I recently checked in during the early hours around 12+ a.m. after booking through Trip.com. Upon entering the room, I was not informed it was a smoking room, and unfortunately, the smell was extremely unpleasant, especially after turning on the air-conditioning which seemed to circulate the stale smoke.
This experience was disappointing and unacceptable, especially since there was no prior notice during the booking or at check-in. For health and comfort reasons, I would have never agreed to a smoking room.
Please ensure that all customers are clearly informed in advance if they are being assigned a smoking room. Transparency on this matter is essential, especially during late-night check-ins when options to change rooms may be limited.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review your procedures to avoid similar experiences for future guests.

clean and spacious room with city and river view, 5 min walking distance to the most popular streets in Changsha with lots of food and restaurants and local gifts, 12 min walking distance to subway station, very helpful staff, nice gym and swimming pool
