"I had a wonderful stay at Sayed Effendi Hotel in Downtown Cairo. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their dedication and hard work truly reflect their commitment to providing guests with an exceptional experience.
One of the things I appreciated most was the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms and corridors were always spotless, and the pleasant scent throughout the property added a very refreshing touch.
The breakfast experience was also a highlight. Enjoying a delicious breakfast on the terrace, along with the beautiful Cairo weather, made for a perfect start to the day.

"We stayed at this hotel for three days to see the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Cairo. The hotel is perfectly suited for these purposes.
The hotel's location isn't a tourist area, but there's no crime in the neighborhood (ignoring the pushy touts for the bazaars). The streets are typically dusty, as is common in Eastern cities.
The hotel is on the top floor of a residential building, which conveniently has a chain grocery store and a spice/oil shop.
There's a beautiful view of the pyramids from the roof. We were given a parking spot for our car (75 pounds per night), although it was a parking spot only in the loosest sense.
The furniture in the hotel is dated, but overall the rooms are decent for a night's sleep and breakfast. Breakfast included snacks, an omelet, and instant coffee.
If you're a solo traveler and aren't expecting luxury for a modest price, this is a pretty good option for a 2-3 night stay to see the sights of Giza and Cairo before moving on."
