Booked for a friend. Although the price is high, the experience is great. Very good. Worth the trip. The first choice hotel for free travel

We only went here for dinner but my word, on arrival we were all taken back by how picturesque it is. Like a scene out of a James Bond movie. We shall definitely be back to stay here some time. Food and service were top notch and prices were fair too. A very romantic place to have dinner.

My partner and I visited Cap Rocat yesterday with my sister and her husband, who had previously praised the hotel and its Sea Club, where we were booked for lunch. The grounds were stunning, but the overall experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were told to wait for a buggy to the Sea Club. When it arrived, another guest demanded it, and the attendant gave it to her, leaving us to wait for the next one. At the Sea Club, we ordered paella, but the waiter left it partially uncovered, allowing a bird to land on it. He insisted it was still fine to eat, and only after we requested it did they bring a new dish. After lunch, when we requested a buggy back, another couple rudely tried to take it, and though we protested, the attendant again did nothing to help. This time, we managed to keep our buggy. When we arrived at the reception, we were told we couldn’t sit at the bar while waiting for our taxi and had to stand outside, despite having spent 400 euros on lunch. Ironically, we saw other non-guests walk right in. The only apparent difference between us and them was race. As a mixed-ethnicity group, we experienced several microaggressions and biases at Cap Rocat. In 2024, this behavior is unacceptable. Please do better.

A stunning site, beautifully designed and kept up. Wonderful staff. Friendly and yet not familiar. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Lovely details like the cookies from a nearby convent and the herbal tea that comes with the turn down service. The Sea Club ( restaurant) is an experience in its own right, for lunch or dinner.

On arrival I was asked if I had allergies, to which I replied fish. On arriving at my room, there was welcome tapas, one which I assumed was chicken as they had asked us about allergies and ate but was actually tuna. I was violently sick. On raising with management, I was told that the tuna had already been taken to the room on our arrival and before we were asked about allergies, so they just left it there! I really couldn’t believe what I was hearing. If you are looking for an incredible building with breathtaking views and willing to pay top end prices for it, then you may be interested. But that’s where the luxury stops, this is a 3 star hotel, living in a 5 star venue. I fear this hotel is going backwards, the service was just too poor and there were too many problems to mention, so we left early. They have not dealt with our complaint and think it’s perfectly fine that they served us fish after I told them I had an allergy. We stayed in 2 other hotels whilst in Mallorca. Puro Grand in Palma and Sa Pedrissa in Deia. Both these hotels were absolutely superb and of a much better standard than Cap Rocat, at a fraction of the cost. Do not waste your time or money.

A really disappointing honeymoon. We had high expectations for Cap Rocat, which unfortunately they didn’t live up to. There were a lot of problems, but will outline the good and the bad. We stayed in room 12 (Sentinels Suite) The good: The staff were friendly and polite The room and grounds were stunning The bad: On arrival we were congratulated on our marriage by name as we were walking to the courtyard. We were then asked by the on duty manager if we had any dietary requirements/allergies. My husband is allergic to fish. My husband and I thought ‘wow’ if this was the level of detail we were going to receive, we would have had the best times of our lives. We had a welcome drink, then was escorted to our room. On arrival there was no recognition/note to congratulate us on our wedding (something we had in the previous 2 hotels on the island) but didn’t think too much into that. There was a bottle of cava and small tapas plate with a variety of snacks. We took them outside our suite. My husband and I started eating the food, there was a skewer with olives, peppers and what looked like chicken. He said ‘Do you think this is fish’ I said ‘it can’t be. She asked if we had any allergies’ Upon putting it in the mouth, my husband realises it was fish. Immediately ran up to bathroom whilst vomiting. I had to run behind him to get his EpiPen After what seems like forever, luckily he was just about ok and didn’t need to go to hospital. We called the concierge who came to take the dish away. There wasn’t an apology, nor a replacement. I had to call them for a replacement, to which on return was all of the other dishes (without a dish substitute’ Hotel response: It was already in your room when you were having a welcome drink in the courtyard. Was too late to change it. At minimum they should have said ‘please don’t eat x dish’ or ‘please leave it as there is fish’. Determined to move on and enjoy our honeymoon, we sat out on the patio relaxing in the pool. Unfortunately the rooms are quite noisy with party boats passing very close by all day, everyday. Docking less that 30m from our room blasting music. I understand the hotel cannot control the boats, but at least make us aware that staying in the most expensive suite at the hotel there is noise pollution and minimal privacy as you have boats and people waving at you. We’d have booked somewhere quieter. There were other issues with missing breakfast items, broken glass left on the patio, turn down service, no ironing board, long waits during dinner, waking us up at 10am with a call, asking for things to the room and the wrong things being delivered plus various others. The on duty manager we expressed this to on our 3rd day didn’t get back to us, so we had to call the new on duty manager to explain the whole situation again. We wanted to check out that day, as it was just one thing after another of inconsistencies in standards. Guillermo (who was the manager we dealt with) refused to allow us to

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Cap Rocat. The service was a lovely experience throughout the entire hotel. The rooms were a nice size and so clean and comfortable. The breakfast and all of the restaurants were amazing. We so enjoyed our time by the pool as well as at the spa. We would love to go again.

As we drove off my wife said ‘best hotel I’ve ever been too!’ It was very special - venue is jaw dropping / seaside restaurant magical / breakfasts by the fire lovely, but the best thing by far was the people working there. Kind, funny, classy, excellent at their jobs - just great. Thank you.
