"Excellent hotel! The rooms are very cozy and bright. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they left us a lovely congratulatory note. They were very quick to respond to all our requests, even providing an iron and ironing board. The service was excellent, and the hotel clearly looks new. Breakfasts are good; at first, they might seem small, but you can always find something to eat. I particularly loved the croissants! As for the downsides, the shower in the bathroom had a poorly designed slope, so there was always a lot of water left on the floor after showering, but they always cleaned it up."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the food in the restaurant offered something for everyone. We really liked the animators, Matija and Isidora. The staff was attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another family vacation."

Rooftop Apartments & Rooms ★★★

📍 Žrtava Fašizma, Budva

"The only positives we can mention are the underground parking and the view from the room, and that's about it. It's hard to find, and the management is never there. The "apartments" are completely bare, not even a kettle: the coffee machine doesn't work, there are no utensils for cooking, the Wi-Fi doesn't work, and the TV doesn't work. The rooms aren't cleaned, and the bathroom stinks. It's okay for a one-night stand, but not for a longer stay. We don't recommend this place."

Apartments Elena Hotels in Budva

"We stayed for 5 nights in Budva at Elena's apartment and had a wonderful experience. We had a room with two balconies (we had breakfast on one, and I did my morning exercises on the other terrace). There was a separate kitchen with a sofa and a bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The location is superb; it's just a couple of minutes to the bus station, and then you can easily buy tickets to Kotor for a day trip. There are shops and cafes nearby, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the promenade. We were pleased with the lush greenery, abundant plants, friendly staff, and the low price in April. There was a coffee machine with capsules. The balconies offered a beautiful view of the mountains. Things to keep in mind: it can be noisy on the balcony due to a nearby music school with children shouting, and a busy road not far away. We lacked some kitchen utensils as we cooked every day. There was no lid for the frying pan or dishcloths for the table. The extractor fan wasn't working, and the bathroom light only worked partially. A toaster was advertised but not present. There's no washing machine in the room; laundry costs an additional 5 euros. There was always a small puddle in the bathroom, probably from a leaking bidet. Despite all the downsides, we were satisfied; it felt very cozy and pleasant, like a home away from home."

"Great value for money. A modest hotel in a convenient location, next to a larger hotel. My friends asked to change rooms because of the sewer smell in the room – they only changed them for 25 euros. Parking is available at the hotel for 20 euros per day. The mattress is OK, the plumbing is OK. It's close to the old town."

Hotel Astoria Hotels in Budva

Hotel Astoria

"This hotel is terrible. They charge a high price, but the facilities kept breaking down while we were staying here. First, the power was tripped, and then the air conditioner broke down. On the last night, the air conditioner broke down all night, and it was hard to sleep all night. The next day, we negotiated with them, but the supervisor made up all kinds of excuses and avoided us."

Hotel Imperial Conference & Spa Hotels in Budva

Hotel Imperial Conference & Spa

"I liked the hotel very much, they organized a meeting at the airport at my request. The room is very clean, cleaning every day. The bed is gorgeous, very comfortable, the pillows are great! I liked everything! I had a superior room with a partial sea view - the balcony has a stunning view of the bay, every morning it was a joy to behold! The room has a coffee maker and tea station, as well as a minibar. Coffee in the morning on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea is just a fairy tale! The breakfasts are great - everything is very tasty, I especially liked the local cheeses! I will definitely stay at this hotel again if the opportunity arises! Thank you for a pleasant stay!"

Dukley Hotel & Resort Hotels in Budva

"We recently had a group of 70 guests staying at Dukley Gardens in Budva, and I can honestly say that everything was phenomenal from beginning to end. The location is absolutely amazing — beautiful surroundings, great atmosphere, and a perfect setting for both relaxation and group travel. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and ideal even for larger groups. What really made the difference was the staff and the level of service. Everything was handled professionally, smoothly, and with great attention to detail, which is extremely important when managing a group of this size. A very special thank you and recognition to Milica and her team. They were outstanding throughout the entire process — professional, responsive, organized, and always ready to help. Their support made the experience truly exceptional. We highly recommend Dukley Gardens and look forward to coming back again with future groups."

Splendid Conference & Spa Resort Hotels in Budva

Splendid Conference & Spa Resort

"We had a really lovely stay at this property. The setting is beautiful, with its own direct access to the beach, which made it incredibly relaxing and convenient. The facilities are fantastic as well—there are three pools to choose from and several saunas, including our personal favorite, the stone sauna, which was a highlight of our stay. A special thank you to the staff for going the extra mile: they kindly provided a birthday cake and champagne for my fiancé as requested. That thoughtful gesture made the celebration even more memorable, and we truly appreciated it. On the downside, we were a bit surprised that there was no complimentary coffee in the room. The Lavazza coffee pods are priced at €2 each, which feels unusual for a hotel of this standard—especially when even many Airbnbs provide coffee free of charge. Overall, a wonderful experience with just a small area for improvement."

Villa Skyprime Hotels in Budva

Villa Skyprime

"Terrible hotel, we booked to stay 3 nights and on the first night was rudely woken by the manager and kicked out “for being loud at 3am” when we was all in bed and sleeping at 11pm! Manager randomly picked our room and blamed us for noise complaints that had nothing to do with us, we argued our case that it wasn’t us but the manager was very disrespectful, impolite and aggressive! We was offered 50% of our money back but only given around 20% in cash yet we only stayed for 1 night! This was outrageous, unprofessional and a horrible way to treat guests! The hotel itself wasn’t the best either it is in a horrible location you have to go through lanes to get there and taxis can’t even reach it, there was no food or bar available at all and not even the vending machines worked, your suitcases would be left unsafe and just stacked in the main hall way by reception for anyone to have access too. Overall do not use this place the hotel is rubbish, the staff were ok but the manager was a disgrace and should be disappointed and ashamed of himself! YOU SHOULD AVOID"

"Very good service, very touching. The front desk manager is super nice, enthusiastic and thoughtful. I accidentally broke a cup, and he crawled under the table to clean up the broken glass. "There aren't a single hook in the bathroom, nowhere to hang towels and robes. The flush button above the toilet isn't properly secured. There's no table on the balcony because the air conditioner in the room next door is installed. The soundproofing is poor! If people leave the room next door in the morning and slam and close the door very loudly, it wakes you up. The same thing happens late at night if guests from the room next door return from a walk."

Mediteran Wellness & Spa, Congress Center Hotels in Budva

Mediteran Wellness & Spa, Congress Center

"It's a pretty good hotel for a beach holiday. Judging by the photos, there are newly renovated rooms—they look beautiful in the photos—and then there are standard rooms (we booked and stayed in a standard room, which is a fairly basic room without major renovations). We had breakfast and dinner—very tasty and filling, with a wide selection and variety of dishes. However, dinner only includes water, with other drinks (even soft drinks) available for an extra charge. Such petty savings are surprising. The water park was closed during our stay. The pools appear to be unheated, but they're invigorating. There are very few sun loungers by the pool (especially those in the shade), and they're often constantly full. The beach is a short walk away. The hotel has its own sun loungers and umbrellas, free for guests. Beach towels are also available, but a deposit is required at reception. There's a bus stop near the hotel, so you can take a bus to Sveti Stefan or Budva. Overall, for a very reasonable price, this is a very good hotel option for a holiday (especially if you value food, which is not a budget option in Montenegro's restaurants)."

Villa Pedja Zec ★★★
"The hostess is wonderful, always ready to help with any situation (for example, you won't have to pay the tourist tax yourself). The location is equally great – about a 7-minute walk to the bus station, and there's a grocery store literally across the street. There's also a good cafe nearby, and you can reach the old town in about 15-20 minutes, yet it's still comfortable and quiet for sleeping at night. The room itself is neat and clean, with daily housekeeping. On your way to the hotel, you'll be accompanied by the street shown in the photo – mountains are everywhere here, so you're sure to enjoy the views!"

Hotel Aleksandar ★★★★
"The hotel is well located within walking distance of the Old Town. There are many restaurants and bars along the way on the promenade. The other side is a street with some food stalls, lots of ice cream and shops. Note that if you need a toilet break along the way you will need to pay 1euro. Check in at reception was quick and someone helped take bags to the room. Reception were generally ok with Kazenegra (I think that is how to spell it) being the most helpful. However, sometimes you had to ask staff numerous time to get help. If something goes wrong in the room and you need the maintenance team, don’t expect a speedy response, if at all. They were a big let down to the hotel and annoying beyond belief by their lack of effort to actually fix the problems. I am sure the one chap was saying that I needed to go and buy some batteries from the market to fix the issue with the safe. I think not! The rooms were modern, beds were comfy with a good adjacent wash room, toilet and shower. There is a fridge in the room and modern TV. Not all rooms have balconies. The rooms were not regularly cleaned, only every few days. Towels were changed and would be on request too. The bed linen was not changed in the 10 days of the stay. However, the cleaners were friendly and helpful if you needed anything. The restaurant was usually busy, so best to get there early or late. If late the food could be cold and most of it gone. The restaurant staff were very efficient and helpful. Unfortunately all the meals on every day consisted of the same dishes, with no variety. Also, it is predominantly meat or fish. So, if you are a vegetarian you may well starve :-) - vegans definitely will. Some themed nights would be good. The show cooking is little more then watching them cook the same dishes. When asked for a custom made omelette I was pointed to pre-prepared ones (a flat egg), so this could be better. Half-board was reasonable but considering the limitations of the food, all inclusive seemed to be over-priced and would be disappointing. There are juices and coffee available for breakfast, but only water for dinner. So you either have to buy drinks or they will be in the AI package. Drinks have to come from a different bar too, but it appears to be waiter service. There are a few pools in the hotel. A smaller one (I think mainly for the AI guests) is near reception and gets busy. The two other ones are nearer the beach. These were relatively quiet and never any problems getting sun bed (less than a quarter being used). There is a bar there too, the bar man was very friendly and helpful. Prices in the hotel are quite high though. The hotel has a beach area but you have to pay 10 euros for two sunbeds per day. The gym is also extra (5 euros per person per day). There are a few shops in the complex. They also seem quite pricey as there are a few supermarkets just outside the hotel along the main road. They were reasonable with IDEA being the best value for money. The"

"Toilet is not clean with the gap between the tiles are black brown & yellowish.. only shower soap is provided, who still uses a soap in 2026.. the bottle of the conditioner is also very dirty as shown in the photo. Shower gel is only provided after I request from the staff, and the staff forgot to send it and I only got it the next day.. Check in wasn’t smooth as the staff is not in the room, hotel is in the 6th floor, I’ve no access to the 6th floor until i called the apartment WhatsApp and the staff approached me at the ground floor. "There are no words! The hotel is simply gorgeous. Upon arrival, we were met by friendly staff with drinks and treats. We were immediately checked into a room, although we arrived at 12 noon. The room is amazing. We have been to many hotels, but this one exceeded all our expectations! A spacious, stylish room with a fresh renovation. This is not even a room, but an entire apartment with all the amenities. We were pleased with the large, comfortable bed and blackout curtains. The beach is probably the best we have seen in Budva, located on Mogren 2, clean water, comfortable sun loungers, staff who are happy to fulfill all your requests. For extreme sports enthusiasts, there are places for jumping from a cliff into the water (from 5 to 20 meters). A small minus is the road that takes 10-15 minutes on foot, but it's worth it (the road passes by the old town where there are many restaurants and shops). The location is very convenient. Everything is within walking distance. Good and varied spa. But regarding the hall - we thought it would be bigger. Breakfasts - the hotel provides a menu, not a buffet. They are delicious, but there is not much choice. Special thanks to the staff, especially Deniz. All our requests and wishes were fulfilled immediately. Everyone is very friendly and responsive."

"Great hotel, cleanliness at the highest level, spacious rooms, large balcony, close to the center and the old town, very good breakfast. The only thing you should bear in mind is that the private parking lot, which is in a small garage of the hotel, has more spaces than the number of rooms, so some guests had nowhere to park or blocked other cars, and then there was a problem with leaving the parking lot."

"Our room wasn’t ready so they told us if we left our bags with them it would be safe . When we got back, our wallet and IPAD had been stolen and they said it was our fault . They wouldn’t help us call the police ( insisted the police would not come ) and when we asked to see the security camera , they kept blocking it . We had a tracker on the IPAD and it showed it was at a bar , and we had a charge there, but the hotel wouldn’t help us or take responsibility. We spent the rest of our vacation cancelling cards , blocking bank accounts- it was a mess . Obviously this is not a safe hotel to keep your things from being stolen . Beware !! Stay anywhere else . ( Plus it’s too far from the beach )."
