Travelodge Bristol Central Mitchell Lane

Plus points; great location to city centre, which is what is needed if having a late night out. No need for taxi's/ubers or any other modes of transport. Staff very friendly and willing to help. The downsides; Lots of building work going on around the hotel, which i know isn't their fault. I didn't sleep at all due to mattress just being on the firmer side for me and sane goes for the pillows. What also contributed to the lack of sleep, was the constant noises. Loud talking, thumping footsteps, doors being slammed rather than respectfully closed quietly. This went on for the WHOLE night. The TV remote didn't operate the TV. Had to do so manually like going back to the 70's. One of the most annoying things, after the noise was the key cards to access the room. I had to go back to reception 3 times to get a new card. They gave me 2 new ones on the third attempt, 1 which worked and 1 that didn't. It seems to be a common issue as several other guests had sane problems. Finally something I noticed in the morning were dried blood stains on the wall below the TV. Grim. At this point, I couldn't say for sure whether I'd go back again.

Great service given by Diksha. She is lovely her kindness is unmatchable, she made my day. Hotel is also nice ! Lovely places nearby to hang around with friends and family. Best for value!. Recommend Mitchell Lane Travelodge !!

Great location, shame about the building work outside the hotel and the 24 hour noise from the seagulls but great rooms, helpful staff and reasonable parking fees. We will be coming back.

Had a great stay here! The front desk experience was excellent — Aniket was incredibly polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout. He really made check-in smooth and the whole experience more pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet — exactly what you’d hope for from a solid budget hotel. Only downside was the paid Wi-Fi, which felt a bit outdated in 2025, but everything else more than made up for it. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend, especially if Aniket is on shift!

Stayed at Mitchell Lane Central and was shown very very Good Customer Service by Diksha and Spiros. They made me feel very welcome at the hotel.

Late night ChcekIn it was pleasure to meet kind girl Diksha she have a beautiful smile on her face and she made our checkIn very smooth. Hotel was well maintained neat and clean, room was nice as per the price. Location is great!!
