This 10 room country side hotel is located about 4 kilometers outside of Calda de Reis. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The common area was nicely decorated and comfortable. Our room (#2) was big enough, comfortable and quiet. The only minor issue is that it took more than 10 min. for the shower water to heat up.. We also ate dinner at the hotel and the food was very good.

Absolutely beautifully restored country home that welcomes you with charming and extraordinarily clean and comfortable rooms, lovely gardens and amazing staff. You must stay for dinner as Pablo (chef) and Ruben (waiter) offer a dining experience not to be missed. Vanessa offered me tea in the afternoon by the pool and did my laundry!

I’m not sure what I enjoyed more here, the accommodations or the food, because both were excellent. Marian, the proprietor/hostess, professionally and efficiently attends to every detail. The grounds are beautiful, dinner by Miguel delicious (ditto for breakfast), and my room quiet and comfortable. We were pampered pilgrims for two nights! The hotel is located a short drive off the Camino Português.

Casa A Pedreira es una casa preciosa muy aislada y muy relajante a varios kilómetros del Camino de Santiago que pasa por Caldas de Reis. Creo conveniente mencionarlo debido a que a nosotras nos pilló por sorpresa su ubicación. Es una casa decorada con muchísimo gusto (recuerda al diseño portugués) y presenta una cocina cuyas preparaciones varían según el día y los ingredientes; dependen del chef. Todo lo que cenamos estaba riquísimo. Estuvimos a gusto y las habitaciones invitan al descanso. El desayuno es muy completo y muy rico, y el comedor donde se hacen las comidas es maravilloso ya sea para el día o para la noche; con lluvia o con sol. Destacaría también, no obstante, cierta dificultad para contactar con el hotel en varias ocasiones, lo que “desampara” un poco al cliente. En definitiva, muy alejado del bullicio, pero en nuestro caso quizás demasiado. Pero la estancia fue muy relajante y muy apacible.

La piscina deliciosa, el agua en la ducha con excelente temperatura y presión. El servicio de Marian y la cocina de Pablo es espectacular . Un oasis en el Camino de Santiago. Volvería solo a hospedarme aquí más tiempo. El hotel precioso.

El sitio es mágico, con mucha paz. Un silencio que pocas veces se consigue. La habitación es muy acogedora, desayunos y cena muy ricos con un toque de elegancia e únicos. Nos han sentido sentir como en casa ya que su personal son muy atento y cercanos. Sin duda volveremos.

El pasado domingo asistí a una comunión en esta casa rural, y quedamos muy decepcionados con el trato de Marián, no nos sentimos a gusto, y eso que todos nos portamos de diez tanto niños como adultos, a pesar de lo q ella pueda decir los niños se portaron de diez estuvieron todo el tiempo con Lis monitores salvo en el momento de comer pero estuvimos un adulto con ellos en todo momento y se comportaron correctamente, Marián tiene un problema de distorsión de la realidad, más le valdría ser más humilde, pedir disculpas y dar las gracias que ni eso sabe hacer, la música era un dj que ella dice que retumbaban los cristales, perdona pero no era la orquesta Panorama, era un di con un altavoz. Los cambios que se solicitaron que fue cambiar una carne por un pescado y un adulto x un menú infantil se hizo con días de antelación y no en el momento como dice ella, lamento Marián tener q llegar a esta situación pero no me dejas otra opción yo solo quería olvidar lo sucedido, pasar pagina y quedarme con lo bueno pero con tus mentiras me resulta imposible.
