Seashell Suites and Villas- Candolim Goa

We enjoyed our stay very much: family-run hotel, very friendly staff, big room with comfortable bed, nice pool area, everything very clean. Our personal highlight was the rooftop restaurant with wonderful food and of course chef Nikin's cooking lesson.

I stayed at Seashell Suites and Villas for 7 nights, and it truly felt like a luxury home away from home. The welcome was absolutely luxurious, and the room was big and well-appointed, a true suite. The amenities were great, and the resort boasts three swimming pools, ranging from a bit more busy to the tranquil and quiet one at the bottom of the resort. It's only a 10-minute walk from the beach, which is perfect for a quick stroll anytime. The prime location is surrounded by many restaurants, shops, and bars. Housekeeping was very efficient, with Hari and Surya standing out for their exceptional service. Breakfast was amazing, with ample choice and great service from Silvia and Kim, especially ***** with Utam and Omkar. Although I couldn't remember everyone's names, they were all good. The breakfast provided had a great variety, ensuring that every guest found something to their liking. The owners, Shelly and Royston, were present at every breakfast, ensuring all guests were looked after. It felt like we were at their home having breakfast, and they were being perfect hosts. The Director, Sanjay, was also at each breakfast on his working days and joined Shelly and Royston in making sure every guest had a wonderful experience. The Chef, Nitin, was very attentive and ensured everyone had food that suited their taste. The security staff were very attentive and ensured the guests' security. I appreciated how private the hotel was, which contributed to a sense of safety and exclusivity. I felt totally at home, and the way reception staff received me every time I went out and came back was like family members welcoming us. This personalised service made the stay even more memorable. Ashish played a crucial role in making all of my arrangements post-booking and pre-arrival, ensuring that everything was in place for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Saurabh welcomed us warmly on the first day, setting the tone for our entire stay. We loved the place so much that we are definitely returning, and this resort will be our home away from home on every visit to Goa. From our arrival right through to departure, nothing was any trouble. We wanted for nothing. Everything was just how we would want it to be, and everything was done with a willing attitude and a warm, friendly smile. You will read in most reviews about how Mr. Shelly visits each breakfast table and chats with each guest to check if they are fully satisfied with every element of their stay - this is no 'stunt' - this is a *** passionate about providing real hospitality, albeit commercialy, in a homely, personable fashion. He genuinely reviews his business every single morning. It becomes evident after just a few days just how much the entire team respect and admire their Mr. Shelly and they follow his guidance and queues, encouraged as they are to respectfully engage with the hotel guests. The food (breakfast and evening meals) are wonderful, a very wide menu selection for breakfast, we also enjoyed the roof-terrace restaurant mixed tandoori platter one evening and fresh tiger prawns sourced by prior arrangement with the chef (Nitin) for a special dinner. From owners, managers, front of house reception, servers, and bar tenders through to gardeners and porters, everyone was so warm and friendly throughout our entire stay. Ideally located at the head of Candolim Beach Road within very easy reach of dozens of bars and restaurants, countless shops and stalls and even a little supermarket. Would definitely revisit and highly recommend.

Leadership comes from the top here. There is a palpable warmth and ease with which the staff, uniformly, engage with the owner – even in unguarded moments. The owner, who makes daily visits to the breakfast area to talk with his guests and to ensure their comfort, is clearly adored by his staff! This generates a fantastically relaxed environment. Everyone deserves mention but Goutam (who cleaned our room), Mr. Subash (security) and Mr. Gouranga (front desk) are but a few. Comfortable beds, clean, spacious and quiet rooms (impressive noise-reducing glazing installed), superb food and attention to detail everywhere.

Visited in Feb 25, absolutely super hotel, which is made to feel very much at home. All the staff are so polite and helpful, no wonder the owner calls them his “Angels”. All the rooms (suites) are very large and very well appointed. The food is superb, the Chef Nitin makes incredible tasty meals that can be adjusted to your tastes. There are 3 pools which again are all immaculate in beautiful gardens. We cannot rate this seashells suites high enough. Suffice to say very highly recommended
