We arrived on 7th march 2025 go home 21st march 2025 , From the moment you are dropped off at the hotel you are greeted by the warm friendly staff they are so helpful and welcoming to you and every time you pass a member of staff they remembered your name and your regular drinks order . the choice of food could be classed as limited at lunch and on the buffet nights but the quality is excellent, definitely quality over quantity , I have been to 5 star hotels and they are not as good, as the service and quality of food that you get its amazing at Aldia santa rita there is a limited of choice on the a la carte & Breakfast menu ,again although limited choice you can ask for different egg and other choices. We normally eat out mostly but quality of food was amazing and they go out there way to get you what you want if nothing is suitable you are spoiled for going out ,The rooms are dated and not as clean as you would have liked but the staff will clean when you ask change bedding and towels you just leave your key at the reception. WiFi bern good in all areas we haven't had any issues. The beaches are stunning and close access but walking on the sand was very hard for me as I have bad legs but was OK for my husband and sister also to mentioning the entertainment singers are great, reception staff lorna and Vjae who does the message are fab she is so gentle, I would definitely come back here the complex is stunning, be sorry to go home it has been amazing experience and weather been hot hot insect repellent buy local its better. Make sure you get mosquito repellent and take your own padlock for your safe box. The box is free of charge and located in the reception area. The hotel hasn't changed that much since our 1st visit 32 years back, only addition was the ac. Also more apartments than we seem to remember. Accomodation adeqate and served its purpose. We had an upstairs apartment with balcony overlooking the pool area, which was a nice place to sit and relax. Wifi was good. Note this is definitely not a glitzy 5 or 4 star hotel so don't book it if that's what you're after. What you will get is great service from the staff and that's what makes your holiday memorable. We were all Inclusive, the food was great and you never needed to wait for your drink to be refilled, quite the opposite. The beach is a very short walk behind the hotel and there's lots of shacks to enjoy especially come sunset time. The road to Candolim is an experience - be prepared for mayhem on the roads. Horns are none stop but not in an aggressive manner. Try the Stone House (live music Rock and Blues) or Bob's Inn, speak to the owners and get an insight into the history of Goa . Trip wise the trip to Mumbai and the overnight train back is for the adventurous type it's a bit ruff and ready but it's great to look back on afterwards. Jake the Snake trip was fantastic also (backwater crocodile and bird life watching). Leave your expectations behind and go with the flow. Most of all enjoy your holiday, embrace India and it's lovely people.

Not sure where the negative reviews have stayed but it doesn’t describe our experience . From the moment you are dropped off at the hotel you are greeted by the warm friendly staff , desperate to shake your hand and welcome you and this us just the norm every time you pass a member of staff or are served by them , within a day they’ve remembered what room you are in and your regular drinks order . It is right that the choice of food could be classed as limited at lunch and on the buffet nights but the quality is excellent, definitely quality over quantity , although there are 4 pages of choice on the alternate a la carte menu . Breakfast again although limited choice you can ask for things not on show like scrambled and poached eggs cooked to perfection . Our intention was to eat out mostly but quality of food was so good we were scared of missing out .Are the rooms dated ? Yes but cleanliness supercedes this .All areas have good WiFi but it is India so be aware of off temporary power cut and drop in shower temperature but these really are minor annoyances compared to everything else . Located within a 2 min walk to the beach and close to numerous good quality and value for money rester-aunts it really is ideal . The TUI guide is informative and is willing to purchase things on your behalf to get a better deal . The hotel has a tailor , masseuse and jeweller . Tailor and a ridiculous , I had 2 made to measure shirts , ready in 2 days for £16 . If you are looking to find a place in the sun to relax and be treated well this is the place .

Cons: Limited parking space, pretty average menu at the restaurant with average taste, very limited menu option for complimentary breakfast, noisy air conditioner, mosquitoes in the evening, bathroom not quite tidy Pros: Efficient and courteous service, good quality bed, kitchen area, plenty of outdoor space, walkable distance to the beach, very nice and clean pool, enough spaces for selfies/group pics I expected better experience given the room rates, so overall a pretty average experience. Does it compel you to come back again? Sadly it doesn't.

The location and stay was excellent, close to the pubs and shacks, 10 mins walk to beach. The room was spacious, we didn't try food here as there were plenty of options outside.

Beautiful stay. Is it 5 star pristine? No. Are there multiple choices of restaurants and activities? No. However, if you want a chilled out time with attentive staff then it’s to place to go. I’d never been to Goa before, had my little apartment right by the pool, cleaned every day to an impeccable standard. As a solo traveller, I felt safe (important to me). Not for families or party animals but great for chatting, eating the various curries (I was AI) and getting to know other guests. Age groups I would say 90% over 50 (including myself) so lots of like minded people. Roads outside the hotel - keep your wits about you lol, but that’s Goa overall. Lovely place, the people make it. If you want luxury this place is not for you but if you want a chilled out time with attentive staff and like minded travellers then yea, highly recommended. After being a Caribbean person for the last 10 years, I will now be switching to Goa for my winter sun 🌞

First of all you cannot be urself there,if we do not want to eat the breakfast even if you opted for it,its a sin, suppose you party late night and sleep during the day and if you miss the breakfast the staff makes a big issue out of it,who are they to interfere that way,its purely our choice to have breakfast or not to have breakfast..same is with the usage of swimming pool, its our choice whether we want to use the swimming pool or not use even if you have opted for it,it depends on our personal mood, but the staff over there instead of leaving the people to decide what they want to do,unnecessarily keep poking their noses in somebody else's business. Also, they have an issue if we order food at the room/hotel,they are so damn rude if anyone does that,in that case they shouldn't leave the menu at the room or shouldn't keep the ivr at the room,a pathetic pathetic place..Also the route which goes from the resort to the beach is not at all safe, its not fenced and open and after sunset there is no chance that you can use this route, its really really dangerous,so they have to make some more provisions from their side to make this route much more safer to use.
