GGuest UserNice place to stay. It was a short straight forward drive into Palm Springs. Nice quiet location with a great pool. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in a hotel that included a free breakfast. If you want to be in the heart of Palm Springs it isn’t the place to stay but if you want to have a quiet getaway a short distance to town it’s great.
GGuest UserBeautiful, charming and aesthetic renovations to the interiors of the property and pool grounds. However, when you drive up, the exterior could benefit from a fresh coat of paint on the classic, 70s aesthetic rock. If you didn’t know the property had been updated, you would be an off-put. Once inside, the lobby, restaurant and rooms have been redone to a mid-century vibe. The hotel still has a retro vibe and is Instagram-worthy.
Although aesthetics have been updated, the infrastructure remains. I was on the ground floor & could hear the footsteps of guests above walking back and forth in the early morning. Around 3am, I heard those guests or ones next door arriving back to their room. I would choose a higher floor if I returned.
TV uses Apple TV which was annoying having to log in. Finally logged in and it said the tv had to be updated to a newer version. Would be better if they didn’t use this interface and just had commonly used apps everyone could log into like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. I gave up & ended up scrolling my phone at 10pm.
Pool area has a lovely bar I didn’t get to experience, but lots of seating areas, a cornhole area and cabanas and open loungers. Pool ranges from 3-8 feet, nothing huge and was moderately heated for a 10:30am swim. No jacuzzi unfortunately.
Other: Hotel uses Le Labo products. There is an elevator on the property. Free parking onsite. Located at the end of Palm Canyon Dr. so short drive to downtown, but not as walkable is one downside. All in all, great property!
RRachelThe hotel rooms here are incredible! My stay here was so relaxing and comfortable. You'll have to take a car to reach most of the nightlife. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience with the staff they where impatient and when we checked in the lady at the desk was downright rude. Which is a real bummer because the setup of the hotel makes it really hard to find your room without help from a staff member. I know that working with people all day can be tough and I would be happy to give them another chance because everything else was so nice.
丁丁The hotel is a transit station, motel, surrounded by a lot of gas stations, the price of gasoline is high and low, the room is clean, the facilities are OK, the new ones, the breakfast is OK, the American breakfast, not very rich, but simple to eat , parking location
GGuest UserI had to reservation in room 238 and 338 unfortunately someone was trying breaking in my room twice the open the door and 3:00 am I call the front desk and they security was going to addressed the matter never came then the tell again I call my friend that was 338 to come to my room I was really scared this guys on drug approach us and unfortunately there was a lot people hanging out on the doorway doing drugs. They attempted again again call the front desk they said the police it's on way . DIDN'T ARRIVE . Never felt so much fear or experience this situation. No sleep I report to front desk and they said isn't the frist time someone reported this I told look at the carmera the police or no security guard arrive . DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE HAVING ACESS OPENING THE ROOMS
