Overall good spacious rooms, good breakfast spread and a nice pool area and we would have had a great trip only if it had thinner pillows. Unfortunately the hotel only had one type of pillows and they were quite thick and difficult for us to sleep comfortably and that spoilt a bit of the experience. That's the reason to cut one star from amenities. We had a great city view room and picture shows the view with the cairo tower .
Certainly! Here's the updated review:

Staying at the Marriott in Cairo was an exceptional experience. The location is unbeatable, situated right next to the Nile River, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The swimming pool is great, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The gym is fantastic, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater to all fitness needs.
The customer service is top-notch, with the reception staff being particularly super helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Our two kids really enjoyed the stay as well, which made our visit even more memorable. Simply the best in Cairo—highly recommend and we will definitely visit again!

The hotel is in a good location, by the beautiful Nile River, about 2 kilometers from the city center. The room is clean, there is no toothbrush, disposable slippers, and the plug needs to be converted to European standards. Most hotels in Cairo are relatively old, so don't be too demanding, just be happy staying here 😊

For the price we paid for three rooms at over US$100 a night and considering it was a Hilton we were extremely disappointed in the rooms. The lobby looked promising, and the staff was very nice. However, the rooms looked borderline ******* and did not feel super clean. There were weird hallways and random rooms that we had to walk into before going into the hotel room itself well the staff was amazing. I cannot say that it is Hilton standard or quality and was extremely disappointed. Considering Hilton is a worldwide brand.
I booked two single beds on Ctrip, but was given a double bed. Later the hotel stressed that there were no single beds, so I had to share a room with my friends. I stayed in a 4-person room, and breakfast was provided. The room was on a high floor, and I had to climb one flight of stairs. The room was relatively large with a balcony, but there was only one bathroom, so we took turns to wash, and the water flow was not strong. The bedding was pilling, and the air conditioning did not heat well. The view was wide, and there was a school downstairs. It was also close to my embassy. The breakfast had a rich variety of juice, coffee, yogurt, milk, bread, and soup. The service staff was polite and responded quickly to the luggage. They also cared about the next stop. I hope Ctrip can do a good job of docking next time.
I had a sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything including floors, beds and bed linen, the bathroom, toilet and shower, was super clean. The shower has good water pressure. The bed was very firm.. Everything worked. The location is really good.
You don't feel like you're staying in a modern 5 star hotel, but for the money this is a very good hotel.
Nice room and nice staff. The surrounding is good but a bit noisy at night. There are also some nice restaurants near the hotel. In general, the hotel is a good choice for visitors to stay.
Loved this hotel! The prime location made exploring easy, the staff were always welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were impeccably clean. A special thanks to Mr. Samh Johar making our stay extra special. A perfect spot for any traveler!”
The hotel seems to be relatively new and is all in all very well maintained. The facilities are fine and you have everything you need. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The location in Zamelek is first class.
Single-glazed windows meant that as a light sleeper I could only sleep with earplugs.
Many guests care about the quality of the rooms they stay in and want to ensure that their rooms have fresh, clean air.
