What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

The location is perfect by the Nile River. The staff are very warm and friendly. The atmosphere is much better than the Ritz-Carlton where we stayed before. Especially the way into the hotel, I felt like a small French-style kingdom, isolated from the chaos outside. Got it

Semiramis Intercontinntal is the best IHG properties. Every time I stay at this hotel my loyalty to IHG increase. It has a great local ion facing the Nile river and located at the center of Cairo. All hotel staff are professional and very friendly which makes you feel that you are at your home with your family. Room size is large and very clean. On top of that, the hotel is taking all hygiene measures into account. When it comes to the food, the hotel have many choices and all are having a great taste. Semiramis Intercontinental is positively way far than many of IHG other properties. At the end I would like to send special thank to Mr. Mohamed Senousi, Mr, Mahmoud Yahya, Mr. Gergis Mikhael, Mr. Michel Yacoub, Mr. Hassan Mohammed ( Night & Day Restaurant) and Mr. Ehab Fawzy.

If we consider Egyptian standards, this hotel in Cairo is probably one of the best. If we refer to the European standards of 5-star Kempinski hotels, there would be a lot to correct. From the fact that the staff should respects privacy (they just walk into the room, while I were naked going to shower and then leave, without apologizing and laughing loudly), to the fact that there is a glass screen in the shower (same in 3 different rooms) leaking water, floods the bathroom or, say, the security service harassing you at 2 in the morning because of a ”suspicious” item in the suitcase, although the same thing was in the suitcase of the previous two arrivals and no one paid attention (it was a steam iron). In general, the staff is forced to be polite and they are very slow. Just a very kind restaurant receptionist and one nice waiter in Osman restaurant. I believe that this is the maximum that Kempinski manages to achieve in terms of its own standards considering the mentality of Egypt.

My wife and I had a quick, 24-hour layover in Cairo and wanted to see the pyramids and sphinx and relax before a long trip home. The Four Seasons delivered in all possible ways. Concierge arranged to pick us up at the airport (flying in from Sharm El Sheikh) and then checked us in to our room, all before 9:30 am. We then had time to freshen up, enjoy a relaxed breakfast, and then meet our driver and tour guide for a trip to the sites. Our driver for the tour and also for the round trip to and from the airport was Mohsen Ahmed, and he was wonderful. Our tour guide, Ash Saad Saghloul, was also outstanding. Both gents took very good care of us, didn't rush at any point, and left any additional side trips (for shopping) completely up to us. Had us back to the hotel early in the afternoon so we could relax. We then had an early dinner at 8, which was as good as reviews have made it out to be (and, yes, we had dim sum and Chinese food overlooking the Nile as our farewell dinner to Egypt). Our room was very comfortable and the views of the Nile and the Pyramids from our balcony made it all feel very special. All said, it was a perfect 24 hours in Cairo and just what we wanted. Thanks to all at the Four Seasons for making that happen and making it so easy and comfortable.

Hotel is nearby to Qasr El Nile. One of the most affordable hotel compared to the rest sitting on Nile River. Room is nice with Cairo Tower view. But the wifi connection in room is very poor, same with room service, no one answered the calls, either it was purposely disconnected (wasnt sure about this) or the phone picked up and left unanswered (you literally could hear the staffs talking and laughing on the background).

General impression - a normal place to stay for a few nights. Perfect location nearby Egyptian Museum and the Sadat subway station. But this causes a very noisy surrounding: honking cars move just beneath the windows all day long. Helpful staff. A very nice cafe La Poire accessible without leaving the building. Good breakfast, a lot of options changing daily. Coffee could have been better though. The room was cleaned (I moved two beds together and found no dust underneath), but it's quite weary. The window lock didn't work, the fridge was loud. Black mold in the shower was upsetting, too. No iron nor ironing board in the room, but ironing service available at a reasonable price about 50 EGP per piece.

There is no elevator to the lobby reception on the second floor, and heavy luggage is lifted by stairs. It's so compact that you can't even move in the toilet or shower room. It can be said that it is in the city center near the Nairo River, but I had a hard time finding dinner on Shatter Street.

One of the best stays. The service is amazing. The gym has the most amazing view of the Nile river. The staff is very attentive and make sure you have a luxurious stay. Our room had the Nile view and was on the 14th floor. The hotel gets busy in the evenings. The hotel has the best food and also it has a lot of food joints opposite the road which requires 20 EP.

Like: Concierge 💁‍♀️ is really pleasant and cordial. Same with adjacent restaurant staff. Clean bathroom and room. I was concerned checking in here on how clean the room would be based on past reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The view from my room was of the Nile which was really cool! Outlets near the bed (win!) to charge phones. Quiet hotel overall in terms of other guests. Dislike 👎: Oh gosh. So much unfortunately. I think the staff tries but they miss the mark. An English language barrier is still really apparent, which means my leftovers I left at the front desk the previous night got thrown away. At initial room check-in, there isn’t even a full toilet roll given. I mean, really?! The towels are the WORST I’ve ever had in a budget hotel. Thin and stringy and barely cover oneself (and I’m slender!). I ran out of toilet roll and told the front desk in the AM… still nothing there I got back to the room in the evening. And had to call the front desk TWICE to finally get it 👎There should be more opaque curtains for the windows as light comes streaming in early. There is no window double-glazing so the dulled roar of traffic is clearly heard outside (I was in room 808). The bed is pretty hard, as are the pillows. thin top coverlet (but duvets in the closet). Finally, Wifi was pretty slow and upload speed awful- and I had the best wifi it seems compared to others who had none or abysmal. No hot shower water later in the AM and only a bit warmer in the PM. The included breakfast is ok: an omelette option and some cakey bread; coffee; tea; OJ. The accompanying restaurant has some hit or miss food: I loved the eskander beans as it was a stew; the dolma was pretty bland. One of my fellow group members said her green soup was terrible. Service was very slow and food took ages to arrive. The location is far from Coptic or Islamic Cairo sites.

The location is really central, right opposite the Egypt Museum and can be found easily on Uber. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the hospitality of the owners who were always willing to help and chat with us about what we needed or where we wanted to go. Very appreciative of them for that! The room is comfortable enough with working AC and good size bathroom, but be prepared for the noise of traffic from outside as it’s close to a main road. Wifi also didn’t connect well in our room but maybe better for others. Breakfast is simple and more Egyptian/Arabic in style with pita, falafel, cheese and eggs + juice box.

In the old building in Liberation Square, the traffic at the door is not convenient, and the driver is hard to find. The first time I arrived, I moved my luggage to the third floor, and then I got the elevator keys. The room facilities are average, and the windows are noisy. This ”hotel” is a scam. It is a room in an empty derelict building. The front entrance is wide open. There is no reception or security. It is not a hotel although comes up in a search for a hotel. I was fooled by the name ”Cairo Dream Boutique Hotel”. It is a nightmare. There was a poor looking guy sitting on a chair outside the building. By western standards, this place was worse than scary. I booked this accommodation on ******* and all nights needed to be paid up front (unusual). I arrived late at night. A guy in an old dirty car picked me up at the airport and he was the ”hotel transfer”. That was the first red flag. He was parked at least a 10 minute walk from the airport. On the way to the address, driver wanted to stop the car for gas . . . I was asked if I would like some food in my room. They would arrange for something to be delivered. By now I was starting to get worried and asking if it was a real hotel. I did not get a straight answer. When we arrived it was off the main area of traffic in a dark street. The door to the building was wide open. There was no one around. The building sounded empty and hollow. Curious and trying to not base everything on western standards, I went to the room. Then when we got to the floor still no one around. The hallway was dark. The driver opened the door of the room. It was also dark with a dim bulb lit. I saw two beds but it was so dark I could barely make out what was in the room. I did not go in - I was afraid of being alone with driver and being raped in the room. The pictures on the ******* website are fake. They show beds with white linen and furniture. There was only two beds in the room next to the wall. Windows were wide open over the bed. The elevator did not work to go down and I ran down 7 flights of stairs with my bag. I could not get out of there fast enough. It was almost midnight and I just wanted to go back to the airport. The person who registered this site with ******* was fully paid for each night booked. When they were contacted by ******* they said that I did not ”check in” and therefore not eligible for a refund. Frightening experience and set the tone for the rest of my visit to Cairo. To be aware, and that there are no regulations. People can fool authorities and be certified to list with fake pictures of an accommodation. I am a seasoned traveler and have traveled through the middle east a lot - this location was the worst - an area I would not walk through - let alone stay in. I appreciate everyone needs to make a living, but the name of this accommodation and the website are completely misleading. A complete scam. I lost my trust in everything and everyone from that point including booking sites. Will be doing my research with regard to reviews and stick to a chain hotel for arrival. Then visually inspect a potential accommodation after arrival.
