We stayed at the Talayot from the 30th September 2024 to the 7th of October 2024, and had an incredible experience, we stayed in a junior suite and the room was incredible, we had a stunning view of the sunset over the mountains from our balcony, which we could also view from the bath in our room. The reception staff were efficient and explained things well they were very knowledgeable and happy to organise taxi's or recommend somewhere to go. The Italian girl who greeted us was excellent at her job we'd had a rocky start at the airport and she helped smooth things where the tour company left us flagging. Nothing was to much trouble, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, Enrique in the restaurant deserves a special mention, he was on the ball and had our plates cleared quickly and was quick to help when we needed it. He also realised I like extra napkins and would bring me extras without the need to ask. I hope he enjoyed his days off they were well deserved, he never seemed to stop, nice to see such a good work ethic in someone so young. The suite was kept tidy and we had the option to not have the room cleaned everyday if we preferred, every night our pj's were folded and left by our pillow ready for us to retire. The spa! Sigh I miss the spa the most, their hydrotherapy pools were so good, and my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed using it. We also had a couples massage, unfortunately we didn't catch the girls names, but they were very professional and made us feel very relaxed and chilled. If you can go for it. There was a good selection of food at every meal (we were fully inclusive) there was breakfast for every taste, I particularly enjoyed the fresh made omelet every morning, but the quality of the fresh produce was excellent. The desserts weren't as amazing, they did taste a little artificial and the ice-cream left a lot to be desired, but the freshly grilled meats and fish, the buffet selection and salad meant we didn't go without. The pool area and bar were clean, staffing was a bit hit and miss here and sometimes you had to wait for someone to come out to serve you as they were also working in other sections of the hotel, the pump for the fizzy drinks wasn't working while we were there so if we wanted a Pepsi it wasn't possible unless the chill out bar was open, then you had to go in and up a floor which was a pain. There was an older gentleman serving in the chill out bar, he was so sweet and when the bar was very busy and he was on his own he did his best to be fair and not keep people waiting to be served, which when he was doing fancy coffee's cocktails and basic bar drinks all at the same time was a feat to watch indeed. We really enjoyed our stay at Talayot it is in a very good location, very central and if you have mobility issues is in a very flat area, the walkways are clean. There are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can eat or drink with plenty of choice from an Indian to a Thai rig

We got the early flight from Leeds Bradford. Arrived and got the transfer. We arrived at the hotel and they started checking us in but said there's 20 mins left of lunch so here's your card (you show this everytime you get a drink or go to the restaurant). The reviews made us worry but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel isn't huge so the amount of variety mets the size of hotel. The room was on the 5th floor on the side and wrapped around the side and back. We could see the sea both sides and the large pool at the back. The room was clean and modern. Lots of hangers and a little drinks fridge, double shower. Only downside we wanted a double but the pushed 2 3/4 beds together. However that's fairly normal abroad n didn't spoil anything. We got up late most mornings and there was still sunbeds. We didn't go on the rooftop terrace to sunbathe as there was people who would wait an hour or so we heard to get a bed which opened at 9.30am. We were satisfied with the other pool and the relaxed atmosphere around the pool. No screaming kids. A variety of ages, lots of couples but some friends also. Some music but not loud. My partner would have had it louder but it was just right for me. The bar serves all drinks. The local wine wasn't great, you can pay more for a better brand but we like lager and the amstel was good. We paid a few times for cocktails which were nice, some places include some cocktails on all inclusive so depends what your expecting. Staff were polite, the male bar staff more so. The food got so badly rated we were dreading what it would be like. We needen have worried. Breakfast all the pastries, cakes, fruit, cava for a bucksfizz if your wanting that. Full English for us English. That included English sausages, streaky bacon, beans, plumb tomatoes, hash browns, eggs. All continental cheeses, meats and veg, breads etc. Icecreams you have to pay for. Lunch had again all the salads, cous cous, meats and cheeses, crusty breads, things like chips, stroganoff, cooked fish, chops, chicken. Pasta dishes. Some were better than others but we really didn't know what all the complaints were about. There was also burgers n large sausages n rolls Evening meal chilli con carne, chicken cooked fresh as well as fish, chops, chips, potato crochets, veal chasseur, rice, mash, paella, veg lasagne, sometimes the options were a little of a mish mash but there was plenty to eat and kept coming. We really enjoyed it. You could help yourself to all the drinks, wine on tap, lager, sangria and all cold drinks We had a lovely relaxing week. We loved it and would definitely go back again. Ignor the moaners it's a great hotel

A good first experience of all inclusive and sun. Check in was easy, we booked a double room with Jet2 as that was the only available option. On arrival we requested twin beds as that was our preference. I thought we’d have to wait for a room to be prepared but she booked us into a twin room. We were given a card which entitled us to 25% off a treatment in the spa as hotel guests. (We didn’t use the spa facilities in the end). On entering the room there was a strong fishy smell. The smell cleared once the door was open for a short while. This smell returned a few times during our 5 night stay, and was noticeably stronger if we had been out all day. We put this down to us not using the shower and sink. It wasn’t enough of an inconvenience to justify complaining about. Our room was lovely and we had a nice view despite not choosing a sea view room. Beds were made daily but not changed. Towels weren’t changed but we didn’t ask. Food options were good, as a vegetarian I managed to eat well. There were some items that weren’t labelled and unless they were obviously vegetarian (carrots, sweetcorn etc), I wouldn’t eat them. On one evening they had a vegetable pastry type thing that my non vegetarian friend enjoyed. The next night there was an identical looking pastry which my friend ate. Thankfully I didn’t pick one up as this time it contained meat. They also had an apple pie that hadn’t fully defrosted. Most of it was there the next evening with some fruit and fibre type cereal thrown on it. I’m assuming this was to make it look more interesting or fresh? It did make me wonder how much of the food was from previous days, however I appreciate them trying to prevent food waste. Neither of us were unwell as a result so I guess this is a positive. Gym was free to use and accessible 24 hours. It had basic equipment but enough for a decent workout whilst on holiday. We didn’t sit by the infinity pool during the day but there were always sun beds available at the rear of the hotel. It was a bit more private than some of the other hotels we walked past which we liked. Drinks made at the bar in the evening were extremely strong and borderline un drinkable. We weren’t there to get drunk, we just wanted to enjoy a nice drink in the evening. We ended up getting most of our drinks elsewhere. For this reason, plus the amount of bars and restaurants in the area, we wish we hadn’t gone all inclusive. On most days we missed afternoon snacks and lunch as we were exploring the area. We also had to pay a supplement for cocktails which is acceptable if they were drinkable. There also wasn’t much atmosphere. Music was quiet if there was any, and singers were okay. Most of the time you could just hear people talking. Nice if you need an early night. Staff were helpful and very polite. Would return if we were looking to stay in the area again.

Upon reading reviews before our stay, we were a little apprehensive, however, our stay exceeded our expectations and we had an amazing time at this hotel. The hotel is situated directly on the beach front, which definitely made our experience. All staff were lovely, friendly & welcoming. We had an early morning flight so arrived just after 12pm, and we were given a room straight away. The room was spotless, very modern with a great balcony and lovely views. One negative I’d add is we had to request for clean towels in our room, ours were visibly dirty with makeup marks on them, and they were not changed. However, the staff at reception were apologetic enough and we received fresh towels. We also had a slight maintenance issue in our room, the sink table top come off the wall slightly, the screws seemed to be loose, however the sink was fixed back on the wall within the next 15 minutes from us reporting it which was fantastic, we had no further issues. The food was great, lots of variety including various types of meat, fish, pastas, paella, rice, salad etc. We felt it catered for all, a good all inclusive. The desserts were not the best, there didn’t seem to be much variety or choice, however on the beach front, there was a variety of ice cream stalls which was amazing. The all inclusive range of drinks menu was great, a large selection was offered. A slight surcharge for cocktails, which we knew before going via reading the reviews, but we were happy enough to pay the extra. They were amazing. During the day, it was relaxing and peaceful, the hotel seemed very quiet. The reviews prior to our stay said it was a battle to get the bigger sun loungers by the infinity pool, however, there was a slight queue at 9am but we managed to get beds there everyday of our visit. The other pool was still good, they had music on which made the atmosphere feel a bit more lively opposed to the top area with the infinity pool which felt more quiet. We preferred the infinity pool area as a young couple. Evening entertainment lacked slightly, a live singer performed every other night, and they finished at about 11pm. However, we were happy to take a walk down to the beach front and walk along there in the evenings. There was a variety of restaurants/bars, it was lively and had a good atmosphere. The beaches were lovely, clear sea and soft sand, it got busy quickly, so I recommend heading down there in the morning. 2 loungers and a parasol was 14Euro. I’d recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We had an amazing time and would definitely go back.

What a fabulous hotel!! The staff were super helpful and friendly. The bedroom decor was superb and the beds were really comfortable. The food at breakfast was the same each day but offered a wide variety to suit everyone. The location is spot on. Both pool areas were great although it was a bit harder to get beds at the first floor pool. I can’t wait to come back again. Top marks overall

Very comfortable bed and shower. Everything from food, to comfort to staff friendliness and professionalism was top notch. We were there on a 3 days couple getaway. And we had the most relaxing time. We loved the infinity pool and the pool bar.
